First of all I should warn you that I am a rabid supporter of Gregory packsI had a zipper malfunction on my first Gregory pack ever and it was repaired free no questions asked by Gregory Corp. This pack just confirms my previous experiencesthe pack is well designed, fits like a glove, is highly adjustable, has its own rain cover, and most importantly for methe waist belt fits around my plus-sized waist (size 20). Gregory's women's packs are designed to fit a woman's frame, from the wider hips to the narrower shoulders to fitting over plenty of curvesand with the built-in hydration pocket and port, this pack fits plenty of gear for an extended day-trip. I am the leader for a hiking group (PNW Leisure Hiking), and I regularly carry not only my own daily gear but an oversize first-aid kit and two large nalgene bottles for when newbies forget their waterplenty of weight but I never noticeeven with a bum knee this pack distributes the weight so evenly that I can go all day without noticing how heavy my pack really is. Even a fraction of the weight in a standard one-size-fits-all pack kills me after about an hour. I suspect this won't be my last Gregory pack (not because it wears out but because I plan to start backpacking), and each of my old packs has found a new home and continues to be carried to this day.

I have been an avid adventurest for over a decade. I backpack, climb and mountinier. I needed a daypack that wasn't big and bulky for my steep mountain summits. I couldn't believe how well this pack fit and dispersed the weight on my hips! It even solved two of the hardest items to pack! It has convient outer clips to hold both trekking poles or an ice axe. But the best was the open outer pocket that was specifically designed for a snow shovel! Brilliant! Problem solved. It even has a drain for melted snow/ice so it doesn't collect. I was shocked when I received this Gregory Jade 28 Technical Pack! The outermost compartment of this pack IS NOT fully enclosed or covered. The opening is held "closed" with a plastic clip attached to a piece of nylon webbing. The edge of this pocket can easily get caught on brush, branches or a protruding rock, snagging the pack and throwing the wearer off balance. This aspect goes beyond inconvenient, towards potentially dangerous. Additionally, gear could get wet, dirty / dusty or fall out! This is a terrible design element from such a brilliant equipment manufacturer! Of course, the pack is very well made and overall beautifully designed. If you're carrying a large object (that can't fall out) in the outermost pocket and you don't care about getting snared by branches, rocks, etc. OR your gear getting wet or dirty, this just might be your perfect pack for you! I sent mine back.

This bag has left me with no buyer's remorse whatsoever. Like many people, I had questions about what I was about to/had just ordered. I'll go over the what I can about the bag and answer questions I feel would be frequently asked about it.

The bag has four zippered pockets. The main compartment has a sleeve for a laptop with a strap to keep the laptop in the sleeve. The sleeve will more easily fit a laptop with a length less than 13".

The main compartment is also very spacious. Currently, I am a college student and I can fit two textbooks equaling about 4" in thickness into the main compartment, plus a pencil bag and TI-84 on top of the books. Even with all of that, the zippers do not threaten to slide open of come undone.

The second compartment can hold hold several one subject spiral notebooks easily. A sleeve in the this compartment allows a resting place for a tablet. A slot in this compartment allows a wire to be slipped in to use for charging of the tablet. This compartment, I feel would best be used for thinner materials such as notebooks or folders.

The third compartment, which is at the front of the bag houses the battery, as well as slots for pens, pencils, and other small items like miniature notepads or cell phones. There are several openings that have three charging cords wired directly to the battery housing. One cord is used for iPods, iPhones, or other apple products; a mini usb male connector, a micro usb connector, as well as a usb slot for other cords. The battery is stored in a dock within a zippered pouch.

The smallest compartment on the side holds the wall adapter for the bag. The charging port is near the batter and is protected by a water resistant cover.

