Victorinox Luggage Altmont 2.0 Deluxe Laptop Backpack

I purchased the original Altmont backpack (Sardona) on amazon.com a about 9 months ago. I was very happy with the backpack until the right shoulder strap tore at the bottom of the pack. I emailed Victorinox about the pack and they sent me this bag a replacement. All I had to pay was the S&H for my old bag. Even though this pack is a little pricey, it is well made, and if you have any problems, Victorinox is very good at fixing them. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this bag over a year ago. I have taken it everywhere. I have taken it over seas and on many holidays. I have been using it almost everyday cycling to work and university. It holds my laptop and books as well as a change of clothes. I am using a macbook pro retina 15 inch which fits in perfectly and the back padding makes it very comfortable to wear. Whenever I use anyone else's backpack it feels dreadful to carry compared to this one. The quality is top notch. I have inspected every inch of this bag and it uses high quality zippers and materials. I found it does resist water, however, with enough water it does get through. Which I am obviously not deducting from the score as it is not advertised or intended to be completely water resistant. But I thought I would mention that the back and front do have a water resistant layer that I found works well. I use a bag cover for it when it is raining if I cycle.

It is very durable and I have put mine through lots but it is perfect. Excellent product and I think anyone who appreciates quality will love this bag just as much as me.

I'm really enjoying this backpack so far. It's sturdy and big and it holds a lot without looking huge and obnoxious. The best part about it is that you can pack a lot in and it still stays pretty compact. The straps can be a bit uncomfortable and restraining at times, but other than that, the bookbag is great. Good for back support as well.
