Disney Toy Story Large 15" Backpack with Buzz, Woody and Rex

Disney Toy Story Large 15' Backpack with Buzz, Woody and RexThis backpack was bought for my 4 year old son at the beginning of preschool. I was initially woried that the picture would rub off over time, but I have not seen that as an issue. Great storage space and easy for my little man to carry.

I have also washed this item on a gentle cycle with no problems.

Order took too long to get here and was late. It is not a toy so unable to review anymore. He goes to preschool so not much wear and tear

Mammut - MTR 201 Backpack

Mammut - MTR 201 Backpack - 7 - Black / IronThen next best trail running pack with this many features is almost $100 more (Salomon S-Lab) and the MTR has more volume! Fully loaded there was definitely some noticeable bounce but I had my overnight kit stuffed in there. A full GoLite Shangri-la 3 tent, sleeping pad, a bit of food, water filter (sawyer squeeze) etc. trekking poles lashed to the side right and a 20 oz water bottle in the side left side pocket. So, yeah I expected some bounce. The pack itself is feather weight. The material is translucent and probably not very durable. Having it filled to capacity I could the seams being stressed. Overall very high quality craftsmanship though.

Fit was acceptable but could be dialed in better with sizing variation (s,m,l),this probably keeps the cost down. Right now it is a one size fits all pack. I'm on the smaller side (64in/135lbs) and I tightened the shoulder tension completely. The chest strap provided good tension but the design would benefit from the second sternum strap that comes equipped on the 7 liter smaller version. The hip belt actually sits above the navel and is not padded. It did help stabilize the load but I think the 2nd sternum strap would have improved the pack fit and bounce more.

The shoulder straps have multiple pockets. There is a bottle holder on the right, though what size bottle it was made for I have no idea. It cannot fit the typical 20 oz bottles without serious effort. I would be afraid of ripping the material. The left side has a built in whistle and a mesh pocket that is perfect for a cell phone. There is a volume expansion zipper on the main body of the pack, a feature that you see on many suitcases, that allows you to cram those high volume items in (rain fly/tarp)without stressing the light weight material too much. Also on the back side of the pack behind the super plush padded mesh back panel (best back panel ever!)is where the hydration sleeve is. The sleeve will easily fit a 3 liter hydration bladder and there is a clever way to route the tube under the shoulder fabric and a nice Velcro piece on the shoulder to keep the tube in place. FYI this is obviously a frameless pack.

The MTR 201 is definitely a niche product. Great for UL backpackers out for only a single night or trail runners out all day or overnight unsupported. I can see myself using this as a day pack when out with my 3 year old on a picnic/day hike but mostly for one night of fastpacking, or a stage race.

Loses a star for fit/bounce, hipbelt, and no 2nd sternum strap. The option to remove the hipbelt when not in use would be nice.

Stephen Joseph Girls 2-6x Quilted Backpack Ladybug

Stephen Joseph Girls 2-6x Quilted Backpack Ladybug,Red/Pink,One SizeMy 3yr old daughter loves ladybugs and we ordered this for her to take to preschool in the fall. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is, it is a lot more durable than I thought it would be and it is absolutely adorable. My 3yr old loves it and I love its sturdy construction that I believe will stand up to an active 3yr old. Magnetic snap closure is nice so little ones can operate it easily and you can adjust the length of the straps slightly which is nice. It is the perfect size for a preschooler, not too big but big enough to hold some things. It is big enough to hold a change of clothes, small toy and still have room to bring home papers and art projects. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a preschooler that loves ladybugs, my little one is now very excited to start preschool with her new backpack.

This was a big hit with our 2 year old grandaughter. She loves ladybugs and was ready for her own backpack. It is small/light enough for her body even with some things in it.

There are drawstrings under the flap which act as a closure. When it arrived I was a little concerned about that from a safety point of view with a small child. However, the mother looked it over carefully and approved.

