Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--BLACK
His previous bag was far to large and weighed to much even empty, so we began looking for something else.
We were very surprised at the number of pockets and compartments that this bag has to offer! It holds a ton of supplies!
Back compartment has one zipper area and one mesh, middle compartment has a mesh and a cloth pocket-minus a zipper, the front lower one has several small pockets for pens, lights, tools, lighter starters, surgical scissors, and many many other things. In this one bag I can hold everything needed to survive for a week. This includes emergency blankets, tents, sleeping bag, bug off, toothbrush (&paste), deodorant, duck-tape, multi-tool, flashlight, batteries, first-aid kit galore, compass, poncho, lightsticks, wire, paracord 50ft, water purification tablets and filtration, canteen, shave kit, fishing supplies, flares, more medical supplies, 100 rounds of 45 shells, 45 glock, dried food, binoculars, energy bars, and several other things I'm sure I forgot. This is of a maneuverable size and weight. Highly recommend!!I bought this because of it's smaller size and it does not scream military. It looks like a simple black backpack with a military flavor. While it appears to have been made in China, I can't complain about the quality. I've intentionally abused it without any problems. It makes a great weekend bag or smallish bug-out-bag. I'm loading it with equipment and taking short hikes to help me lose weight and to give me an idea on what I need for a real hike through the mountains. I'm guessing it holds about 1600 cubic inches which is more than enough for a minimalist hiker. The top outside pocket fits my 600ml cook kit perfectly and the large pocket holds my hammock, tarp and sleeping bag with a little bit of room to spare. The middle pocket would easily hold a change of lightweight clothes and the larger outside pocket holds a small water filter with plenty of room left over for other items.
The molle design allows you to attach accessory pouches to the pack. I chose to add a couple of army canteens, but I found that I needed a tie-down strap to secure them in place, otherwise they would move back and forth as I walked causing me problems as they shifted. Once strapped down, the extra 5 pounds of water and bottles rode very well. My loaded pack weighs in at about 20 pounds and it rides very well on my back.
The belt does help, but it really is a minimalist style belt. It appears to be almost a design afterthought.
My only complaint is that I found the exact same pack at a local surplus store for less (where I bought the canteens).

I ordered this bag based on the reviews, everyone seemed to like it, as well as do I. The Bag itself is a great bag compatiable with the Molle System, and will hold plenty of items. The bag however is about half the size that it appears in the picture. It looks more like a kids bag. But I have not had any problems with the bag so far. Its probably gonna be a great 2day pack but no more.Read Best Reviews of Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--BLACK Here
I really liked his Assault pack, It worked well for me. Up until the right strap broke. It hasn't even been 30 days. Pretty disappointed.Want Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack--BLACK Discount?
I have had the bag for less than six months, and it has started to fall apart. I use it for my small laptop and take it to work everyday, so although it gets used everyday, it would say it's lite use. About a month ago, one of the plastic straps broke. Then today the entire side of the bag (top to bottom) ripped open.Although I liked it in the beginning, I have to say it's junk.

High Sierra Burnout Backpack
Pros:
everything fits! With room to spare
Seems pretty weather resistant. I've been caught in some serious rain showers and all my valuables made it home fine.
The padding on the shoulders is very comfortable so as long as you can lift the weight you wont hurt your shoulders
There is lots of pockets to organize everything
The laptop pocket easily fits my laptop and I feel that its secure and doesn't bounce around a lot
The quality so far is great! No loose material or signs of wear
Lots of places to attach keychains or buttons to make it yours if your'e worried about such things
Cons:
It can get very heavy (not really the bags fault just how much stuff can fit)
I have the blue one and, in the photo, the mesh parts look grey but the entire back pack is the same blue color.
I think it looks a little big when I wear it but I would rather have everything I need then look like a model :P
Over all this backpack was the right choice for me. Its not the cutest thing in the world but it gets the job done with security and quality. And all my buttons make it mine!New backpack for 6' 9th grade son. Carries lots of books all day. Good padding & support. Attractive. Very happy with it.

The North Face Terra 65
I guess I will be the first to review this item. I want to go over in detail on the extremities I put this backpack through and what I have planned for the future with this pack.
I went on a 2 day hike with my father-in-law up the Estrella mountain in Phoenix, AZ. The mountain peak is over 4500 ft in elevation and base starts at just around 1100 ft. I purchased this backpack specifically for this trip and I am glad to say I will be using this backpack more in the future. I don't take hiking lightly and this backpack held up to my specs. If you are interested in the conditions I put this backpack through than read the next paragraph. If not than skip to the pros and cons below:
As previously stated my father-in-law and I went on a hike that was around 3500 ft change in elevation. We were in the dead middle of the desert hiking this mountain. There are no streams, rivers, or lakes nearby. We had to carry everything from water, rope, tent, sleeping bag, weapons (rattle snakes, coyotes, mountains lions, etc), change of clothes, food, etc. . The trip was routed for around 12-13 miles in total hike, 45 lbs packs (each), and all rocky terrain. This backpack has some pros and cons I would like to cover. This backpack was placed on the rocks and was pressed against the mountain as we were resting.
Pros:
Great Padding
Great back support
Great hip strap
Great chest strap
A lot of space
Lightweight
A lot of options for adjustments to get comfortable
Solid and reliable material
Cons:
It would be nice to have quick access pockets on the hip pads
The mesh material to hold water bottles on the sides of the backpack do not work well if the backpack is full
The storage area for the water reservoir (camelback) is to low and serves no point as the hook for the camelback sits up much higher. (It does work well for back up camelbacks to be stored).
I gave this product 4 stars and would suggest this product to anyone. I enjoy using this backpack and I am soon going to be using this backpack on my trip down to the bottom of the grand canyon. I have no fear that this backpack will do me great justice. After living/working in Africa, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Central America and, of course, the U.S, having kit that I can rely upon, to function in the best and worst of conditions, is essential. This pack is CAVERNOUS, and holds everything I need for 5-7 days in "the bush", it customizes to my frame easily (5'8" 79kg), dries quickly, and with a little water proofing, keeps things relatively dry. The side zipper is good for access, but not great, and the sleeping bag compartment can hold a blanket NOT a sleeping bag just FYI. That being said, if the zippers were a little heavier, like REI puts on most of their packs, I'd give this bag 5 stars. It's light, strong, durable and worth every penny regardless of how serious/recreational the user might be.