To check the charge of the battery, one must press the powerbag logo on the front and a charge indicator with will light up, between one and four bars of lights. One bar indicates 24% and under charge, two bars indicate 25-49%, three bars indicate 50-74% and all four bars indicate 75-100% charge. The batter has been able to hold it's charge for almost two weeks before indicating a loss of power. To turn on the charger, one must press the button for two seconds and the bars will light up from the bottom to the top. To turn it off, press the power button for two seconds and the lights will turn off from top to bottom.

on the side of the zippers, there is a mesh pouch which can be used a small water bottle or an ease of access pouch for small items. The bag's strap has a pouch for a small cellphone or walkie talkie as well as two quick release buckles for two additional nylon straps. One strap to connect the bag across the chest and another strap to secure the pack to the body. This particular model of powerbag would be well suited for a runner as the straps keep it from moving about the body. The back of the bag has a lot of padding and cushion to make the pack comfortable to have on.

One last thing is that the zipper pulls are quite large. This makes it easier to grasp and zip/unzip the bag.

As I only have this particular model of powerbag, I can not say I would recommend any powerbag to someone. I will say that I would recommend this particular model to a runner or someone very active as it is not obstructive to movement and will stay secured to the body.

I have been using the backpack for my work/travel and I do very much love the peace of mind that you have by being able to charge your phone or tablet anytime anywhere. I have been able to fully charge my iphone and then charge it again together with a tablet, but both were not fully charged, but that was enough. Note that itis possible to buy a battery which is twice as strong as the one coming with the original bag, but it is not cheap.

I am very happy with the bag, but I wish I had actually bought the regular backpack one, not the sling one (and I live in europe so I cannot buy one here). The main raison is the space: I can put my macbook air, the plug, my agenda, a notebook and an external harddrive in it but then I have to really stretch it to close it, which does not seem good. There is also very limited width even in the big bocket where the laptop compartiment is. Finally, I also find that the sling is actually not practical at all as you have to always put the bag over your head to get something from it and in work situations it is not great. I chose the sling as I thought it would be easy to just turn the bag around while still having it on my back, but it does not really work. A great thing about the sling is that you can chose to hang it right or left.

With regards to the comments that they are a lots of pockets but they are all too small, I could not agree more the side pocket is too small, and the one on the other side for the water can only hold a small 50ml bottle.

Finally, I find the bag quite "long" but am quite short. I use a bike and it keeps hitting the saddle when trying to get back on my bike at lights.

Otherwise the bag is very sturdy and looks really cool. I love the fact that you just plug it in in the wall and note that it works with the power strengh of europe too (220v).

Next time I go to the US I will get the regular backpack shapped one.

I ordered this after seeing the youtube reviews and its great. It does what it says and holds a charge without a problem. What's also great is that the company will let you buy the 6000MaH battery if you want 4 recharges per 1 charge of the battery instead of the two on the default battery that comes with this. It gives you a spot for a 14inch laptop, another pocket for your tablet which you can route the recharge cables into and a bunch of smaller pockets on the front and the side for various things you may also need. I haven't had any issues with this whatsoever. Just make sure you take the plastic covering off of the battery leads, otherwise you're going to wonder why the thing isn't charging at all. They were tiny and I didn't see them. Other than that you will get a lot of use out of this, especially if you're mobile and need to always have power for your tablets, phone, or laptop.

As an aside for you Apple users, this does NOT have a lightning port for the new generation devices. If you have anything right below that that still uses the firewire connection you'll be fine.

As I get closer to grad school I spend more and more time either on campus, or in transit to campus. My life has become about compact living, ease of travel, ergonomic comfort and convenience. This bag has been a welcomed addition to my cabal of travel/school gear and I will try to detail why I've been so taken with it below.

Charging station: The bag works great as a charging station, I could have done without them integrating an iPlug into it, as I despise apple and their frumpy overpriced products, it does nothing more than remove a wire I could use to charge something else. That, is my only complain about the battery though. It charges everything I've plugged into it in a more than rapid fashion. My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 charged from nearly empty to full in about 30 minutes, at home plugged to the wall that takes around an hour. My Galaxy SII charges from 0-full in about 30 as well, and my galaxy tab 2 7.0 does a full recharge in about the same time. Being they're all samsung devices, I'm assuming that they have about the same battery capacity and this impacts the similarity in charging times. Regardless, the point is that it does a fast and solid job of charging them. As far as the batter life of the bag's battery, it seems limitless. I was at campus all day several times last week and using the battery to charge something around 60% of the time. At the end of the week it was only down two bars when I turned it one (there are lights that shine from underneath the fabric on the front pocket when the battery is active, very Tron-esque). I have been nothing short of impressed and happy with my purchase here.

