Good points:

* The case unfolds to allow it to pass through an x-ray without removing the laptop.

* Well constructed. You can expect this case to survive years of abuse by even the most seasoned road warrior. The fabric is nice, pleasant to touch and water resistant.

* It has a trolley strap so you can place it on the handle of your roll-along bag.

* The laptop compartment is plush lined. It won't scratch or mark your laptop.

Bad points:

* The case splits in the middle. This means that the strap has to be offset which causes the bag to hang in an unbalanced way.

* The storage compartment is domed it is cut to bulge outward. This means that most of the internal pockets will not hold their contents they spill out into the main compartment.

These two bad points make for a quite poor bag. I would not recommend it.

This bag is light, convenient, practical and durable. I use it weekly when I travel. I carry my laptop, IPad, 2 cell phones, charger cords, papers and my bag of 3 oz personal items in the bag. It sits nicely on my carry on wheeled luggage. I never remove my laptop when going through security. I pull out the bag of 3 oz personal items, unzip the Belkin bag, lay it flat, scan, put personal items in bag then zip the laptop section up and go. It's a winner!

This case has lots of room for extras, plus you don't have to remove the laptop for airport security. I'd recommend this product to anyone that travels. The one slight negative could be that it's larger than most laptop cases.

Nice features, especially the different zipper tab on the "butterfly" opening. Good storage and worked as advertised regarding airport security.

+ The main reason I bought this was to help through the airport. No problems with the TSA having to take my laptop out of this bag.

+ Has plenty of storage. I usually just carry the charger and a mouse.

-The shoulder strap is attached to the section the laptop is not in. In my case (and I suspect for most people) the laptop is the heaviest thing in the bag. So when I unzip the laptop for preparation to put on the X-Ray belt, the thing spreads apart. If the shoulder strap was moved to the section w/ the laptop I wouldn't have this problem. Of course doing so, may prevent the TSA from approving it.

-Wish it had more padding. Again, this may prevent TSA from approving it, so I can't take points off for that.
