I needed a bag to use when riding my motorcycle. This bag was just what I was looking for. The refelcetive strip and the orange color add to the safety so motorist can see me. Also I am in the Army and on my post it is required for motorcyle riders to have a refelctive belt on the bag when riding. This in turn removed the need for me to have to use the belt with the reflective strip on it. Not to mention this bag is the perfect size and has many pockets. Great bag!!!!!!

These bags are well-made and the colors are awesome. The zipper is really well made and this is not cheaply made.

My son is rough with his backpacks and he swings his all over the place and I know he has thrown it a few times...The bag is as nice from when I brought it for him. Very Nice!!

I purchased this backpack to use for hiking and my outdoor activities. The fabric is very durable and I appreciated all of the pockets for my stuff. The padded shoulder straps were put to the test and really came through; I was able to walk comfortably for hours and enjoy my leisure time. My teenager got his hands on it and tried it out, and really liked it. The price is so affordable I will be able to get one for him too. Love the color selection. I purchased this backpack because of the reflective strip on the back. I decided on the black backpack, but the so called "reflective strip" was not reflective at all. I tested the reflective strip by placing the backpack in one of my bedrooms, no lights on, almost completely blacked out, and shined a flashlight on it with the results showing no hint of reflective properties on this backpack at all. Otherwise the backpack seems to be of quality material and has a good amount of compartments available throughout. I am still disappointed at the strip not being reflective because I am going to use it for my rides on my motorcycle. I resorted to having a reflective belt being wrapped around the backpack for easier visibility for other motorists on the road.

-In short, good quality material, plenty of spacious compartments, but no reflective strip. This was misleading during my decision to purchase it.

I love it, I cant seem to find an excuse not to take it everywhere. The only problem is the compartment size. If you want to travel with it, be warned! It holds next to nothing. For schoolstuff there is enough space, but for anythin more than 3 tshirts and shorts it will be full.

I use this not only as a backpack but also as luggage on my 07 ninja 250. I can't understand the idea of using it while snowboarding in waste deep powder in the North Cascades. It doesn't meet any backcountry needs such as the ability to hold a shovel and avalanche probe. Also could you imagine riding a lift with it? Nope. But thats not why i bought it. I bought it for moto. AND I LOVE IT.

This is a really really handsome bag. The photos definitely don't do it justice. If you want a bag that protects your back, looks awesome, and will stand out in a crowd, look no further. This bag is a CE-Certified Level 2 (highest level) back protector, and I don't think I've ever had as many compliments or questions about anything I've owned as I've had with this bag.

One caveat: This bag really doesn't hold all that much. It'll take a laptop, one or two textbooks, and maybe a few other assorted trinkets. It does expand a couple of inches if you need it to, but I wouldn't count on this bag as a serious option for carrying more than a few books around.

I needed a black bag for carrying my reffing paraphernalia and had been looking around till I found this. The weight is just right yet it has a feel of solidity. The zippers are robust and the lightweight straps, to my surprise, work very well. I also like the assortment of pockets particularly the inside bag where I can store my wet gear separate from my other stuff. It's big enough to accommodate everything I need including my jacket. The outside mesh pockets have a thoughtful Velcro closure for sealing in my watch, whistles, and cards that I need quick access to. It takes up little space when empty and can be hung in my closet when not in use. It is obviously designed by someone who uses and appreciates bags.

I ordered one of these "used" backpacks thinking I would have some light sewing to do or repairing or washing to do. I mainly ordered this backpack for work. After it arrived, I was pretty blown away! The backpack exterior was in immaculate condition. There would be no way for anyone to know it is a "used" backpack. The ONLY defect I found was there is a small repairable tear on one of the inside pockets. All the backpacks are different, so theres no telling if you will be so lucky, but based on the other reviews, you most likely will get a top quality backpack!

The pack itself is about medium sized, good for one or two days of backpacking materials, or for use as a day pack. The MARPAT design is really eye catching. Not a ton of zippers or pockets, just a basic pack, but perfect for minimalists who don't want a bunch of pockets. There is one small drain hole on the underside of the pack. The shoulder straps are just cushy enough and not too wide at all. Lots of easily adjustable straps for maximum confort. I would say if you like the looks and design of this backpack, it is a GREAT deal! Great backpack! Mine didn't ship folded.

Okay so let me start off by saying I am NOT a Marine but I give my upmost respect to those guys & I have a couple friends & family members serving the corps. I LOVE this pack !! The marpat camo looks great & looks exactly like the pictures. The pack came with tan colored heavy plastic buckles instead of the black metal arc'teryx shown on the pictures, (I'm sure they replaced them due to defects on the originals) has a small hole inside the main pocket & the main compartment is also a little sandy & dirty (which is fine for me because it adds to the authenticity ! ) this is the REAL DEAL USMC issue pack. Made from cordura 725 denier fabric. My ONLY complaint was the matter of shipping, my pack took a while to get to me & when I finally got it, it came in a small box & I wasn't sure what it was until I opened it & found my backpack folded inside of it. (the backpack has a plastic back support (removable) that bent a little bit & now my pack kind of leans. Otherwise this is an amazing backpack that I'm sure will last me a lifetime !

