I bought this for my fall semester and it has been pretty great. It worked well with my laptop and books and I love the pattern inside. I turned the iPod/phone holder into a pen and pencil one by pinning it smaller, this change worked well for me. This backpack basically looks new after 3 months but I still wish it had a longer warranty because I feel one year is too short. The paded straps are pretty comfortable except that they are very scratchy and if you wear them with a sleeveless shirt it is basically painful. This was annoying and I never got used to it, it was also hard to get around this issue but I basically had to adjust my wardrobe for class days.

I love everything about this bagthe inside lining, the logo, the overall modern look and feel. After 1 month use (I use it everyday to bring my laptop to work), I was shocked to see a torn seam in the front pocket. Quality of the stitches are not as hardy as I thought :(My son really wanted me to get this and it's pretty popular. I admit I was a bit apprehensive at first because it doesn't look too sturdy. Very simple and great color selection. Herschel also makes laptop sleeves.
