I ordered one of these "used" backpacks thinking I would have some light sewing to do or repairing or washing to do. I mainly ordered this backpack for work. After it arrived, I was pretty blown away! The backpack exterior was in immaculate condition. There would be no way for anyone to know it is a "used" backpack. The ONLY defect I found was there is a small repairable tear on one of the inside pockets. All the backpacks are different, so theres no telling if you will be so lucky, but based on the other reviews, you most likely will get a top quality backpack!

The pack itself is about medium sized, good for one or two days of backpacking materials, or for use as a day pack. The MARPAT design is really eye catching. Not a ton of zippers or pockets, just a basic pack, but perfect for minimalists who don't want a bunch of pockets. There is one small drain hole on the underside of the pack. The shoulder straps are just cushy enough and not too wide at all. Lots of easily adjustable straps for maximum confort. I would say if you like the looks and design of this backpack, it is a GREAT deal! Great backpack! Mine didn't ship folded.

Okay so let me start off by saying I am NOT a Marine but I give my upmost respect to those guys & I have a couple friends & family members serving the corps. I LOVE this pack !! The marpat camo looks great & looks exactly like the pictures. The pack came with tan colored heavy plastic buckles instead of the black metal arc'teryx shown on the pictures, (I'm sure they replaced them due to defects on the originals) has a small hole inside the main pocket & the main compartment is also a little sandy & dirty (which is fine for me because it adds to the authenticity ! ) this is the REAL DEAL USMC issue pack. Made from cordura 725 denier fabric. My ONLY complaint was the matter of shipping, my pack took a while to get to me & when I finally got it, it came in a small box & I wasn't sure what it was until I opened it & found my backpack folded inside of it. (the backpack has a plastic back support (removable) that bent a little bit & now my pack kind of leans. Otherwise this is an amazing backpack that I'm sure will last me a lifetime !