Material and aesthetics: The bag is not cheaply constructed and I would easily and comfortably compare it's quality with that of any of my Under Armour, ADIDAS, or other high grade sports bags I've purchased. In all honesty, I am tempted to say it surpasses them for the job at hand. There is a lining inside each compartment that will protect your precious electronics from rain or spills, I wouldn't go and throw the bag in a lake for safe keeping. It actually rained here yesterday while I was on campus and I was pretty drenched, the bag's outer layer was mildly saturated but the insides were dry, cold, but dry. As far as appearances, the bag is stunningly sexy in my personal opinion, until you open it that is. The outside is a slick looking black with some elegant logo's stitched into it, you won't be embarrassed to carry it with you anywhere, but the insides are a kind of "safety cone orange" which I could have done without. However, I say that and it sure is convenient that all your "stuff" inside sticks out the way it does when you're going through it.

Comfort and function: The bag rests comfortably over your shoulder and can be adjusted from left to right sling positions with a simple migration of the shoulder strap. There is another tether that hangs off the main strap which serves the intention of allowing you to secure it in a Y configuration across your ribs. I have found this useful as I jog from the affordable parking to the main campus on occasion, both out of necessity as well as prudence here and there. The compartments inside work perfectly find for the entire plethora of devices which constitute my mobile work station. That list includes two tablets, my phone, an MP3 player, tons of cables, a textbook, a notepad, pens and pencils, and some snacks; sometimes a laptop/tablet PC as well. I have packed both samsung tablets and a textbook as well as my EP121 into at the same time, while it fits, I don't make a habit of doing this, you can feel the tension with the bag on your back. So in short, it actually works very well, because your average person will not try to pack as many things into it.

My only complain is that I use bluetooth earphones with my T 7.0 while on campus, and the material lining the inside of the bag seems to disrupt that signal. With my UA sling and messenger bags I carry the same ensemble and use everything the same way, never had the problem. I even purchased a different bluetooth headset to see if that was the issue... It was not. This wouldn't be an issue if it didn't really interfere with my daily rituals, but it's not a big enough deal I'm going to take a star off because the product is 100% solid in my opinion.

Highly suggested, from a guy that knows tech and on-the-go necessity.

Busy Breathers Oxygen Carrying Backpack

I purchased this backpack (through a different website) after purchasing "Oxygen Cylinder Backpack Bag M6/M9 Cylinders" and having a strap on that item tear off after 3 uses. I have had the Busy Breather's bag for over 2 months and use it daily for an 8 hour shift at work. There have been absolutely no problems with it. The straps are sturdy, highly adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes and the inside area for the tank holds it securely when adjusted with the toggle. The chest strap is in a good position so the user does not feel they are being choked while using it. The extra storage is helpful in that I do not have to carry the backpack and a purse.

I wish the bag had a grommet opening for the cannula in each side of the bag to allow for personal preference for which side one wants the tubing to come from. I also really wish it was a product that was made in USA. I only gave it 4 stars because it is made in china.

I recommend this bag.

This has turned out to be a great overall daypack; at first I thought it may be on the small side but the front zipper pocket expands out quite a bit and the side pockets are deep. The main pocket is great and carries what I need personals, wallet, sunglasses, flash drives, extra shirt or sweater water and a few other items. The waist belt is great and what I had been looking for as many daypacks now no longer have a good belt but just a thin strap. If you are carrying any weight this is the belt to have. Granite Gear is a great product and Amazon had a competitive price. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Overall a very nice backpack that is lightweight if you're going to go to the beach or around town however not a technical performance hiking pack. The hipbelt on these is just too stiff and too thick to properly sit atop your illiac crest and move with your body as you are hiking and climbing and the shoulder straps are just too stiff and thick as well. I originally bought this pack since I was having trouble finding a short torso ~30L daypack (I have a 15-15.5" torso length) with the proper support. The pack runs true to size in the torso length area but the thickness and stiffness of the hipbelt and shoulder belt prevent this from being a practical technical daypack for hiking and climbing. I ended up removing the hipbelt and don't use it. Also Granite Gear could do a better job designing the pack so that it is more tall and narrow rather than being like a school backpack which is short and fat where much of the load sits farther away from your body putting more strain on your shoulders and back. More gear attachment loops added to the inside would help as well to attach some of the heavier stuff to the inside top of the pack for better weight distribution (heavier items in a pack should go on top for the most comfortable fit). Overall, I have tried many many packs though and I would rate this one 3/5.

