i got this bag to help when going grocery shopping in nyc. i wanted something that was durable and that i didn't have to worry about messes or spills (if they happened). the bag seems very well-made, and i'm sure the next time i go hiking or jump in a river, this bag will be great. it is kinda ugly, tho. just saying.
