SwissGear ScanSmart Laptop Backpack - Blue

I LOVE this backpack! I travel frequently for work during Spring and Fall so I haven't had a chance to "test" it going through airport security....but, there is a ton of room for anything you need to carry, I typically have my laptop, a projector, iPad and other materials. I won't be carrying the projector in this bag but there is plenty of room for the cords.

Two dislikes: 1) it is kind of heavy, because it is made of a durable material, 2) Price!! Why does the color blue add to the cost!?! it's shameful!

Its a great looking bag and durable. I only buy Swiss Gear backpacks and once again, they did not disappoint. The bag is really comfortable on my shoulders, and you hardly feel the weight of the items in the bag, which usually includes at least 2 hardcover books and my laptop.

This is a great backpack for the price. Plenty of space for a 15 inch laptop and a 9 inch tablet. The downside is the the strap to hold in the laptop, the back pack a holder strap that crosses the laptop using velcro to hold the laptop in place, which is kind of flimsy.

Other than the laptop strap, and given that this is a Swiss backpack. This is a great value.

The stitching on one of the shoulder straps is pulled apart, an obvious manufacturer's defect. While Swiss Gear is quality, this item was obviously a 2nd in manufacturing, but sold at retail price. It even came with Sam's Club retail information. Will not purchase from thehappystore again.

Love this backpack. It's my first ever and I love it. I've not used it to travel yet so I don't know if the scanner function works yet but it seems it does based on other reviews. I walk 1.5 miles to and from work and and carry 2 laptops and it works great and is very comfortable.
