I'm very pleased with this bag. It has become my everyday bag because it organizes my things so well. The back wall easily holds a Nexus 7 and Kindle paperwhite. My Android smart phone fits easily in the RFID pocket and the other side pocket holds my reading glasses and pens. The main compartment is spacious. I have an old zipper pouch that holds loose items (lipstick, hand sanitizer, hand cream, etc.), and a large wallet that both fit with room to spare. How much room? On a recent event, I had all these items in this bag plus a full size DSLR camera with an 18-70mm lens--a snug fit, but there was still space to stuff little things if I had to. This little backpack is a workhorse. The Herringbone version looks fabulous.

I really researched to finally get this purse and its multiple benefits:

1.It is really secure, because of it smart zipper hook, slash proof shoulder straps and slash proof mesh that covers it under the exterior fabric.

2. The fabric (which is nice and elegant) could match both black or brown accessories.

3. Has a great internal distribution, an anti scam pocket, an external pocket for example to easily reach your phone or for handkerchiefs. Fits my iPad, water bottle wallet, mini umbrella and.

I love it! looks durable! my fingers are crossed.

I used the backpack for about a week before we travelled to Europe where we had been told pickpockets abound in some of the more touristy places. I often carry a purse-backpack and really enjoyed using it. But in the end I opted for a packsafe purse that I could wear across my body and not have to take off when I paid for something (which I thought would be a vulnerability if there were purse thieves around!) I still like the backpack and plan to continue to use it for everyday at home.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to Italy because I plan to hold on to my goodies.

I figure that it will take some effort to get inside because of the clever zippers and

special mesh in the front panel. The straps have thin steel cables inside and lock so

that should also be a good deterrent. Just try to cut and run you pesky devils.

High Sierra Water Bottle Sport Duffel

I use this bag to put my gym clothes and shoes in so I can hit the gym on the way home from work. It would fit a towel and shower kit. I like the water bottle holder on the outside I keep my refillable water bottle there so I always have a water bottle at the gym. The separate shoe pocket is great, but it does fill some of the inside of the bag so it does not give you any extra space. It does give you a place to put your shoes so they will not touch your clothes and get them dirty. The handle on one end of the bag makes it easy to slide in and out of the storage box at my gym. Small enough so it fits nicely on the floorboard of my car behind the driver/passenger seat. Two small pockets on one side are great for keys, cell phone, and mp3 player. Happy with my new gym bag.

Five stars... not perfect, but worth five stars. What is not perfect about this...you say??? The shoes (in my case) need to be inserted before the contents of the bag, otherwise the shoes are a pain to get in. I have adapted and the bag is great. Looks good, holds what I need (including a water bottle) and seems to be made very well.

Updated 2013-02-09: I contacted High Sierra shortly after writing the original review. A new bag arrived after a few weeks. The replacement has held up well since, and the zipper is still attached. I'm giving it 4 stars (up from 3 originally) as a result. Maybe I just got unlucky the first time. Either way, High Sierra did the right thing.

Original Title: Good while it lasted

Bought one of these in a retail travel store. The 'U' shape opening makes it very easy to access the main compartment and get things in/out. Mine saw light duty ~3x week as a gym bag after work and the roughly monthly weekend trip. The zipper came off in less than a year which was very disapppointing. Otherwise, the bag held up very well.

Considering the price of this bag, I was a bit iffy. It seemed a bit cheap for something that would be holding my heavy textbooks and the worst thing that could happen would be for it to split while I'm walking around campus.

I've owned one for about 3months now and I'm considering getting another in a different color.

It's got an adjustable shoulder strap. It doesn't really have a padded strap like some bags, but I've never found that it dug into me like some bags do, even when I'm carrying my heaviest books.

It's a decent size. I usually just carry one book, binder, some pencils and a umbrella in it, but if I wanted to it could easily hold another book or two. I really only use the one giant bag portion but I believe it also has a smaller zipper portion perfect for wallets, mp3 players or pencils, as well as an outer pouch or two. The pain flap is magnetic buttoned closed but it stays shut.

It's durable. I haven't seen any holes or tears yet after 3 months of constant use daily. I'd feel comfortable putting my laptop in it if I wanted to.

