When on vacation in Canada we saw briefcases like this one. At the time we did not make a purchase and regretted it until I found this to give to my husband as a gift. I searched for several weeks until finally making my decision. My husband loves this bag and gets many compliments on how tough it is. He commented the other day after he had yet again received a compliment that this will last a lifetime and keep getting better with age. One feature that is important to my husband is that it is unlined. He is in the construction industry and may have to throw a tool or two in the bag. Lining, over time, will wear out on something that will get very heavy use. Many things are made with a limited life span in order to generate a future purchase, that is not the case with this bag. It is very well constructed.