I am getting this wallet for my son's frist wallet for his 3rd birthday. I'm excited that I was able to find a wallet with a picture of something he'd know. SwissGear Travel Gear 1592 Backpack

The SA1592 backpack has been on the market for quite a while, so I'm really surprised that this is the first review. I bought mine at a retail store, where I had an opportunity to directly compare SwissGear backpacks against a number of other brands, like The North Face and Jansport. To me, SwissGear offered the best build quality, along with an attractive style, at a very competitive price.

After deciding to go with SwissGear, my next decision was choosing between the SA1592 and the SwissGear 1900. Both are very well made, and share many common features, and are available in black, and black and red, color schemes. The 1900 has a heavy duty plastic handle on the top, and a separate side accessible compartment dedicated for a laptop. However, to secure the computer, there was only one narrow padded strap with Velcro on both ends. This did not seem to provide adequate security, and the 1900 does not have a waist strap. So after some deliberation, I went with the SA1592, because it seemed to offer a bit more security.

The SA1592 is about 20" high, and 16" wide, and has many of the standard SwissGear features, including bottle holder pockets on each side, large 11" high zippered side pockets with grommet holes, a compartment with organizer pockets, heavily padded an sculptured airflow backing, padded shoulder straps, and a large main compartment with a deep sleeve for a laptop up to 15". The black and red nylon outer material, appears to be pretty durable, but is still very pliable, with a slight sheen. The major zippers are wide, and have large solidly built metal pull handles, with openings that you can insert a small padlock through. If you really had to, a cord could be fed through the grommet holes in the sides of the pack, and used to tie down something, on the top of the pack.

There's a slit on top to feed through your earphone cord, and a couple of dedicated pockets inside, near the top, for your phone, radio, or MP3 player. This larger compartment can accommodate quite a bit, and has a couple of additional zippered compartments inside. The organizer compartment is on the back near the bottom, and has five pen-sized sleeves, other miscellaneous pockets, as well as a detachable key ring. A small detachable holster case, is provided on the shoulder strap.

The strap for the laptop compartment is Velcro, but almost everything else is secured by either zippers, or plastic clips. Things may slide around inside the backpack, but properly zipped up and secured, there is very little chance that anything inside will accidentally fall out, or get lost, except for through the grommet holes.

What's missing? Not too much actually. While the padded handle on top is very serviceable, a hard plastic one like the 1900 model, would have been nice. Plastic bumpers on the bottom of the pack would have provided additional protection, but that would also have made the pack less collapsible.

Empty, the backpack doesn't weigh much, but it is capable of holding a lot of stuff. It is very comfortable to wear, as the shoulder straps provide good support, and distribute the weight nicely. The waist strap is a little narrow, and only extends to fit about a 40" waist, but it does help prevent the pack from sliding off.

I'm very happy with this cool looking, and very functional backpack, which I got on sale for only $40.

I owned a SwissGear for several years, very similar style and looking. After years of carrying TWO 15" laptop and/or multiple camera gears, it has loosened stitches. In searching to find a replacement, Travel Gear 19xx series looks very good.

Just one problem, only the 1592 has a waist strap. I need to have the waist strap, so 1592 is the only choice I have.

I don't need the smartScan feature that actually waist one layer of zipped space. The laptop porch is also side in, unlike the 1592 top in.

Overall, I recommend 1592 over later styles 19xx.

EnteraLite Infinity Mini Backpack for EnteraLite Feeding Pumps

These back packs are cheaply made and do not stand up to the intensive use required for my son who is a very active toddler , even with his special needs and we take it out and about with us on walks, visits, and it gets thrown around the play area by him while hes playing, The seams start to pull and fray very quickly and the zips are really cheap and catch easily and break really quickly. They are cheap, likely made in China and the medical companies are charging a fortune for them. Please can they be more hard wearing and durable. They need to be able to be put through the washing machine on a weekly basis too as they get really stinky with dribbles of milk on them too and general dirt over time. Please help. I am so frustrated by the poor quality of them, Fins Mum.

This backpack is cute. It holds the pump and feeding bag well but there are some serious issues with durability. The zippers and fabric usualy last 6-8 months then we are holding the thing together with safety pins. Very irritating! You would think for the price they could make that better. It is an esential part of the feeding system for an active child on a feeding pump and allows my son to interact with the world instead of being hooked up to a pole. My son is fed for 18 hours a day. If you or your child has a feeding tube and is fed with the zevex infinity pump, then this backpack is a must have. Check with your insurance to see if they cover the cost as mine did. The backpack made life much easier for our family as my baby was on continuous feeds for quite some time. We were able to go anywhere and not worry about an iv pole to drag around.

The straps are nicely padded, and the bag itself was the perfect size for me. This bag would be too big for a toddler under 3 to wear in my opinion (especially if your child has a low body weight). If you are looking for a backpack for your toddler or young child to wear themselves, then I would get the EnteraLite Infinity Super-Mini Backpack.

