I travel as light as possible, having this backpack stashed in my messenger bag (it folds down to size smaller than an iPad) gives me extra storage on my return trip for any purchases I make; it also serves as a great "beach bag" to stuff supplies into for an excursion during my travels.
I think it is a good companion for travelling.
