This case is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It is pretty thin and doesn't have any extra padding but it does what I want it to do and that's just to protect it from the elements when I carry it, to the dust at home, or when I put it in my book bag. If I dropped my laptop it would probably not protect it. I would totally buy another one of these! The customer service people even called me and told me it was a special order so it wouldn't ship right away! It was worth the wait!
