Eddie Bauer "Broadmoor" Diaper Backpack

Eddie Bauer Broadmoor Diaper BagI tried my wife's diaper bag and found it aggravating to haul around because it was designed more like a purse. After seeing this bag in Target, I decided to get one and I am extremely happy I did. There is plenty of space in it for diapers, extra clothes and pouches for anything you might need for a baby emergency. It did come with a changing pad, which is alright, though I took it out in exchange for disposable pads. There is a an insulated side pocket, so if you have something hot or cold, you can store it there. Finally, one of the coolest additions on this backpack is that it has clips on the top of the straps, so if you want to clip the pack to a grocery cart, stroller or something like that, you can. This diaper bag was well worth the money.

I have this bag, and a Columbia backpack diaper bag. This one kinda stinks comparatively.

The side pocket for bottles is too small to fit 2 10oz bottles... you can get one in though.

The bag is deep and hard to get into once filled. The Columbia bag zips all the way down so you can get in it better.

There just isn't enough room to fit all the stuff for a day out with baby. It will probably be better for a toddler because you need less stuff. Also might be ok if you exclusively breast feed and don't have to carry bottles and formula.

I really enjoyed being able to carry a bag on my back instead of my shoulders! I bought this bag and am now disappointed. The stitching on the front ripped. There is not much organization as it only has two pockets, and two zippered pockets. It is kinda bulky and fat! I wish I would have spent more for a better bag!

Overall this is a good diaper bag. I like that it zips. Bags with Velcro closures eventually wear out. It's comfortable to wear and the insulated pocket for cups or bottles is great. I can fit two changes of clothes, 10 diapers, a pack of wipes, 2 toys, and it still isn't full. The only problem with this bag is that it doesn't sit up well. It tilts forward which can be frustrating when you are trying to pack it and when you are trying to get something out.

We bought this bag because we thought it would be easier carrying a backpack. As far as space goes, it was ok. It would have been nice if it could open up more, as it was hard to get to whatever was in the bottom. However, the worst part is that it fell apart after less than a year. The stitching on the top of the bag came apart, and we eventually had to throw it out.
