Amaro 52173 Varsity Wheel Backpack

I never could be asked for writing a review until now. I bought my Amaro bag nearly 9 years ago while visiting the USA. Originally did not want to buy it but it was so cheap, and the owner of the shop so much wanted to sell something to me, that in the end I bought it just to silence the guy and get out of the shop.Never made a better decision.

The backpack lasted 8 years with no serious wear and tear marks. I used it for everything. It was full-packed to its limits several times for long journeys. Carried(dragged,dropped)on various trips all around the world with 35-40 pounds inside. Survived with no trouble. I found, that this is the most easily packable backpack for my stuff. It takes up enormous amount of things. I often looked at it (and my belongings around it) thinking "it just physically cannot fit in this bag" but in the end I have always managed to squeeze in everything.

It is really well packable for some reason. No, I am not a paid representative of the Amaro bags at all but never in my life come across with anything as versatile,durable and practical for such low price as this bag.I think it tells a lot how much I loved this bag if I tell, that I am living in the UK but ordering it from the USA as it is not available in the UK. I am paying customs duties,expensive shipping and loosing money on changing the currency as well.I do not mind, I just must have the same model again.

I bought this bag for my niece who loves a great handbag for herself. So when I found this diaper bag that is not only functional but great looking it was the perfect find. It is expensive but is so well made and so much thought given to what a mom will need for baby and for herself. You can leave your purse at home if you want because the front pocket has everything organized for keys, phone, and even sunglasses and car keys. There is a crumb hole in the big pocket so you do not have to dump the bag over to clean out. Too many features to list here. There are some great videos to watch that also compare the BFF to the Be Prepared bag (which is much larger but similar). The straps can be easily adjusted or removed if you do not want to use the backpack feature. The lining is gorgeous in feel and color. All the stitching is very nicely done and zippers move easily. I also love that the bottom has metal feet so that this nice bag is not left making contact to floors etc. I also prefer a bag that you do not have to dig deep to find items. This is probably a personal preference but other well known bags are very deep with one huge opening. See comparisons on more videos. Biggest problem was deciding on which pattern since there are so many beautiful patterns available that range from fun to girly to elegant. My niece is like me and returns/exchanges everything but is keeping this bag because she fell in love with it. I am thinking this as an investment since it is expensive but should last a long time.

This bag is great! I got it for christmas and am very pleased. I don't feel it is "babyish" like alot of other bags. It is very stylish for me and my husband. The changing pad is great. It has so much room I don't think I could fill it up if I tried. It also has an anti-microbial lined pocket which is great for soiled clothes and dirty diapers. I haven't used my regular purse since I had my son. There's plenty of room for my cell, wallet, keys, make-up and two pockets for his bottles inside and pockets on the outside for water bottles. Great buy!

This bag would be great if the body of the bag expanded. As it is, once you fill up a few pockets, you aren't able to put anything else in the bag unless you crammed it all in, in which case 1) the flap won't close and 2) you'd have to dump the contents of the bag to get to anything. The side pockets for the bottles were nice, but the front flap pockets were basically useless unless you stored small, flat items into it. I think my iPhone fit into the slot, but not my keys. The back zippered pocket above the slot for the changing pad fit a couple of diapers. The main compartment of the bag has elasticized pockets lining the sides, but once you filled two of the pockets, your space was pretty much maxed out. We chose this bag because it was sleek and didn't scream "diaper bag", but found it unusable for a newborn baby and ended up having to find another bag that would work out better. The built-in stroller clips were a nice touch though, that was my favorite feature. We're currently using a backpack and are still searching for a good diaper bag.

My mom bought me an expensive Vera Bradley diaper bag which only had a few pockets and all my stuff was in a jumble all over the inside. Plus there was no space for my things, only my son's. As you soon find out, you can't carry a purse and a diaper bag, so you have to have one that does both. I ordered this one because it had the most pockets I could find in a diaper bag. It rocks and my stuff is still organized after 4 months. I take this everywhere with me. The inside has great spots for a backup bottle, my stuff is on the outside, and I even have a coupon pocket for the store. This also hangs nicely on the stroller and I have found a million uses for the two outside side mesh pockets, everything from my son's bottle to water to my sunglasses and keys. I know it is a lot of money for a bag, but you won't ever need another one because it is durable and I would carry it for an ordinary bag after I don't need diapers anymore.