It come in various colors. I got a brown one but there are plenty of colors to choose from, and for the price you could get two different ones for the price of a bag somewhere else.

Really I have yet to have a problem. It is exactly what I needed for college. I really am not a fan of backpacks at all. These are perfectly acceptable for guys and girls. I say buy it! I know I'm getting another one for sure!

My bag just arrived today. I bought mine in the color black. I couldn't believe the amount of space inside this bag! The soft material is very lightweight which keeps the shoulder strap from tugging on my shoulder (Unlike my old messenger bag which was a thicker sturdy material but was really heavy on the shoulder, especially when carrying contents inside). The downside of this bag being lightweight material is that it doesn't stand up on it's own when you put it down. You have to lean it against something or lay it down. But who cares. It has two zipper compartments inside, one small and the other large. Also, it has slim cellphone/cigarette pockets ON BOTH ENDS OF THE BAG. Now that's cool. Overall, I'm happy with it.

in some ways I love this bag, and in other ways....I quite DISlike this bag.

Why I love it: The size is nice, it fits my school books and (mostly) fits my 17" laptop along with those necessary books. The strap for holding the bag is nice and soft, it doesn't require an extra pad in order to keep it comfortable while toting it around. The magnetic buttons to keep it shut are also quite useful and very nice.

The reasons I dislike it: While carrying it I've noticed that one of the metal clasps that connects the bag and the strap has a tendency to shift, this isn't detrimental to the bag yet so it's generally only a minor annoyance to me. The bag while able to fit my 17" laptop also however leaves a slight bit exposed to air, this is only problematic while it is raining and I have to take measures to ensure my laptop isn't exposed to the water. Also this bag should NOT be washed in a washing machine, I did so since mine is black and DOES come needs cleaning, and unfortunately got many loose threads around the bag's closing flap, I've since had to trim these excess threads and simply HOPE it doesn't cause utter failure of the bags structure.

Overall, I DO like this bag, the feel is nice, but for my heavy-duty needs I probably should have purchased another. If your needs are light and you don't have a need to wash this bag in a washing machine, I would definetly recommend this bag. However if you're a student like me with a need to carry a large load, especially a rather large electronic device, I would recommend another bag for use.

Again I want to emphasize: I DO like this bag, it's comfortable and useful.

But for heavy duty use, please browse all your options (and reviews) thoroughly.

High Sierra Long Trail 90 Suspension Pack

So I just got done living out of this bag for a month. It is excellent for the following reasons:

1) It fits soo much stuff.

2) It is highly adjustable to fit most backs.

3) It can tighten down when not filled.

4) I feel that was very well thought-out, with lots of options.

5) There are something like a dozen individual pockets and compartments.

6) IT COST ONE-THIRD THE PRICE OF THE OTHER PACKS I WAS CONSIDERING!

**Only thing to keep in mind with this pack is that it is designed for larger people! I wear size 36 shorts, and I could barely tighten the hip strap down enough. That means if you regularly wear size 34 or smaller...unfortunately this pack is not for you.**

I'm 6'4" and about 290lbs, not very fit, but that's why I'm hiking. Anyway, it's a great pack and it fits me well. The waist belt won't close tighter than about 36", unfortunately it's not a problem for me.

The pack can hold a good deal of weight comfortably, which is good since I tend to err on the side of carrying too much. There is a nice rain cover that is attached under the pack which allows you to keep your load dry. There is a hydration sleeve, but it's huge, it has one hook so it's made for camelbak style single hanging point bladders, not the kind with two hanging holes.

If you are a small person don't buy this. If you are an ultra lite hiker or minimalist this isn't the pack for you, it's heavy, above 6lbs when empty.

i have used this pack twice now for long hikes and overnight camping out in the colorado rockies. my girlfriend got the explorer 55 and fits her perfect, so being 6'5" i went with the larger pack. her pack fits me and the long trail 90 fits me too. the 90 has more pockets on the outside than the 55, and holds a ton more stuff, which makes it a lot heavier. i haven't used the water reservoir pocket yet except to put my flashlight in, not sure if all reservoirs will fit or not. had a sqeaking issue, but then just kept readjusting it while hiking and it went away. the zippers seem strong so far and the material is surprisingly stronger than it looks. both of the packs are super adjustable, so i think it really must come down to how much can you haul and how much do you WANT to haul. you can pretty much take the whole campsite in the 90, but it will weigh as much as the mountain youre hiking...