Liberty Bags Small Drawstring Backpack. 8881

Liberty Bags Drawstring Backpack, Purple, One Size. 8881Was recently traveling through Sweden and Denmark and I was very happy that I bought this to carry around instead of a purse. In fact, the other ladies on the trip wished that they had done the same! It was even sturdy enough to carry my netbook. More durable than I thought!

The only downfall is that the company only had light blue. However, with the price and quality of the product I'm happy regardless.

I love the bag! It's perfect for storing my son't bowling set! The bag arrived super fast and in great condition. I plan to buy more in the near future since they worked so well for my kid's toys!

Osprey Momentum 34-Litre Commuter Pack

Osprey Momentum 34-Litre Commuter PackIve travelled internationally for my job for over a decade and I've come to expect a lot from the bags I use. In my early days, I had entire packs come apart flinging my stuff everywhere. I decided a long time ago that the bag you trust all of your priceless personal items and expensive gadgets to should not be a cheap piece of junk.

I've used Osprey packs for years, yet they have never had a day pack/computer pack that worked for me, mostly because of their ultralight design approach. The Momentum 34 hits a new high. It has a nice stiff back that protects your laptop and props the bag up on its own without losing comfort. It has great organization and really shouldn't be confined to the bike commute. The two pockets on the shoulder straps are amazing, however, the key zip attachment needs a quick clip and not a O-ring.

My only gripe is that every decent pack needs at least one dedicated bottle/thermos pocket. The momentum has two side pockets at the bottom that are actually very nice for keeping a power brick, cliff bars, etc... i.e. items too for the main compartment of the bag, but too small for the pen/key pocket. When you open the side pockets there is a little mesh lining that keep the items from falling out yet handy at the same time. It's really a great idea. The problem is that these two side pockets are not large enough to keep a bottle/thermos mug. They will fit a can of soda or a 12 oz water bottle, but that's it and not conveniently at all. The thing that saves the Momentum for me is the rear "dump" pocket. It is high and narrow with a bit of stretch to it so a 16-20oz bottle slides in very nicely. It's just wide enough that I can slide my thermos mug in there too. This pocket is dedicated for a U-lock so I'm not sure what Osprey was thinking by not having a water bottle pocket; however, whether by accident or intent, the dump pocket is perfect for people that need to keep liquids at hand!

Honestly, if you want a pack that is well thought through buy from a company that is primarily a pack company like Osprey. NOT The North Face, or many others. Marmot makes great jackets, but horrible packs.

I've had this pack (S/M) for about a month and have used it daily for bicycle commuting and once for a weekend air-travel trip. I'm really happy with it. Finally a backpack that is made to use when riding a bike, that has a bunch of pockets, and that holds enough for a day at work, to the gym, to the shower, and back. There are a few changes that would make this pack perfect, but overall it's been worth my money.

Features:

I love the rain fly. It is bright yellow and comes out and on in about 10 seconds, and even has an attachment spot for a blinky. The lid lock works perfectly to snap my helmet (or a neck pillow)on the outside of my bag. The shoulder straps can be tucked into the bag and zipped away, and there are handles for carrying from the top or side of the pack. I've removed the detachable waist belt, but would put it back on for longer rides with heavier/bigger loads. The pack expands with a zip-around zipper, giving me enough room to easily fit a pair of running shoes when the bag had been too full to fit either before. The compression straps keep the load from being floppy (and were a must-have after my last pack). The sternum strap is adjustable and comfortable but I find I actually have to use it, which wasn't always the case with other packs. It may have something to due with my poly/nylon winter jacket, but the straps are slippery and don't seem to stay on unless I have fasten the sternum strap. This might be a good thing too, but I've never had a problem with chafing from shoulder straps on a bike(upper body doesn't move that much on a bike). The back panel is comfortable and does a great job at keeping any bulky or pointy items from jabbing me. In the winter, my outer layer is windproof and I always appreciate the added warmth of a pack, so I really have no comment on ventilation it allows.

Storage:

It holds more than I thought it would, I've packed running shoes, skirt, shirt, lightweight sweater, heels, along with a 14" laptop and a couple magazines, and was able to zip it up with no problem.

