my only disappointment was my dell XPS15 is a little too thick to fit in the compartment. It just fits shut but is not likely waterproof. I wish they had published the thickness allowed. I might have to buy a new laptop to fit the bag.
....everything else is better than expected
Great backpack. Lots of compartments and accessories. The only negative thing is that the backpack doesn't have a zipper on the top. It just has a flap that covers the top of the backpack.

Very happy with this backpack. I dropped my 15" MacBook Pro a couple of months ago and had to pay >$600 to get it fixed (BTW: don't do that). Since I'm obviously very clumsy, I decided a nearly indestructible bag was the way to go. This bag is comfortable on my back, but it is heavy. Still, I wouldn't trade it for another...very happy with this purchase.