I bought this pack back in June to use in the mountains of CO. I purchased it to do some overnight backpacking excursions, and it has done quite well. I bring a lot of gear, and the pack has been big enough...so far. I do see potential issues with long trips, say over 3 or 4 nights or so. I have not stayed out that long yet, and can't truly speak to that. I am 6' 5" tall, and about 250 lbs, so the larger size was welcome, and the main reason for buying it. My size brings up another factor that I had not thought of, until recently. If you are a big person, like me, then guess what....all of your gear is bigger too. I use a Big Agnes -20 degree bag, and it takes over half of the space in the main compartment. It will flat not fit in the intended bag compartment, at all. I even have it in a nice 2 way compression bag, and it is still pretty large, compared to the size of a normal sized person's bag. I can say this, I carry a good amount of weight, around 60 lbs or so, and this pack does very well!! When carrying heavier loads, the shoulder strap buckles will slip a little, and require periodic adjustment. I have not figured out if this was because I'm trying to keep them too tight, or what, but either way, I wanted to bring it up.

Stats: 6'2", 175 lbs, 30 inch waist

I was hesitant at getting this at first because of all the reviews claiming it wouldn't fit those with anything less than a 36 inch waist but I really needed a bigger pack to lug around my Teton XXL sleeping bag. Now I don't know if the hip belt design has changed or if the other reviewers have a misunderstanding on where the hip belt is supposed to sit. The pack I ordered, however, definitely cinches down centered on my hip bones/iliac crest with room to tighten it down even more on someone thinner.

This pack isn't much wider than a smaller 75 liter pack. My torso is still wider than the pack itself. If I step in front of a mirror I cannot see the sides of the pack. At 6'2" the max height setting on this bag is still too tall for me and being of Mongolian descent I'm nearly all torso. So unless you're an extreme outlier in height this pack will do the trick.

The sleeping bag compartment is nearly ideal. It doesn't fit my XXL without opening the compartment top but since its size is absurd that was expected. It does allow for bottom loading however, a big plus, instead of having to try and squeeze it through the top. Anything smaller than this:

TETON Sports Celsius XXL -18 Degree C / 0 Degree F Flannel Lined Sleeping Bag (90"x 39")

will almost certainly fit within the independent compartment.

Straps, zippers, and parts are all solid, the zipper are especially hefty. Bladder reservoir is enormous, might even be too big. It could easily fit a 6+ liter bladder. Comes with all the standard outside attachment hooks and holds for exterior gear.

This pack is definitely for those who hate to leave anything behind, need to carry as much booze and food as physically possible, or just have weaker friends. Highly recommended.

I got this version over the pro model because its a bit smaller. It is small. It fits my nikon d50, 70-210 lens and some filters in the bottom pocket just fine. The top large compartment has ample space for flashes, a sweater, or lunch, what ever you may need on a given day hike. And the top soft compartment for your phone and wallet is very nice. The rain bag that hides away in the bottom is nice, but should have a better way to tighten it onto the bag. It was pulled off fairly easily by passing sticks and bushes when we were passing through them in the rain. A little frustrating but a very minor problem. The compartment for the hydration pack has room enough for my 3 L camelbak bladder, which is very nice.

I went hiking along a shore, a HUGE wave slammed us, though I was able to hold onto the rocks just fine, I was certain my camera had gone to expensive gear heaven. Much to my pleasure the construction of this bag and its water resistance kept my camera and lenses in pristine shape. Instantly worth every penny. Now if I could only find my slippers that were swept away in the wave.

Overall, this pack is great. It's about the same size as my camelback MULE and will accept the 100 oz reservoir from my camelback. The pack fits nicely and is comfortable to mountain bike or hike with all day long. The camera compartment is big enough to hold my Canon T2i with 24-105 lens attached and the hood reversed or removed. Any lens bigger will not comfortably fit. Side pockets hold the cases, filters, and other odds and ends (e.g. extra batteries, memory cards). The upper pouches contain enough room for some food, a spare tube, essential mountain biking tools, and a lightweight jacket.