I love the compartmentalization. This pack has enough organization that I can fit all of my essentials (first aid, u-lock, snack bars, patch kit, mini-pump, micro-fiber rag, resistance bands, toiletries, chamois towel, wallet, makeup, pens, watch, jewelry, flip flops, etc.) without putting any of them in the main compartments. This is important both because I want to be able to access this stuff quickly, and also because I'm packing and unpacking daily with a change of clothes (or two).

The shoulder strap pockets (phone on the left (note: on S/M, it is not big enough for an iPhone, don't know about M/L) and keys (with a retractable key ring) on the right) are great, and don't get in the way at all for me.

I have to preface the next piece by saying that this is the best pack I've had for commuting. Osprey makes great packs. Having one of their other backpacking packs, I was thrilled to see their entry into the bike commuter market. That said, here's my biggest complaint about the Metropolis: The positing of the auxillary pockets could be better for everyday commuting use. When my pack is only lightly loaded, since I have the extra pockets full, most of the load is at the top of the pack. Even when it shouldn't be an issue, I still see the pack when I'm looking over my shoulder. (I'm on my bike, so this is important.) Whatever I put into the auxiliary pockets reduces the amount I can put into the main compartment. With the exception of the marsupial pouch and the shoulder strap pockets, the smaller storage pockets all expand into the main compartment instead of expanding outside the bag. So, when I have the auxiliary pockets filled (which I usually do), it means the main compartment isn't an approximate rectangle. I have to squeeze stuff into the bottom of bag where there is space the top is full with contents from the top pocket. I should say almost-the-bottom of the bag either side of the bottom of the bag is full with contents from the side pocket. What makes packing it especially annoying is the fact that the panel access (better than top load!) only unzips the top half of the bag. Getting a pair of dress slacks in without bunching them up is possible, but challenging.

If you want to carry a water bottle on the pack neither my nalgene or stainless steel bottles fit in the side pockets (28 oz range), and when I put a small 12 oz water it, it kept wanting to slide out. All of these bottles fit in the marsupial pouch. But of course, then they aren't accessible without removing the pack. I miss my old pack's mesh pocket. It held a water bottle or whatever else I stuffed in there a bandana, some candy, a pair of gloves. It was really nice to have one-handed access to a pocket on the fly. The size zip pockets have a little mesh webbing, but the webbing is loose so you still need to zip to keep anything from falling out.

There is a second compartment behind the main compartment that holds flat things, like a laptop. It has (what looks like) a waterproof zipper, and inside it has both a fastened pocket for a laptop and another inch or two deep pocket. I bet I could fit two laptops in it! Anyway, it works laptops and papers/books. I love that the laptop pocket is positioned toward the middle of the bag (instead of against the back). It gives the laptop a little more protection. Also the rain fly is in a pocket on the bottom of the pack, also offering a little protective padding down there.

Air travel:

Stuffed to the gills, it fit in the overhead bin (sideways). I had to take the neck pillow out from under the elastic helmet clip (lid lock) and had to pull my winter jacket out of the marsupial pouch, but that probably goes without saying. The fact that I could zip away the shoulder straps meant that I didn't dangle them in another passengers face as I put my bag up. (Sorry for not doing that the first time!)

Summary:

So, overall a great pack. Holds a ton, has awesome bike commuting features, has great compartmentalization, and feels secure and comfortable. I wish the main compartment were easier to load and unload, and that I didn't see it when I looked over my shoulder, but I don't think there is a better bag out there. (Note: immediately after buying this bag, I noticed that Osprey came out with a new cycling pack. Haven't fully investigated, but it may have some improvements over this one.)

This pack has all the bells and whistles you want in a pack. It has a pocket for everything located in the right place and you won't run out of room with it's capacity. My only gripe about this pack is the back panel. It's up against your back and doesn't allow any airflow between it, which means that your back will get sweaty quick. If the next iteration of this pack allowed some airflow or spaced padding to keep the back of the pack away from your back and allow airflow it would be a winner. I've returned the pack and will wait and see if Osprey will make that change. I bought both sizes when I considered purchasing the pack and at 5' 7.5" I decided to go with S/M. I felt the M/L was a little too big. Try both sizes if you can before deciding which size to purchase.

