Something I didn't know when I ordered this online: The pocket behind the Jansport logo has inner pockets for pens, phone, calculator, small book, rocks, old socks... whatever you want. My other Jansport had the bottomless pit of pockets that was a nightmare to dig through to find a pen or change for that horrible Starbuck's coffee I keep buying.

The straps are thick and harder than the previous Jansport straps. ALMOST too stiff, but they should soften up with use. The nice part about them is that 65 pounds (of books) with these S-shaped straps doesn't feel as bad as it did with my other straight Jansport straps.

The "Chocolate Cherry" color is realy burgundy, or better yet, a nice cabernet. I don't know about the other colors, but Jansport is pretty good about the color in the picture matching the product.

I am very happy with my purchase of this backpack. The color is great, and it has plenty of compartments but not so many that you don't know what to put in them. I especially like the mesh holder on the side, I put my water bottle in there so I don't have to carry it around. I'm a graduate student so I have a lot of materials I have to lug around, and this backpack is perfect for it. The straps are very sturdy and don't cut into my shoulders. It is very comfortable to wear.

I really like that it can carry alot of books, calculator, and multiple pen cases. The front pouches are really roomy. I dislike that the straps required breaking in. They were extremely stiff and not nearly as padded as some of my former backpacks. Although I can carry what I need, when fully loaded it cuts into my shoulders because the design doesn't distribute the weight like my former pack did. It could be better with more padding in the shoulders and back and a more ergonomic strap design. My first preference would have been to find another of my old backpack but since that proved impossible, this was a good second choice.

I started using this backpack a week ago, and I'm loving it! Even though it's small, it fits what I need. I figure if it can fit my huge book of the complete works of Shakespeare (which it does easily, and with room for more), it can fit anything.

My only problem with the backpack is the smell, which was really overwhelming at first and still hasn't fully dissipated, even though I've aired it out a few times and even tried febrezing it.

As a Merlin fangirl, I think the backpack is perfect. :) The person who commented before me had an interesting idea about putting Colin Morgan's face on the front and his ears as the bottle holders on the sides. I would consider buying that, even though I probably wouldn't use it much because I would feel like a creeper.

The backpack was delivered in a timely manner, and it seems sturdy and well-made.

My 6 year-old is a big fan of Merlin. He wanted Merlin bed sets and all, but was totally out of luck...until I found this backpack!! The item was shipped from UK, arrived promptly without damage, and is now being worn by my son everyday! He absolutely loves it!! He shares the Merlin stories with his buddies and is absolutely thrilled with his little backpack. The backpack is a bit smaller than the usual school packs, but perfect for a Kindergartener or lower school kids. It fits his folder and lunch bag, along with his overcoat. To approximate the size of this bag, I fit a pair of size 8 men's trainers in it comfortably in the main pocket but not much else beyond that would fit. This is not the same size as bags found in stores like Target or Walmart marketed towards primary school kids at the end of summer. It's smaller. Personally, I've found that it serves a wonderful purpose sitting in my locker at work and keeping all my supplies organized and neater than the bag I'd had in there. Supplies in this case being my first aid kit, coloured pencils, pencil box, and whatever sock I happen to be knitting. Seeing as this is why I purchased it, it suits my needs wonderfully and should last a good long time simply because it won't actually be going anywhere.

I absolutely adore this bag if only because it's something more interesting to look at than grey cube walls all night. It seems to be sturdily constructed, but I highly doubt it would last the intended audience of use longer than a year and a half.

On an aesthetic note, the dragon has a totally creepster look on its face and once you see it, you cannot unsee it. Caveat Emptor Draconis Creepatoris!

Smaller size but still fits all a 1st grader or younger would need. Lightweight good quality. Very unique and perfect for the young Merlin fan.

Miche Bag Prima Big Bag Shell - Chelsey Urban Bag

I own the Chelsey Prima Miche Shell shown here. I bought it soon after purchasing my Prima base bag (here's one here: Miche Prima Base, and it's still one of my favorites. As it's white I consider it more of a summer bag, but I used it quite frequently then and I'm sure I will again next summer. The shell is durable, and although it's white, it never picked up a speck of dirt. Its embossed with an all-over criss-cross pattern and rivet detailing. The flap top has a zip pocket and really gives this bag a different look than many other Miche bags. Both of the front lower pockets have additional room for a phone or other compact items. The super neat thing about this bag is its one of two Miche Prima bags that can double as a backpack due to discreet loops on the back of the shell. (The other is Laurie, which is identical except it's a steely grey color). To use it as a backpack you need to purchase TWO Miche Adjustable Long Straps in either black or brown. Even without the straps, the bag is still super cute as a regular purse. And actually, as a backpack it's a little floppy and the top doesn't always stay down right, so I use it more as a purse/messenger bag anyway.