Designer Sleeves 13-Inch Autumn Birds Laptop Case (13DS-AUTB)

First, I love this sleeve. Beautiful design, good cushion for a laptop and I loved that there is an outside pocket for power cord and such.

I searched for 15.6" laptop sleeves for the new Asus I ordered. I did not realize that the choices included other sizes as well this was the only design in a laptop sleeve that really caught my eye and I was excited to order it.

Unfortunately, it seemed rather small upon arrival, and when my laptop arrived a few days later it confirmed the sleeve is inches too small.

Now I have to debate whether I want to pay 8.48 in UPS shipping to return, OR contemplating using it to cary file folders and catalogs for my business since the plastic accordian file I have is busted, and it appears this could expand and possibly work.

I chose the pink duffle bag because it showed TWO zippered pockets in the photo on Amazon, and I loved the color. The bag ONLY has one zippered compartment. I was disappointed when I saw this, I already have a Nike bag the same size with one zippered compartment I wanted two compartments. I just want buyers to BEWARE that the photos posted on Amazon are not accurate. Why they have the zoom in feature so you can see the bag in detail is beyond me. Just make sure you read the details on the bag carefully, it does state ONE pocket although they posted a photo of a bag that has TWO!!!

Also they state that the adjustable shoulder strap is padded I did NOT recieve one that is padded. I really feel as though I was ripped off when I purchased this bag . I really like Nike products but, am very unhappy with this purchase.

I had been looking for a sleeve to protect my laptop while it was in my messenger bag. I didn't want a new bag, because I liked the one I had, but all the sleeves I saw were kind of ugly and didn't seem A) very durable or B) very well made.

I thought I'd give the Sumo sleeve a try, although I was worried that it might be a bit small for my laptop, which is a Dell. But it arrived today, five days earlier than the estimate, and it's great.

Very sturdy and well made, and really well padded, so I have no worries about putting it into my bag with my cords and other paraphernalia. Plus it's kind of unique looking, which I like.

I think the price is very good, as I shopped around for quite awhile before buying, and found this to be the most bang for the buck.

I bought this sleeve for my Dell Inspiron e1405 and it is a perfect fit with a little room for my headphones. The exterior is a bright pink tough nylon and the padding is pretty thick, while it could be a little better. It seems durable enough. The interior is cute, with soft black corduroy and little printed sumos.My computer thankfully doesn't run warm, but if yours does, then this sleeve also acts as a good pad to protect you from the heat. All in all, I love this notebook sleeve. It is a great looking and functional sleeve, especially for those of you who don't want the boring old black notebook sleeve. Great buy!

I love everything about this computer sleeve except one thing. It's hard to pull out of a bag because it slips out of my hands. Perhaps it couldn't be called a computer sleeve if it had handles but it sure would be easier to pull out of my carry-on when going through TSA lines.

The design is nice. The price was right. But it may be worth spending a bit more to get better hardware. The zipper snags the fabric and has gotten stuck. I wonder how long it will last.

15 15.6 inch Gray Black Swirl Design Laptop Sleeve Bag Carrying Case with Hidden Handle & Adjustabl

It's a little big for my HP 15.6" laptop. There is about an inch at the top, so it doesn't fit as well as I wanted. The picture is also printed weirdly. It's almost like it was printed twice on there with one kind of faded. It's also adds a bit of weight to carrying the laptop, but it certainly has plenty of cushion to protect my laptop. That is ultimatly what I was looking for.