The bag is fantastic quality but just isn't quite big enough for a full day outing. We cloth diaper and 3 diapers take up about 50% of the bag. I do really love all the inside and outside pockets though, keeps things seperate and easy to find.

This diaper bag is not really spacious inside the main compartment. It is really not worth the money!

There are a lot of pockets all around but doesn't fit anything inside the main compartment once the zippers outside are full of little items! Because of the material, the bag doesn't stretch. For an infant, I have to carry at least 4-5 diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, 2 feeding bottles and a small thermos flask. Even the side mesh pockets don't stretch to accommodate the feeding bottles. Most other diaper bags allow at least this much space.

It is not worth the money. I am so disappointed. I was excited by the prospect of the stroller clips and the number of compartments. I give it two stars because of the look and it is slim.. but useless.

This novel weightless backpack is quite useful. It almost packs into the tiny built-in stuff sack; small enough to easily put in a jacket pocket, purse or glove compartment, but too big for comfort in my pants pocket. It holds a decent volume about as much as a small bookbag-backpack or sling sack. A bag of groceries, for instance. Or a small load of laundry I use it regularly for five T-shirts, socks, underwear, and a pair of pants. Hard objects will stick out, into your back if you are not careful. But they won't break through. The material is strong, though very thin. I'm careful with it. It is pretty waterproof, which most small backpacks aren't at all. The straps are barely sufficient. You have to carefully lay the straps flat on your shoulders to avoid them cutting in. The strap adjusters work well, and are important for getting a bearable weight distribution. I can't walk far with it filled unless I have a heavy jacket to pad my shoulders, so it isn't for a day hike or anything like that. Just short trips where holding a bag would be heavy and inconvenient.

Everyone should have one!

For the price this is a good laptop sleeve. It is pretty and has a little padding for moderate if not fantastic protection. My only complaint about this one is that one of the handles seemed weakly attached and started to come apart from the case. It was an easy fix to get out the sewing machine and secure the seams though so it didn't bother me very much.

J World Twinkle Rolling Backpack

I have bought 3 of these rolling backpacks since the kids these days carry way too many books and stuff for the backpack to be put on their shoulders. That's the plus side of these rolling backpacks. This and the heavy duty rubber bottom would have gotten 5 stars from me for this review but the quality/durability leaves the product much to be desired. In short, here're what we have ended up with:

The first one, one of the wheels came out of the socket after 2 months.

Thinking that it maybe just our luck, we ordered a second one. This one fared even worse--the seam of the canvas where it connect to the rubber bottom came loose after a few weeks of use. We contact the seller (we bought them from via amazon.com but they no long carry this brand anymore) and were offered a replacement. However this last one (we are not going to dump more money into this product), the handle won't retract after a few months of usage. All in all, I would give 5 stars for the features and design, but 1 star for the quality/durabilty--so it average out to be a 2 star product.

Bought this for my daughter for back to school. Had a strong chemical smell at first, probably due to the manufacturing process. I opened all the zippers and let it air out a couple days before use, and the smell went away. The backpack looks really nice. But after one month of school, the wheel broke off. Seller does not give returns on used items, or returns after 30 days (must be in new condition). Then I went to the J World website. They have a 12 month warranty, but you have to pay for shipping on your end (about $10), and send J World check for $14.95 for the shipping on there end. So that would cost me about $25 to return this. Also, they said it has to be a manufacturer's defect, not any kind of abuse. So there was a risk that I send it in and they say my daughter abused it and broke the wheel off. Also, you need the warranty card, and my backpack didn't have a warranty card, I only had the receipt. So basically I have to eat this one. Not happy at all with this purchase. Also, my daughter has a light amount of weight in the bag, wheels it on a smooth and even sidewalk, and everything is one one level (no stairs). I know she doesn't abuse it, because I take her to school and pick her up, and walk her in and out. It is definately not abused or banged around, just poor quality. When you look at how the wheel is attached, it is attached with a small 1/2 inch piece of cheap plastic.

Although the bag is durable in regards to material, zippers, bottom and wheels, and the twinkling wheels add an element of fun, the handle stopped retracting after just a few weeks of use. My daughter is frustrated with the bag but we've continued to use it due to it's high cost. I'm frustrated to have paid over $50 for a kids school backpack only to have it 'break' shortly thereafter. I now notice others have complained about the very same issue.