My gripe:

The camera compartment contains a zipper, allowing you to unzip the divider which separates the lower camera compartment from the upper compartment. When the divider is unzipped, you have a pack with one large compartment. However, when the compartment is zipped, as I always keep it, the natural place for the zipper handle is right beneath the battery pack of my camera! There is NO cloth sleeve for the zipper handle. No matter how I arrange the camera in the compartment, the metal zipper handle would be able to rub up against the camera body not something to be ignored if you're going to be hiking or biking with this pack on. I wrapped a thick piece of fabric around the zipper handle to protect my camera body, but for this pack's price and photo-specific purpose, I feel I shouldn't have to do this. Fortunately, the rest of the camera compartment is well thought out.

There have been enough reviews of this backpack that I don't need to add much, but to say it's heavier than the Tenba and a few shades darker than the photo leads you to think. I'm carrying a D90, SB600 flash, 55-300mm f3.5-5.6, 17-50mm f2.8, and 35mm prime lenses, plus a few little accessories and sometimes monoor tri-pod to outdoor events and on walks through woods. Although there is room, I appreciate the way it's organized (it's smart to have side access and to compartmentalize top from bottom), and like the comfort (it has a curved back and well padded straps), I believe I'll need to exchange this pack for one that is lighter in weight and color. When the sun beats down on your pack from March to November, you realize pretty quickly that you have to have light tan! Hope this review was helpful!

I primarily will use this for hikes 4 hours or less. Took this out for the first time yesterday, and was very impressed. My camera kit fits nicely, is secure, and easy to access (though it is a smaller kit as I have a Sony Nex 5), and there are plenty of pockets/space for everything a hiker needs to bring along. I am really size conscious with pack's, and love all of the thought that went into designing a high end camera/activity pack. There are more pockets to store stuff in than the images of this product lead on...

The reasons this didn't get 5 stars:

-The hydration pack compartment seems like an afterthought. Both 100 & 70 ounce camelbak's fit, but it's not as seamless, which one would expect in a hybrid pack. I actually bought a 70 ounce osprey bladder specifically for this pack as those bladders have a rigid, contoured back to them. With this pack you really feel the camelbak on your back more than other, hiking specific packs because the fit is so tight.

-The verdict is still out on comfort. This definitely felt 'different' while I was carrying it around. It may just take getting used to as I have used camelbak packs for years, but my upper back felt a bit uncomfortable and was a little sore after the hike. Again, this could just be due to using a pack with different back padding then I'm used to, plus some extra weight. Also, I'm going to try hiking without a bladder next time to see if the bladder aids the discomfort.

-When stored in the backpack it does take a few seconds longer to access the camera than I would like. I have to quickly remover the sternum & torso straps, swing the pack over, and pull out the camera. Yes, this only takes 5 seconds...but I wish I could just reach over, unzip the compartment, and grab the camera.

I did a lot of research on different hiking backpacks, and with this product it seems like with a few minor adjustments this pack will be unbeatable. But Clik Elite came close!

I've been looking for a day hike pack, the main purpose of which would be to protect my DSLR gear. My Canon T1i with the 18-55 attached, the 55-250 telescopic, and 55mm fixed (small lens) were crammed in there. I felt like the camera body was going to get scratched every time I put it in/took it out. I also couldn't configure it to a point where I didn't feel that the camera body was going to just fall out when I unzipped without it being very difficult to get out of the bag. The other complaint I had was that the water sleeve pocket with padding (the part that would be flush against your back) was very hard and curved in toward my back, making it very uncomfortable on my upper back. I may have a somewhat bony back, but it would have taken a lot softer padding to make it comfortable. So it's going back.. and my search continues.