I've been using the pack for about a year for my bike commute in Oregon, USA. The pack is an absolute life saver both for comfort and features.

The back of the pack is relatively stiff which may not sound like the most comfortable thing, but it keeps any stiff items in the bag from poking you (i.e. books laptop chargers, water bottles etc), provides a wide and balanced platform for your load, and allows for the natural contours in your back to act as channels to bring air between you and the pack keeping you cool and dry.

Speaking of dry, Oregon is a wet and rainy place and if you're commuting with a few hundred or a few thousand dollars worth of books, electronics, and other important papers staying dry is key. The fold away rain flap does a great job of this. It has its own pocket at the bottom of the bag and can fold out and cover the bag in a matter of 15-20 seconds (great if you get stuck in a flash downpour). The cover also has a bungee cinch that keeps it tight to the bag, keeping water out and keeping the cover from turning into a sail. I use the two small outer pockets to carry my rain pants and a light rain coat so I'm always prepared to do battle with nature.

Like every thing else on the bag, the straps are well thought out. The shoulder straps are well padded and help to balance the load. A nice feature of the shoulder straps is that they can be unclipped at the waste and tucked into the bag so if you ever want to check the pack you won't have to worry about the straps getting caught on something and damaged. There is also a chest strap and a waist belt to keep the bag secure on your body if you're trying to ride fast. A pair of straps at the top of the shoulder straps allow you to adjust how high the bag rides on your back and a pair of cinch straps on the cargo compartment let you compact the bag to fit what you're carrying.

Size wise I like the bag a lot. The 34L bag is big enough for several books, a computer, a sweater, and probably some lunch. There haven't been many times that I was unable to fit everything I needed for a work day into the bag and honestly the few times I have run into issues it was probably for the better. At a certain point putting too much stuff on your back and going on a bike ride is probably verging on dangerous.

Finally Osprey's customer service is amazing. The bag comes with a lifetime warranty and they will replace broken clips and zippers even if you're probably at fault. I broke (stepped on) one of the waist strap buckles, sent an email to customer support showing which one had broke and had a new one within a week. I like a company that knows that they have a quality product and is willing to stand behind it even if it does cost a bit more than the other products on the market. They stand behind the product, I stand with them. I can't imagine I'll need to replace it for quite some time, but when that time comes I will look to osprey again for another quality product.

I love my yellow S/M pack it holds so much stuff when its expanded (once held three shoe boxes on a trip from work) and can zip up small and still hold my laptop. I am 5'9" and about 160 lbs and it fits me well. I actually have to tighten the chest strap just a couple inches from its tightest setting I would bet that the M/L bag would be way too big for me.

I have a Mac 15" laptop which is technically too small for the flap that holds laptops, but I put it in the gap right next to it which has an inch or more length. BUT this space is not padded when I put the bag on the floor sometimes I can hear the laptop banging on the floor. I solved that problem by keeping my spare tube in the bottom of that slot.

I hate that this bag doesn't have a place for a water bottle. If you commute by bike and train, which I do, I really want a spot to keep my bottle on the outsite of the bag because the bottle sweats i the summer.

I love the helmet clip! Love the rain cover. I love all the pockets I use every one of them for headphones, laptop power cord, building ID card, sunglasses, bike lock etc..

NOTE: the yellow looks sharp but I am halfway into my winter and its a dirty mess from all kicked up dirt on the roads, the occasional puddle and from the dirty subway trains. I wish I could trade it in for a black bag.

High Sierra Evolution 22-Inch Carry On Upright Suitcase

High Sierra Evolution 22-Inch Carry On Upright Suitcase, LavaAfter owning this, I realize there's about 2-3 of these on every flight I'm on.

Don't let scare you off. The reason is because the bag maxes out the size of a carry-on item and keeps it simple with a sturdy housing and great rollers.