It is worth the money if your insurance company won't cover it.

I purchased these backpacks for my 2 1/2 year old twins for Christmas since they were obsessed with trying to wear their big brother's (6 y/o), which which was too big for them. This backpack is made out of high quality materials. It has a great pocket on top to fit a little snack or your keys. The side mesh pockets easily hold their water bottle. It has a non-adjusting chest strap. I thought this would be a problem as it looked like it would rest on their belly, but actually works great and keeps the straps from falling off (a must have if you are shopping for young kid backpacks). Based on the size, I think it will be very practical until they are maybe 6 y/o. It is great for day trips, enough room for a spare change of clothes, snacks and pull-ups and wipes. The backpack is good for now. I only carry it once or twice a week, which I can not really speak about the durablity. I can say it appears to be made from good quality material. I would like if it was a little bigger inside. Wish it had one more small pocket.

Manfrotto MB SB390-3BB Veloce III Backpack

I would be lying if I said this bag wasn't extremely well made. I can't take that away from it. BUT, after just buying it an hour ago and setting it up for my Nikon D600 with attached Nikon 20-35 f2.8 I found the bags design to be inherently flawed. It seems apparent to me that the design was meant to hold a very small entry level dslr with a long lens. Not a larger bodied dslr with any sized lens. There are certain adjustable walls that are stitched into the fabric so they cannot be used any other way as far as I can tell at this point. The main middle divider can only be used in its original orientation and this seems to be just too big for me to comfortably use it for my setup. It puts just a little too much pressure between the cameras grip and the lens body for my liking. So instead I am FORCED to keep my camera in the top pocket and yank it out of there which isnt a big issue if you don't have a laptop in the back. I like most photographers, do keep a laptop on me at most shoots. My 13" Macbook Pro fits fine if not a little too small for the sleeve but thats not a big issue. What is the bigger issue is how the camera must grate past the corner of the laptop when being pulled in and out of the backpack. So all in all it seems to me like they spent all of 15 minutes testing this design out with one camera and decided to ship to consumer. I don't have some insane million dollar setup so I thought this bag would be perfect for me but after a brief use of it I think I may return it and buy something more suitable to my needs.

The shipping and dealing with the company all went well. I was excited to see the backpack once I was able to check it out as promised by the shipper! However, only two weeks into use with the imitation leather tabs for the zippers kept coming undone. I'd redo them constantly, but unfortunately I lost two of them. That and the zipper quality is just "OK". Otherwise it does the job, just that the manufacture cut some small corners to obviously save a few cents...

Got the backpack in the standard shipping time. The leather is pretty nice, it's very similar to the leather on the real moccasin shoes (such as Minnetonka Moccasins). The leather pulltabs for the zippers are the same material and can be taken off if wanted. After using it for a semester in college and have lugging around 20+ lbs of books, laptop and cables, it has held up very well. I'd suggest this backpack if it's the style you're looking for compared to it's Jansport competitor.

JanSport Superbreak Colorblock Classics Series Daypack

Be careful to always check the backpack capacity when ordering online. 1550 cu inches is a medium capacity and may not function well for anyone past the 6th grade, but it's perfect for my 3rd grader.

On to the product. When I opened the box, my first impression of this item was not good at all. I'll break this down into the different parts of the backpack:

Material: The material is much thinner than I expected. I have my doubts on whether it will hold up over time.

Sturdiness: I also was unhappy that there was no type of support on/in the base of the bag. That and the flimsy material result in the bag constantly falling over unless it's packed full of books. It certainly won't stand on its own when empty either, unless stuffed full of tissues (like the impression the product page image gives).

Padding: The padding is another poor spot for me. The foam in the straps is pretty firm and I'm not sure if you wouldn't be just as good without it altogether. The padding on the back of the bag doesn't even run the width of the bag! If you look at the product images, the pad stops where the straps are (about 2" from the sides), so if you carry the pack over one shoulder you'll most likely have books poking you.

Construction/Design: The stitching and zipper on the bag are it's only redeeming qualities for me. The nylon zippers are pretty beefy and probably the same used on more expensive JanSport products. There are NO additional pockets other than the large one on the front. This definitely limits your ability to keep things organized.

Value: Poor. This isn't what I would expect from a JanSport product. I paid $28 for the purple bag for my son. There were a few other colors a little less expensive, but that's about the average price and as usual, Amazon had the best price. This replaced a 2 yr old Transformers backpack that frankly was better made and purchased at a discount brick and mortar for half the price. Whether or not it lasts as long remains to be seen. The only reason I've given it at least 2 stars is because it hasn't been tested yet. I will post an update after the bag has some miles on it.

All of my kids have used Jansport backpacks for years. They are great, durable and light weight. I would say this size is good for up to 6th or 7th grade. Although my 8th grader crams in alot and has maxed out it's capacity and it is still going strong. I've never had to use Jansport's lifetime warranty. Cute backpacks too!
