My son is 19 months old and is very independent! He carries this on his back to daycare and it is the perfect size for him! So far the material seems sturdy and it has convienient pockets on either side for juice, cups, etc and a small pocket in the front with a zipper. Fits comfortably a change of clothes, extra diapers and a few other things. M son loves this and I would definetly recommend it!