I needed a black bag for carrying my reffing paraphernalia and had been looking around till I found this. The weight is just right yet it has a feel of solidity. The zippers are robust and the lightweight straps, to my surprise, work very well. I also like the assortment of pockets particularly the inside bag where I can store my wet gear separate from my other stuff. It's big enough to accommodate everything I need including my jacket. The outside mesh pockets have a thoughtful Velcro closure for sealing in my watch, whistles, and cards that I need quick access to. It takes up little space when empty and can be hung in my closet when not in use. It is obviously designed by someone who uses and appreciates bags.

High Sierra 1600-Cubic Inches Mugsy Daypack

My daughter loved this book bag because it fit her books nicely but was not over-sized. Unfortunately the entire bottom of the bag tore only half way through the school year!

I recently had to stop using a timberland backpage that I owned for nearly 15 years and eseentially used everyday. I did a lot of research before I decided on this back pack as one of the repacements. I thought it would be too small/simply designed for every day use however it has become my every day back pack. Even when carrying heavy books/items in my back pack the shoulder straps are such that it never digs in or feel uncomfy during a long commute. I've looked around for a lot of cases to fit my Lenovo T410 w\ 9 cell battery and found most to either be too big or too tight (because the 9 cell battery sticks out of the back). I checked out the Zeroshock III based on recommendations from Lenovo forums and discovered that this case fits the laptop perfectly! The padding on the inside is memory foam very dense and very protective. The outside of the case is rubber-like; I didn't like it at first but now I realize that it's semi-waterproof perfect for keeping the laptop safe if you accidentally spill something on it or have to carry the case in the rain so I can live with it. Although it's not advertised as such, I've sent the case (with laptop inside) through airport scanners and TSA didn't have a problem with it.

I wanted something that'll fit in my backpack so I can carry my laptop around and this was the perfect product for me. Its padded nicely on the inside and easy to open and close. I would purchase this again if I had to.

This case fits my Lenovo Y480 perfectly (with the wireless antenna), and it opens fully/flat, which is more convenient than a slide-in sleeve. The egg-crate padding is thick enough to protect the laptop but is still light weight. I'm quite satisfied.

I bought this case for my Lenovo T410 w/ 9cell battery. As other reviews have mentioned, it fits this model perfectly. The case offers excellent protection with an eggcrate style foam lining, and reinforced edges to protect against drops. The price of all this protection is a little extra bulk I was overly optimistic in estimating the size of the case compared to my current laptop bag, so it's a very snug fit. All things considered, it's an excellent case, and is leaps and bounds above the cheap neoprene cases offered by most OEMs.

This backpack appears to be well constructed and padded. I can't say much about the durability, since I just received it.

It's advertised as being able to accommodate a 17" laptop, however my ThinkPad T61, with a 15.4" screen, will not fit in the laptop pocket. It's just a little bit too wide for the pocket. I believe the issue lies in the fact that my ThinkPad was purchased in 2007, when 16x10 aspect ratios were the standard for laptops, rather than the current standard of 16x9. This makes a current 15-16" laptop a little narrower (and a little longer) than one with a 16x10 aspect ratio like mine. ThinkPad's are also known for their sturdy construction, which may make it slightly larger than an average consumer-grade laptop. I imagine this bag would fit a 16x9 15-16" screen laptop, but if yours is older, like mine, be careful. That being said, I've been thinking for a while now about getting a new laptop, so I think I'll keep this bag and store my laptop in a padded sleeve inside of it until I can afford to upgrade.

For comparison, my ThinkPad is 10" wide and 1.25" thick.

So overall, I'm happy with it, but a little disappointed that it can't fit my laptop.

I was a little dubious about whether this bag would work for my 6 year old. The bag is adorable, and the size is perfect. When we first opened the package, I thought for sure we would have to return it. However, it comfortably holds her snowpants, mittens, hat, a pair of shoes, her school folder, a library book and her Crocodile lunch pail. The price is very reasonable compared to other options-I hate the idea of spending over $50 for a bag that a child might get tired of and/or gets dragged around everywhere (rain, snow and sun). I will return to this company and product when it is time to buy 2 bags for the fall.