For those that aren't familiar with Miche, the purses have three parts -the base bag, the handles (plus carabiners that hook the handles to the purse), and then the shells. There are four sizes of base bags & shells. Smallest to largest they are: Petite, Classic, Demi, and Prima (also called the "Big Bag").

The draw to these bags is that you don't have to switch out all the contents of your purse every time you want to change your purse's look -the shells easily slide over the base bag, and the base + shell securely attach at the top with strong, credit card safe magnets. (Some of the smaller base bag sizes have shells that just attach to the outside of the base, but the Demi and Prima base bags are entirely enclosed in each shell you buy.) The Prima base bag is the largest of the bases -it's for the girl that takes "everything but the kitchen sink" everywhere she goes, but still wants to look great doing it. As a 6-foot tall woman, the bag looks perfectly normal-sized on me, but I've seen photos of really skinny, tiny model-y like women with the Prima bags, and the extra large bag size looks great on them, too.

The Prima Base bag comes with the standard black handles and carabiners. The Prima shells, like Chelsey shown here, come with nothing extra -just the shell shown in the photo.

Once you have the Prima base bag (and handles), you can purchase Prima shells, like this one, that come in many textures and colors, each of which instantly changes the look of your purse. There are different types of handles you can purchase separately, too, which can change your bag's look even more. However, the basic black handles do look fine with most of the shell styles. Just make sure when you buy shells that you're buying ones that match the base size you own -if you own a Classic base buy Classic shells, a Prima base buy Prima shells, etc.

I don't sell Miche -I've never even been to a Miche party. I heard about these bags this summer, and bought some online because the idea really made sense to me. This interchangeable shell system has solved my lifelong purse organization dilemma. Before getting this bag (and some shells) I typically used the same 2-3 bland purses for many years in a row, never caring how they looked in general, and especially not caring if they looked good with what I was wearing. Often, when I would switch between my sad few purses, I'd invariably leave something important in my previous purse. Now, I look forward to which "look" I'm going to have each day and know everything I put in my purse yesterday WILL be in it today, regardless of which shell I choose.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. It came quickly and was exactly what she asked for.

Transformers 'Optimus Bumblebee'' School Bag Rucksack Backpack

My 5 y.o. son loves this backpack. We had a bit of a tough time finding an Optimus Prime backpack. He uses it for school, it's only been 3 days but I think it will last the whole year. I don't think this is a "full" sized school backpack (it's NOT a mini either), but I think it works perfect for my kindergartener (he doesn't have to carry very much or heavy things in it). All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

Lassig Gold Label Shoulder Bag

This is an incredibly spacious bag. It has really useful inside pockets in a removable organizer and two side zipper pockets. The removable organizer even has an insulated bottle compartment that zips closed, as well as a "wet" pocket that also zips closed and keeps wet items away from the rest of the bag. The bag sits up when you put it down really well -mostly because the bottom of the bag is a zipper compartment that holds a matching portable changing pad (the folded changing pad adds some structure to the bag when it's zipped in). It also comes with stroller straps that allow you to attach the bag to any stroller. And my favorite feature... this bag converts from a shoulder bag to a messenger bag.

My only complaint and the only reason I'm giving this bag 4 stars instead of 5 is that the closure on the bag is not as secure as I'd like. The bag has the equivalent of a tie/string closure. This means that the contents of the bag are mostly accessible when the bag is closed. I tested the bag several times by filling it up, closing the string closure, and knocking the bag off the bed/couch/table, to make sure the contents wouldn't spill everywhere. The bag did pass my test, but I still wish it had a zipper. I may look into adding one myself, though I understand why the manufacturer did not add a zipper... the bag is reversible, making a zipper closure complicated if you'd like to use both sides.

Still, a wonderful bag: great size, great internal organization, particularly the insulated zipper pocket, and zipper "wet" pocket. Considering it's size and features, it's also really reasonably priced.

From the picture it is very nice, and I liked it a lot. But once it arrived I was disappointed immensely, it was smaller than the picture led me to believe and small inside.

I was so excited to get this diaper bag. I was disappointed with it when I got it. I am not a fan of the material it is made of. It is stiff and really thick. The two top pockets are difficult to unzip. The pockets are very deep which is nice but the opening is quite small. It also has a separate bag that contains all the pockets. I really liked this idea but when I was trying to put my wipes, diapers and everything into the pockets I noticed they were too small. Also, once I put a few items in the pockets there wasn't much room for anything in the middle compartment. I wish it wasn't reversible and they had built all the compartments into the main bag. I think they would have been big enough then and there would have been room for everything. I was also disappointed with the color. I expected a more creamy tan and it is actually more khaki-green colored. Not a fan. I am so sad and still looking for a good diaper bag with lots of pockets and room for everything but still stylish.