High Sierra Tech Series 59205 Hawk 45 Internal Frame Pack

Been traveling the world for 7 months with this pack, so I feel I can write an accurate review now. I was attracted by the light weight and the price, and I haven't regretted the purchase. It has held up well despite getting tossed around a lot, used as a seat on the floor of many a train or bus, or squished into overhead storage bins. No seams have come apart, but the little plastic toggles at the end of every cinch-strap disappeared within the first month. No loss, though...simply knotted the loose ends together. It's a "stovepipe" style bag, meaning whatever's on the bottom will be buried unless it's unpacked or you go up through the zippered sleeping bag compartment. Many people prefer a side-zip style because of this, but I tend to keep my more valuable items down there so they're hard to get at by sticky-fingered types on packed busses and whatnot. The included rain cover works well in all but the most torrential downpours, and even then only the top of the backrest gets wet. I've found the benefits of the arched mesh "Air Flow" back cooling design to be negligible; in hot, tropical countries like here in Sri Lanka your back is going to get sweaty no matter what the mesh still presses onto your clothes the same as a normal pack would and there isn't much air flowing through there. One nice side effect is that if you pack the bag with your heavy gear down at the bottom, the arched frame keeps most of the weight on your hips and off of your shoulders. The shoulder straps aren't adjustable, but they've been comfortable on my 6'3", medium sized frame. Mesh elastic side pockets can each hold big 1.5L water bottles with ease. Hidden zippered pocket under the top makes for a nice place to stash journals, souvenirs and such. The 45L is small enough to be allowed as carry-on baggage on every flight I've taken it on through a wide variety of airlines (so long as you keep the contents to under 11 kilos you won't even have to check it in). Souvenir patches glue tightly to the nylon fabric, but the glue doesn't permeate through to the inside. Doesn't sound like much, but previous bags were a pain to try to get patches to adhere to without sewing them on. Only other complaint would be that the back rails aren't adjustable like in higher-end packs, meaning even if you're packed lightly, the bag is always the same height; the upper pocket just droops down to however high your gear is when you buckle it closed. I chose a bag in the gray and burnt-orange color, and it's held up well and resists looking dirty despite the fact it must be filthy. Much more expensive bags by Deuter look really similar but perform the same from what I've heard. All and all a nice pack for the cheap price. If mine fails as I continue along on this trip you'll be the first to know!

This pack is absolutely terrific. Just used on a trip from Georgia to Olympic Park, Washington. Carried onto the airplane no problem. Stows overhead easily. Plenty of room and fully adjustable. The mesh back was a key issue for me and it works great. Kept my back comfortable and cooler than with my older packs.

The price is great compared to most other bags with same size and features. I paid $85 on amazon (with Prime). I had been planning a trip to climb Kilimanjaro and needed my first bag. The bag came and i worried it maybe too small. However, so long as you pack each light, i was able to pack a weeks worth of clothes and gear (around 30 lbs). I did not need to carry food and cooking supplies. I was also able to use this as my carry-on without problems. the camel-back pocket works great and has a hose hole on both sides. The bag could use an extra pocket on both sides just for convenience for smaller supplies and quicker access, but is very useful with the few it does have. The built in rain cover is plenty big and durable even with extras strapped outside the bag. The straps and frame are perfectly comfortable for 30lbs and 5-15 hrs a day. The bag made it through the 2 week trip with heavy usage with minimal wear and tear. I did notice a few seams starting to pull apart once i was home and unpacking but nothing that was even close to something i would be worried about yet or even while on the trail. The most important stitches and seams were fine.

This was what I expected and a well thought out pack, good quality. One flaw, the handle on the front compartment had missed stitching and I will have to have someone stitch the under side material where the stitching was missed, otherwise a great pack. Quality control needs to be checked by the manufacturer. Other wise would be 5 star.

Holds 2 changes of clothing, towel, water bottle, a small snack and a slim picture book I think it could hold letter sized paper, but the corners of an A4 sheet would probably get mussed.

Came with tags as described. Strong chemical smell of plastic when opened, but that went away after a day or two. My daughter's favorite.

The bag is just the right size and seems durable. The checkpoint-friendly feature means the bag opens like a clamshell and lies flat on an airport scanbelt. This is a super convenient timesaver for those of us who travel. It means one less thing I've to hunt down after the TSA scanning. Two things I think are neccesities, but were just skipped a cell phone pocket on the shoulder strap; a sleeve on the back near the bottom to slip the backpack onto a rolling luggage handle. There is a strap on the top for this purpose, but the backpack isn't secure when attached and moves off the luggage.