I just returned from a two day hiking/backpacking trip and the pack preformed great. It's well padded and it had plenty of room for everything that I had with me. I especially liked the stretchy pouch on the outside of the pack. I was able to stuff it full of a lot of extras I needed to keep handy.this back pack first of all is simply amazing and highly customizible so no matter if you are 11 or 42 this back pack will fit with alittle ajusting and another thing is theres no problem with the waterbottle holder and no problem with the camelback area it is a great backpack to have for the price and it is also very cofortable and very durable so if you are contiplating on what backpack to buy this is the obvious choice i hope this review was helpful and enjoy your new terra 65 by tnfTuesday, February 18, 2014
15" - 15.4" Laptop Notebook Sleeve Case for Fujitsu, Samsung, Dell, Acer, ASUS Eee PC, Gateway, HP,
I especially liked the reviews that gave exact sizes of the laptops being used because it is hard to tell if something will fit by just being given the screen size. As an example; my laptop is listed as a 15.6" screen and this sleeve is listed for 15" to 15.4" screen. A small difference to be sure but depending on the screen configuration, wide screen, etc., this can make a difference. My laptop measures exactly 14 5/8" x 9 3/4" x 1 5/8" and this sleeve fits it perfectly. The top of the machine comes just flush with the top of the sleeve (9 3/4") so when closing the flap it is completely covered. The specs on this sleeve indicate it is 12" high; it is not, it is 10". There is a lot of stretch in the material and for me little of it was needed. All that happened when I inserted the machine was for the wrinkles to disappear from the material. I would say that if your machine is a bit bigger in width (height over 10" may leave some of your machine above the sleeve but it would, for the most part, be protected by the flap.) there is more than adequate give to accomodate it.
The only feature of this sleeve that gave me pause was the large flap. To properly secure the flap a belt like feature is attached to the sleeve that the flap is drawn through. (Not clearly visible in the photos provided for this item) It actually resembles a portfolio type of arrangement and is not unattractive. I originally felt that it was just another step needed in securing the laptop that I didn't, necessarily, want to be bothered with. Upon further reflection I find that this is probably not a big deal and on a positive note, the flap is long enough, when closed, to almost cover the entire side of the sleeve with an additional layer of protection. So, on one side of your machine the flap provides double protection.
For the modest price of less than $10 I don't think you can ask for any more from a neoprene sleeve. The materials and workmanship seem quite good. Go for it.I bought this case because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a sleeve for my laptop. When I received it I was pretty impressed and thought it would last a long time. After using fairly often for about six months, the seams have started to rip. Everything else appears to be holding up pretty well. Decent product, but bad sewing/stitching.This notebook sleeve fits my 15.5" Widescreen Vaio nearly perfect.
No zippers, snaps, hook and loop tape, etc. anywhere to be found; Completely smooth and soft.
It smells like a new pair of running shoes.
In closing, the smell fades quickly and I know this will not scratch or harm my pc in any way. It protects and has great price to boot. Buy it if you need a sleeve.

Speedo Performance Medium Duffle
Buy Speedo Performance Medium Duffle Now
Lots of space, significantly cheaper (at the time of purchase) than the smaller Speedo Performance bag. I don't have any complaints. I really like the two side compartments there is mesh on the sides of the bag so you can put wet stuff in them. One compartment is really long, so I put my fins/boots in it. I use the smaller compartment for my suit, though there is plenty more space for other wet stuff. Everything in the middle stays dry. The rubber bottom is a nice touch the benches in the locker room at the natatorium are always wet, so being able to put the bag down on the bench without having to wipe it down with my towel is great. Definitely worth the $27!My daughter has had this duffle for a over a year now and it's still in wonderful condition -and we've worked it hard! As a year-round swimmer, she carries it to practice 5 days a week and shoves it in a locker. She loves how it has a generous side pocket to throw her wet suit and other wet accessories in after workout. She uses a seperate bag (Speedo Mesh) for her fins, kickboard, pull bouy and paddles, so I can't comment on this duffle storing equipment, but to give you an idea of what we've stuffed it with for meets: 3 XL towels, extra suit, two suit pants, a few tshirts, cap, goggles, ipod, and shower accessories. And it zips up! I thought for sure we'd have loose stiching by now on the seams or a broken zipper but the bag looks great. The quality is what you expect from Speedo.Decent quality for the price, but watch out for the colors of the bags. What looked like a burned orange in the pictures ended up being flourecent orange in reality. Bag is just big enough to put paddle board and fins with the rest of the necessaties.Friday, October 4, 2013