Can't beat this bag for the price, they've struck the perfect balance with this bag.

I purchased my high sierra luggage for my recent trip to Europe. It is very light so you can pack more items in the suitcase than in my heavier carryon if you are concerned about weight. It is easy to maneuver and held up well while being tossed around various airports. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for light weight, dependable luggage. Also the orange color was easy to spot on the luggage carousel!

I bought this specifically because it meets the maximum size specifications for overhead bin storage on most airlines. It satisfies in that respect.

However, I have consistently experienced a problem with the bag tending to fall forward; it is prone to tipping over away from the handle side. Very annoying, especially when traveling. This happens even though I have nothing stored in the outer pockets, although that should really make no difference.

Overall quality is satisfactory; I expected the inside to perhaps have some pockets and maybe some padding, but such is not the case.

Given another opportunity to purchase, I would go in a different direction because I get tired of the bag falling over all the time. But, it does get the job done.

I love the color, I wasn't sure about it on the web site but when I saw it in person, I really like it. The wheels feel good and the main compartment is great. I am curious to see if the 22" will go as a carry-on on the first leg of a trip overseas on a smaller jet. I plan to have smaller bags inside, the 2 outer pockets are really just for light, flat items. Very happy with the weight! It's nice and light but feels sturdy.

MadPax Spiketus Rex Nibbler

MadPax Spiketus Rex Nibbler, Orange Peel, One SizeI bought this as a gift for my sons 3rd birthday. I purchased the smaller one as he's a toddler and does not need (nor is big enough) for a full size backpack. It came in the mail today and it's not a backpack at all. It does not have straps. It came with a messenger style strap that attaches to the very top which makes it cumbersome to wear. It did not mention this at all in the description. I am not happy with this purchase.

Official US Military Surplus ACU Molle II Large RuckSack Backpack

Official US Military Surplus ACU Molle II Large RuckSack BackpackThis is a great bag for a Bug Out Bag or a phenomenal bag to go hiking with.....the picture posted in the site is a little misleading though....this bag I actually bigger than it looks..,,just to give you an idea on how big it is at the bottom of the bag I was able to fit a 9 pack of charming toilet paper from Costco....the cavity of the bag is that wide the entire way up...even better than that is the fact that the bag is shown with two side pouched that are attached with stripes...my bag had 2 extra pouches that came with it, so I know have a freaking massive pack....the ONLY negative I have is that this bag is not compartmentalized, but that's ok, that's what tactical bags are for.....

I am very happy with my pack. It was used and in very good shape. I had to give it a little cleaning. But that is part of surplus equipment sales.

Some sellers have a very strange system for rating surplus items. VERY GOOD is more like VERY POOR CONDITION. But that is not the case with HANSBOROUGH ENTERPRISES. I am pleased and impressed with the description and pack.

I hope that other people have the same kind of service I had. For a company that just launched I hope they keep up the good work.

This is the best backpack I've ever owned, civilian or mil spec. It is durable, roomy, water resistant, expandable with the Molle system, and I think it will last a very long time. This is the real deal, not a knock off. Compared to Vietnam era ALICE gear, this is an incredible improvement. The frame is durable thick impact resistant plastic but not too heavy. The hip belt is comfortable, and the pack adjusts well on the frame with it's various straps. It doesn't rub the wrong way, it sits nicely on the shoulders and hips. It has areas all over it to strap a rifle, entrenching tool, radio, walking stick, or ice ax on it out of the way. Sternum strap is comfortable and has a quick release. It has a nice carry strap on top. It is a wide, not tall pack. It easily holds enough gear for a week long trip. It is easy to get into with it's over sized zippers that do not jam. The zippers have durable pull tabs. Also, you look like a boss who means business wearing this pack, not like a little girl going to a slumber party. I think it weighs about 12 lbs empty. This pack wouldn't be good for kids or petite persons, but I think it's about perfect for the average sized male, as designed.