I bought this from Costco.com. Both the laptop and the separate folder compartments are a good size. The small pocket on top is great for keys, ipod, phone, etc. I like the side pockets for a water bottle and umbrella. It is fairly comfortable when fully loaded (heavy!). I travel a lot and the checkpoint friendly feature is a huge positive.

Cons -

Like another review, it would be nice to have a way to attach to a roller suitcase and a phone/ipod pouch on the strap.

It is a bit big to fit under some airline seats. (doesn't help that I fill it).

My main dislike is that the handle on top broke after I had it for about 4 months. I am working with Wenger on a replacement now. I hope they come through on the lifetime warranty.

Update-They came through with a new backpack. The process was very simple. I just needed to provide the product codes, receipt, several pictures of what was broken, $10 for shipping and fill out a questionnaire. Once I pal pal-ed them the money, it arrived about a week later. I didn' have to return the old one and be w/out. Very happy with their service.

I am mixed that I got the same one with the checkpoint friendly feature (plus) but think that the handle is a design flaw (minus) and will have to go through this again.

Did lots of research before buying this one & thankfully the research has paid off with this bag. The quality & the make of the bag is simply awesome kudos to Swiss gear.

The best part of the bag is the laptop section where the padding is done very nicely & it fits my 15.6" 9 cell battery laptop very smoothly. All other sections of the bags are very well laid out & there is ample of space for files/books. The shoulder straps are also comfortable since at first I felt the bag itself might be heavy & along with all my stuff the shoulder straps would be a bit uncomfortable but it turned out to be pretty good.

I give a strong buy for this bag!!!

I have traveled extensively with this bag, and it's holding up very well with very little wear compared to my old Dell bag. The tsa friendly laptop compartment makes the security hassle a little less painful. Plenty of compartments keep me organized, and I know exactly where everything is. Wonderful bag, if I had to buy a replacement, I would buy the same bag again.

I think this bag is great. It's a lot easier on my back than the previous one I was carrying and I feel like my 15" mac book pro is safe and secure. The main drawback is I am very limited w/ the number of case books I can squeeze in along w/ binders. I'm working around it and figure I probably don't need to carry 3 case books on my back anyway. Also the little flap thing over the top of the laptop section is unnecessary and gets in the way. But it's a great purchase and I recommend.

EnteraLite Infinity Super-Mini Backpack for EnteraLite Feeding Pumps

This backpack, along with the enteral pump for which it is desinged (Enteralite Infinity) has completley made life with my G-tubed 1-year-old far more efficient and pleasant! As soon as my baby went mobile--and could escape his crib--his former enteral pump on an IV stand at his cribside was no longer a doable or safe option (he had the abilty to escape the distance his tubing allowed him, but not enough intellect to know NOT to!). After that, we tried solely bolous feed, but for more reasons than I can get into here, it wasn't the best all-the-time option for him, so we investigated better options and came up with the Entaralite Infinity pump which is lightweight and easily and efffictly mobilized with this backpack.

Here's why I love it:

1)It securely and dependably keeps his pump, feed bag, and exess tubing in place.

2)It's easy to get everything in place properly without fuss or struggle.

3)It's sized and engineered perfectly for even very young patients...about as soon as they're stable walkers, this backback is reasonable for them. My son weighes just 20 lbs, is 1 1/2 years old, and handles the filled backpack well. He wears it both while sleeping and at play, and it hinders neither. He can rough around on the playground just as easily and unbridled as any other kid his age. It is comfortable to him (I think he'd be quite opinionated about wearing it if it wasn't!), fastens easily and very securely. No matter how busy he is, no matter what he's doing (rolling, being upside-down, laying, running, etc!), it stays in place on his back without needing adjusted or fixed.

