This is a nice backpack, comfortable, fully adjustable, and good for cycling with. My only problem is that from the reviews I read, I expected it to be larger than it is. It's a good size for an active day, but if you are out shopping you will quickly run out of room. In hindsight, I should have purchased something larger for my needs
I love this backpack! I bought it for my 2 year old, so I didnt want too big of a backpack, this one is the perfect size for her! And the side pockets fit her drink in them! Shipping was fast and easy!
When I first ordered it I was worried that it wouldn't fit my 17" laptop, or would look different than the pictures. It fit my laptop with plenty of room to spare. It seems very tough. Also, it has a headphone jack that connects from the inside of the bag to the outside. It doesn't change the volume or pulse your Ipod from the headset when you hook it in. Even with a 17" laptop I had room for plenty of books. I hope that this helps feel the details that are missing from the description above.
It's not very big, so don't expect to carry anything large inside. But it's comfortable, doesn't feel in the way, and the pockets are easy to access when the bag is shouldered. I bought this to carry misc hunting items while wading in waist deep water.

Great backpack, sturdy design and my three year old loves it. She uses it for carrying her stuff to ballet class. But she also uses it for pre-school on show and tell days. So far, of all the backpacks, we have had this is the best quality.

I have been purchasing Orvis Gear since 1981. This sling pack caught me off guard in how amazingly usable it is. It holds what a small vest might hold but easily moves front or back as needed. I love the idea of having a small pack on your back not hanging heavy as a vest does after hours. I supplemented this Sling Pack (although I also store this in my Sling Pack) with a Loon Lanyard to hold tippet, and a few tools and find that all but the most complicated fishing trips that I can pack all I need in this Sling Pack. This is not a pack for someone who wants to pack 20 pounds of gear, but for someone willing to carry two fly boxes, some tools, and other essentials, this Sling is for you. The material is very high quality and the zippers and straps are excellent. I would give this a 10+ and it even suprised my critical nature. Worth the money!
I was looking for a mini-back pack I could throw my iPad in when I went for a bike ride. I did not want a lot of space just something that is secure and comfortable. You get what you pay for. The construction is very basic and the materials are not what I would call quality. It is okay but I did not like the feel and the materials so it has sat in the corner collecting dust. Perhaps okay for young children who don't require anything special.
Backpack is great for travel. Cuts down on time in TSA line! Highly recommended! No hassling from any TSA member in the 8 airports I've been at so far. *thumbs up*
I bought this product to put my Teva Men's Churn Performance Water Shoes in after they're wet, to avoid getting anything else wet and/or muddy as the case may be. The Mud Box works well for this function, and when zipped closed it holds the moisture inside. It is lined with a "tough hydro-tech TPU material" to keep water and mud inside and resist it leaking through, and the top has a "link-seal mesh." Essentially the top is plastic on the inside and netting on the outside. I don't know what purpose the outside netting serves, but regardless the Mud Box keeps water and mud inside of it. The handle on top makes it easy to grab and carry, making it simple for me to carry my shoes without having to hold them separately. For comparison purposes, I have found that the small Mud Box is exactly the right length and width for my size 13 water shoes to be packed comfortably in it. They are not loose and bouncing around and they are not hard to put in. There is about a 1.5-inch depth left with the shoes in it. If you are using this for your clothes or gear then that should give you an idea of the capacity of it. Because the Mud Box is lightweight, it essentially weighs as much as what you put in it as you carry it around. Overall if you need an easy-to-carry container that won't leak for your wet, muddy, or dirty clothes or gear when you're in the field, the Eagle Creek Pack-It Mud Box is a good item to try out. I'll admit that I expected it to be small, but it is a little smaller than I expected it to be. It is still a nice bag though, it won't let me carry too much at a time which I kind of need since I can't really care much weight. I love the design, in the picture it looks too splotchy and kind of disorienting, it is in fact softer and not so intense that it will give me a headache like I feared it might. The fabric feels sturdy, now I just need to break this baby in.