I do wish the draw strings were braided cord instead of old style shoe string type draw strings and plastic clasp the pack comes with, as they are already getting worn after just two weekend outings. I'll probably replace the draw stings with para-cord now that I think about it, with a spring loaded clasp you see on civilian packs and jackets, or even some Velcro on the side pockets (which is used on the top flap) because I'm worried that small items could fall out of the large side bags attached with the current draw strings when the pack is turned upside down.

The inside has a big zipper so you can make it one big rucksack, or divide the inside into separate top and bottom compartments if you want. I stuff the fall rated black sleeping bag from the modular sleeping bag system into the bottom compartment easily. It won't hold more than maybe the summer bag and the bivy sack though inside the pack itself. The pack does not have any internal frame. There are a lot of straps on this pack, so you have to take some time to optimize them, remove the straps you don't need and secure the ones you do so they won't get caught on things, as with any pack.

I bought this fanny pack as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine who is pretty small. He used to be a Horse Jockey and I was affraid to buy him a pack online, because I didnt know if they would be monsterous on his 5'2 frame. This pack is perfect. Not only is it small but the leather is really soft and the interior looks sturdy. I imagine he will store his phone, wallet, keys, and a pair of glasses in it. I didnt look at the waist band so it may be too big for him, but I'll just sew it smaller if needed, not a big deal for such a great price.

15.4 inch Purple Sparse Floral Laptop Notebook Padded Compartment Shoulder Messenger BagThis bag is great. It has tons of space, lots of pockets to organize things, and is a beautiful color (although it does get dirty easily). I bought this for my 15.4" Toshiba laptop, and let's just say, its a tight fit. I basically have to shove the computer in there. The description says it fits up to 15.4" laptops but just know, its really meant for a smaller size laptop, as mine just barely fits.

Perfect for travel. Throw my laptop which has an acrylic colored hard cover and a soft neoprene sleeve in the bag and with the 3 it's all the protection my computer needs. Has plenty of room to include my Kindle, iPOD, and whatever else I want to put in it. Not to mention it's stylish too.

Off-white Canvas Backpack School Bag Super Cute for School-By JAM Closet

Off-white Canvas Backpack School Bag Super Cute for School-By JAM ClosetMy bag got a hole by the bottom strap pretty quickly. Also, the magnetic snaps pop open often, particularly on the side pouches. It becomes less useful the more you stuff it with stuff. It is cute though.

This bag is a lot bigger than what I thought it was going to be. The straps on the backpack are really small and hard to put it on your shoulders.

Not a good backpack.

Dakine 20-Litre Heli Pro Pack

Dakine 20-Litre Heli Pro PackAs advertised. Color is exact. It's for my son for school and snow skiing. He hasn't used the the snow ski feature yet. Zippers seem very sturdy.

My kid is type 1 diabetic so when we ski I need to carry medical supplies. This pack is perfect and well designed. I put our lunch, his supplies, and other misc. stuff and I can hardly tell I'm wearing it when going downhill. Appears to be well made but just started using it. So far it is a five star product.

It looks better than I expected.

Just the right size for me to work. The only thing to make this even better is to use softer material for the laptop pocket where it could provide more buffer.

The quality is great. A extremely high C/P choice and the best pack I ever had.

UrbanSport Wheeled Rolling Student School Backpack

UrbanSport Green Wheeled Rolling Student School BackpackI have to admit, I was a little worried about this from the reviews I read. I called the company and talked to one of their reps (extremely nice person named Mawar, ask for her if you ever call!) She said that the supplier they used to use was indeed providing low quality bags, but they found a new factory that made the same bag that was a lot better. So I gave it a try. Turns out she was right! When I first got it, I beat the snot out of it. Yanked on the handle, pulled on the pockets and tried to break the plastic thingies on the straps. It held up. And is still holding up a few months later. no problems whatsoever with it. IMO the new ones of these are well worth the money spent.

I bought this backpack in the fall of 2009 for my 8 year old son. He's already getting homework and he needed something that was versatile enough that he could roll it or carry it, based on the weight on any given day.