4)Surprisingly discreet! It doesn't scream medical paraphanalia. He gets a few compliments per errand run about his 'cute little backpack,' by strangers who seem to have no idea that it's a feeding pump (they often ask if he has toys or diapers or snackies in there...I suppose snackies is thereabouts accurate, though). Yeah, the end of the tubing inevitably peeks out a little slit and disappears under clothing a few inches later, but you're be AMAZED at how many people don't notice that. Bolous feeding in a restaurant gets you shy stares. Upon seeing him being bolous fed, the public seemed to identify him as a little guy to feel a little sorry for. The backpack surprisingly makes it much more secretive, because it looks like, well...just a backpack. Eventually neighbors asked why they see him so often with his backpack "Is it, like, his escutiry object or something?". They had no idea he was walking around with entaral equiptment. Makes it easier for him to be accepted as the fun, capable, busy liitle guy that he is, and not identified by his medical needs.

The ONLY complaint I have about it is although durable, the fabric gets a lot of fluffy little scuffy wispy strings pretty quickly, which makes it look more worn that it would look with a sturdier canvas. I assume that the upside is that this fabric used is somewhat easier to wipe clean in a pinch...not entirely but a bit less absorbant than your typical canvas backpack fabric, but I still think I'd prefer a bit sturder and wear-resistant yet still washable.

Overall? Love it, love it, love it, and I think my son agrees. He certianly prefers it by far over bolousing.

When we changed insurance a while back the new insurance company didn't cover our old feeding pump and switched us to the Enteralite Infinity pump and it came with the super mini backpack because our son was 4 months old (however we didn't start using the backpack right away). The backpack is perfectly sized for the pump and feeding bag. The shoulder straps are super cushioned and it does have a nice quality clip on the front to help keep the backpack on. We didn't start really using the backpack until our son started crawling and it definitely helped us out so we didn't have to push or carry his feeding pump around with him while he was cruising and he was able to start wearing it around 6 months of age and it didn't seem to really give him any issues with being able to move around.

With that being said; the material of the backpack itself is fairly cheap and does stain quite easily and this backpack doesn't hold up super well in the washing machine. If you do purchase this backpack I would suggest hand washing and hanging it up to dry or use a gentle, short cycle. The zipper on ours pulled apart on the main compartment and we were not able to fix or replace it because of how small this bag is and how it is assembled (we even tried taking it to a seamstress and we were told there was no way that they could fix it). The velcro that goes around the top of the feeding bag got weak over time and stopped supporting the weight of the bag so we started having more "no flow out" and "bag empty" alarms from the bag falling out of the velcro and the tubing becoming occluded. However, we where able to circumvent this issue by using the clip that is also attached at the top of the inside of the backpack to hold the feeding bag in place.

The picture on here doesn't show it but this backpack has two slits on either side of the smaller zipper compartment which allows you to pass the extension tubing through it. While this is nice for while the child is wearing the backpack it does make it a bit harder to take the backpack off the child because you have to disconnect the feeding tube, pull the extension out of the slit and then reconnect the child to continue feeding. We ended up just leaving the zipper unzipped enough to pass the extension tubing through there that way we could just pull the whole pump and feeding bag right out of the backpack without having to disconnect anything. The only other issue we has was the "chest clip" was so low on ours (or because our son was so small it just ended up really low) was that the chest clip would get caught underneath our son's gj tube and pull or get caught (neither of which seemed too comfortable).

All in all a decent backpack and definitely worth it if your insurance will pay for it; otherwise, you may be able to just do what we've done since our backpack fell apart. If your insurance will only cover one backpack like ours then we went to Babys R Us and found a child backpack harness for around $20. The one we found is just big enough to stick the pump and feeding bag and has the added bonus of being a harness so your child can walk around while you hold the harness or the tether strap can be removed so it is just a backpack.

When I found out that my baby"s pump had a back pack I was excited. It works really well for about 6 to 8 months then it starts to rip with tiny threads and then the whole back pack falls apart. My insurance has provided 3 so far but told it only covers 1. Otherwise its a great idea just not durable.

The North Face Terra 65

Hello Everyone,

I guess I will be the first to review this item. I want to go over in detail on the extremities I put this backpack through and what I have planned for the future with this pack.

