Aqua-Quest 'The Biker' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag - 25 L / 1500 cu. in. Charcoal Model

Aqua-Quest 'The Biker' Waterproof Backpack Dry Bag - 25 L / 1500 cu. in. Charcoal ModelI usually don t write product review. I run everyday to work, regardless on the weather so need a reliable backpack. This one a robust, completely waterproof and fits well to my back so it does not move when I run.

It is 25L, enough to not worry about folding. I love it because it is cheap but offers the same quality than backpack at twice the price.

One negative point: I am 6'1 tall and it might not fit taller guys.

As a biker model, I got this backpack, well, for biking. Although the construction and materials quality is pretty good, the design itself is sort of interesting and sometimes challenging.

First the good.

No zippers. Everything closes tight without zippers, just Velcro which means longer usable life.

6 pockets. One is a big, duffellike bag with a smaller compartment on the front. Two side pockets on the backpack and two side pockets on each strap.

Really waterproof. The interior is completely rubberized (not the front pocket).

Now what's keeping me for giving 5 stars to this backpack.

The backpack allows for two states: Empty or semi-full and full. The empty state means you need to wrap to top in a unconventional way, which is not explained anywhere. Or, like I did, I just put two carbine hooks on each end and folded the whole top down.

There are two straps that latch on front of your body. They seem to be sort of high on their location, so the one that is supposed to go on your stomach is actually latching mid-sternum and the top one that is supposed to go on the chest, is actually very close to the neck. If the backpack is full, the one on the neck will choke you.

Not a bad backpack. Seems very durable and efficient at keeping things dry inside. It just takes a while to accept the design and work around it.

The material of the outer shell seems very durable. We'll see how it lasts throughout the years. Water proof bags are notorious for developing holes in "pinch points" where they are constantly rolled. This material seems very durable though. The design is simple, which I like. I love the pockets on the hip straps. The product could benefit from a rubber reinforcement on the outside bottom of the bag, just to protect it from abrasion over time. I would be willing to pay extra for this.

Overall very satisfied with this.

The material and construction of the bag were basically fine, but to describe this as women's/unisex is totally off.

The straps system will only fit a very petite teenage girl or boy. The chest strap fits almost to the neck and the

hip strap comes nowhere near the hips or even the waist. I'm 5'6" and no amount of adjusting would make it work. Looking back over other reviews, this problem was mentioned but I didn't think it would be this bad. This is getting sent straight back.