Well, he rolled it around for about 3 weeks and the handle came apart. What's interesting is that 3 of his classmates have the same backpack and the same thing happened to them as well. In fact, one of them suffered the same fate in just 2 weeks of use.

This meant he had to wear it like a regular backpack permanently. No problem, right? No, big problem. After another 3 weeks one of the straps broke. So now its a one strapped backpack with no handle for rolling.

It's also worth noting that you child WILL be able to feel the metal handle through the pack when its on their back. That means it will hurt MORE than a regular backpack when they wear it.

It has lots of pockets and what not, but the outer fabric gets frayed and ripped pretty easily.

All in all, its a piece of junk. Maybe the worst backpack I've ever seen or had the misfortune to pay for...buyer beware.

Would recomend this back to anyone that has children. Being able to roll a heavy backpack instead of on a childs back

Thank goodness I found this backpack. I do a lot of canvassing and without this, it would make my job a little harder. Very easy to maneuver and it holds all my essentials. Pull out handle feels very sturdy and backpack straps are comfy. Couldn't ask for a better product. Thanks!

Hey, it's a good little backpack. Nothing fancy, but it definitely does its job for the price. It's also pretty light.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack in Central Park North Stop

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack in Central Park North StopWe used to own the older model Petunia Pickle Bottom Women's Boxy Backpack Diaper Bag, Black Currant but we returned it to get this bag. We got a 20% off coupon from a local retailer and got it there instead of Amazon. (Sorry Amazon!) But since I use Amazon for all my reviews (even when I'm in retail stores), I wanted to share my thoughts.

PROS:

The bag is large enough (in fact, it seems a little larger than the older model) to hold plenty of stuff. We easily fit in 1-2 spare outfits, socks, shoes, binkies, nursing cover, 1-2 bottles, lotion, hand sanitizer, formula, and of course diapers and wipes.

I like that the changing pad on the front can unzip and the wipes and diapers fit nicely in convenient pouches in the front. The pad can be removed for easy washing as well.

The bag has sufficient storage for smaller items (2 side pockets are perfect for hand sanitizer, lotion, binkies, or cell phone. The inside has a couple open pouches as well as a zipped pouch.

The outside has a nice texture that doesn't snag like our old model (it had a fuzzy texture that sometimes caught on velcro and tape). It's a simple "stamped" style pattern but it doesn't look or feel cheap.

We almost always use the back-pack style straps since we prefer having both hands free for carrying other objects (like the baby carseat!). If you use it over your shoulder it can slip pretty easily since the straps don't have any padding or grip.

CONS:

Although not a straight "con", the straps are still a little simple. I thought they might add some padding, but I also haven't ever had too many heavy items in the bag that would require a lot of padding. Besides, how long am I ever carrying the bag? 10 minutes at most? Usually it is in the car, on the ground, or in the stroller. So the padding isn't a must.

COMPARISON TO OLDER MODEL:

So far we like this newer model much better. The biggest improvement is the lack of velcro on the top flap that folds over the whole bag. On the older model they had velcro that came loose by simply picking up the bag. So if you forgot to zip up the bag and simply folded over the flap, the contents of the bag would spill out. But on this newer model, they have magnets (stronger than the velcro) as well as 2 snap settings (1 for normal fit, 1 for stuffing in extra capacity into the bag). It seems like they listened to their customers and we thank the company for that.

Hopefully this review helps you in your decision to buy. We like the bag... it's functional, looks good (come on, I'm a guy and I don't mind carrying it), and it works great. If you appreciate this review, please let me and the other reviewers know. And leave a comment with any questions.

Bags for LessTM Deluxe Cinch Drawstring Backpack, Red

Bags for LessTM Deluxe Cinch Drawstring Backpack, RedThese bags are great, nice quality, zipper pocket entrance and drawstring closure. They don't frey or rip like other bags. I got one for each of my sons.

Ordered a few of these for the family to use on a recent vacation. Came in very handy for walking around the city, especially since the weather required layering to deal with both warm and cool temps. Very easy to carry things in this light-weight drawstring backpack. Very durable and held up well. Definitely a good purchase!