I went on a 2 day hike with my father-in-law up the Estrella mountain in Phoenix, AZ. The mountain peak is over 4500 ft in elevation and base starts at just around 1100 ft. I purchased this backpack specifically for this trip and I am glad to say I will be using this backpack more in the future. I don't take hiking lightly and this backpack held up to my specs. If you are interested in the conditions I put this backpack through than read the next paragraph. If not than skip to the pros and cons below:

As previously stated my father-in-law and I went on a hike that was around 3500 ft change in elevation. We were in the dead middle of the desert hiking this mountain. There are no streams, rivers, or lakes nearby. We had to carry everything from water, rope, tent, sleeping bag, weapons (rattle snakes, coyotes, mountains lions, etc), change of clothes, food, etc. . The trip was routed for around 12-13 miles in total hike, 45 lbs packs (each), and all rocky terrain. This backpack has some pros and cons I would like to cover. This backpack was placed on the rocks and was pressed against the mountain as we were resting.

Pros:

Great Padding

Great back support

Great hip strap

Great chest strap

A lot of space

Lightweight

A lot of options for adjustments to get comfortable

Solid and reliable material

Cons:

It would be nice to have quick access pockets on the hip pads

The mesh material to hold water bottles on the sides of the backpack do not work well if the backpack is full

The storage area for the water reservoir (camelback) is to low and serves no point as the hook for the camelback sits up much higher. (It does work well for back up camelbacks to be stored).

I gave this product 4 stars and would suggest this product to anyone. I enjoy using this backpack and I am soon going to be using this backpack on my trip down to the bottom of the grand canyon. I have no fear that this backpack will do me great justice.

After living/working in Africa, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Central America and, of course, the U.S, having kit that I can rely upon, to function in the best and worst of conditions, is essential. This pack is CAVERNOUS, and holds everything I need for 5-7 days in "the bush", it customizes to my frame easily (5'8" 79kg), dries quickly, and with a little water proofing, keeps things relatively dry. The side zipper is good for access, but not great, and the sleeping bag compartment can hold a blanket NOT a sleeping bag just FYI. That being said, if the zippers were a little heavier, like REI puts on most of their packs, I'd give this bag 5 stars. It's light, strong, durable and worth every penny regardless of how serious/recreational the user might be.

I just returned from a two day hiking/backpacking trip and the pack preformed great. It's well padded and it had plenty of room for everything that I had with me. I especially liked the stretchy pouch on the outside of the pack. I was able to stuff it full of a lot of extras I needed to keep handy.

I bought this backpack to solve a professional dilemma. I am a relatively high ranking executive and have to attend meeting with people so senior that suit is a must for everyone. At the same time, I have over years developed a painful spinal condition that no longer allows me to carry briefcases with anything at all, let alone laptops. I need to spread the weight evenly over my back, hence a laptop backpack is a must.

99% of all backpacks were designed is a student or hipster style, and do look ridiculous with a suit. On the other side, leather backpacks all emulate 'cowboy' look again, not good with a suit. Some look executive but do not have two straps and cannot spread the weight evenly. This is one of the very few backpacks that is a backpack with all bells and whistles in the skin (hehe) of an executive briefcase.

I bought this backpack to have something that I would wear around on both straps on my back, take it off immediately before I enter the door, and everyone would take it for an executive leather briefcase. So far, this plan works smoothly, and I expect that this backpack will serve me 10 years or more. This kind of puts me in consent with the price I never paid before and might never pay again for a backpack.

Pictures both here and on official website do not show it, but the backpack has a legitimate laptop section inside. If fits Macbook Pro 15" well, 17 inch notebooks might already feel squeezed.

OGIO Willie Bag

This bag is just what I needed. Its a little on the small side which is what I wanted. It does have extra straps on front for a skateboard, but I don't use those. Has a pocket on one side for a good sized water bottle, but only one. The smaller pocket has pockets and flaps to help hold small things. Has only 1 zipper on the smaller outer part of the pack, so be sure to close it or stuff will fall out. Has a flat divider for a laptop in the main section. The design is a little odd but I like it since it stands out quickly from other peoples bags and I can grab it quickly when its mixed in with others. It has a cassette tape pattern under the other patterns, retro I guess. So far is very durable and fairly comfortable.

Love the bag and it came very quickly. I only wish the main storage space was a little bit bigger. But it's fine for now.