Sooo, maybe I misread the detail when I bought this, but by "hidden handle" they don't mean you can tuck the 2 handles inside when you don't want to use them...it means you don't have a choice. In order to zip up the bag you have to put the handles inside. So, you are then forced to carry it or use the shoulder strip. Very lame.

The stitching is subpar...I'm kind of afraid that the 2 handles will rip out.

I haven't tried the shoulder strap yet because I am going to try and send this back for at least a partial refund.

Oh, and it's probably mentioned in the posting, but there are no inside pockets to carry cords or a mouse. No pockets inside or out.

The padding is just sad. It's really thin and I'm afraid the bag might rip easily (flimsy material).

The one good thing about it? The design. But it's not enough to make me recommend this.

This computer sleeve is very comfortable to carry. I love the fact that you can adjust the shoulder strap. The design on the bag is just as beautiful in person as seen in the picture. the only thing that I wish was different is I was hoping for something with a little more padding. This is very light weight, so if the strap were to break, then your computer wouldnt have anything to protect it from a fall. Other than that, it is a great sleeve/bag.

Shame on me should have read the REVIEWS a little better, But alas. I am assuming they should actually PICTURE THE CORRECT BACKBACK. since this is not the same in the AD its wayyyy diff. Hot Pink body...DARK purple straps and zipper pockets etc Has all the princess..Lil mermiad , Princess and the Frog, Etc.... .....3 on the upper half 3 on the bottom half it says Follow your heart. With a heart and a crown in the middle surrounded in fake jewels thought i was expecting somthing totttally different. I mean I thought it was almost even ambient in the picture above in the ad. No sparkles. Nothing. I am sure my child will use it its sturdy and she needed a new backback still writing the seller though.

I purchased this backpack as a Christmas present for my 4 year old daughter. She absolutely loves princesses. However, The backpack we received was not the one pictured. It is still a princess themed backpack but the princesses on it are different and the front pocket on the one we received is smaller than the one pictured. I am not particularly angry, since I did still receive a backpack that I believe she will like. But when I paid for this backpack I was expecting to get the one shown and it is somewhat upsetting to receive something that isn't what I expected.

I bought two for my 4 and 6 girls, and I personally felt the actual backpack was not as good as its picture on the ad....the actual backpack looks cheapy. So I think it is ok for younger kids but won't be a perfect choice for bigger kids.

It is well constructed and designed.

My son carries a ton of books at school; and no matter how he challenges the laws of density, physics, etc. this backpack holds up very nicely built and lots of space.

High Sierra Tech Series 59104 Lightning 30 Internal Frame Pack

Took it on a 20 mile hike over ten of the highest peaks east of the Mississippi, and camped out for two nights. The bag fit everything and held up great. Definitely not for anyone with a larger body frame. Im 5'9" about 155, and it fits me perfect.

A good all around pack. Light weight and accessible. The pack is comfortable to carry around. The arch in the frame certainly helps with air flow through the back. This was my only luggage on a trip to Guatemala. This size passes as a carry-on as well.

One thing none of the descriptions anywhere on Amazon will tell you is that this particular version is the "slim fit" size. In fairness, High Sierra's website doesn't mention that fact either. If you are looking for the "grown man" version of this bag, it is the one that is labeled "35" instead of "30." I weigh right at 200 pounds and stand 6' tall, and this version is fine for me.

My wife and I bought a similar pack (a 35) by High Sierra several years ago now we need two. That pack is excellent, and this one looks like a minor upgrade. Overall, good purchase!

I took this backpack on a trip where I got plenty of use out of it. Fit 10 days of clothes, etc. It held up well, fit well, and I found the pockets to be well thought out and useful. The downside is that the curve of the back--which makes it incredibly comfortable--also makes it difficult to fit a laptop into the laptop hold and makes the big inside pocket awkwardly shaped and hard to get things into and out of. This made it feel smaller than other 30-liter backpacks I've had.

Fits carry-on though, and I don't think a larger version would!
