I ALWAYS do my research before I buy any product on the internet and I spent probably a total of 5 hours of research trying to figure out which pack to buy. I chose this one. This pack [Condor is the maker of it] is HUGE, which is a definite plus for me. It is designed to hold a heavy load, and the support system on the waist-belt is phenomenal and very comfortable. Lots of padding on the shoulder straps and on where your back presses against the pack. It's very secure to your body once you adjust all the straps correctly. There are so many handles and loops and straps and holds that I don't even know what I would do with all of them [which is definitely a good thing, very handy and versatile] on TOP of all of the MOLLE that is on it.The only thing some consumers might be disappointed about is the thinness of the pocket material inside the pack's compartments. Also, the zippers only have small shoe-lace type loops on them, in place of a standard metal zipper thing. One of the shoelace-like loops came undone on me and I haven't even used the pack for anything at all yet. I was able to re-assemble it though. I suppose that's a plus that I was able to put it back together, considering if it was a metal zipper that busted, I wouldn't be able to fix it at all. For being MADE IN CHINA, this is a sturdy pack, although I wouldn't have bought it if I knew before-hand that it was MADE IN CHINA. I totally thought it was made in the USA when I bought it, but I got it confused with another pack I was researching. Dang. I think that's more of a mental stigma for me though, since I only like buying American-made merchandise. I'm still very impressed with this pack nonetheless, and I haven't returned it, if that says anything.
P.S. I bought this bag to use as a 72 Hour/survival/bugout bag.
worth the money if you are camping or prepping..
