PRO: 1. Very well padded; your notebook computer will be well protected. 2. Slim and professional-looking. 3. Sides are relatively rigid so bag stands up on its own for easy loading.

CON: 1. My primary complaint is that the notebook compartment is far deeper (thicker) than it needs to be since notebooks are much much thinner than they used to be. This leaves the other main compartment smaller, sometimes making it difficult to carry enough other stuff. 2. No internal zippered pocket for keeping valuables or just things you definitely do not want to get loose in your bag. 3. Front surface zippered pocket opens all the way to its base so that if one unzips it all the way the down, items can fall out.

I just love how Higer Ground Backpack looks. Very elegant. My MAC Pro is well pretected and I can travel anywhere with pride.

I can't down grade the actual sleeve just because I'm an idiot so I actually liked the quality and felt the sleeve would have worked exactly for the purpose in which I intended to use it. However, I don't believe they had it in the 11" version so I'm very sad.

I purchased this for my 6 year old niece who complained that everyone had the same book bag she did.so I bought this.i gave it a 4 because while it is beautiful it is not that structured/sturdy.

I think that from the way the backpack looks on the screen it is expected differently. The backpack is pretty cheap, feeling, looking and made. I also was not happy that I belive I spent more on shipping then the price on the backpack.

We really enjoy this product -just not sure how it is going to work in the rain since it is a cloth bag. But my daughter loves it. It is big enought to carry her stuff back and forth to school. Great bag and the price was good also.

My 9 year old daughter's school mates liked it.It is different not something you can find in the stores.The price was good but when you add shipping it is not so much a bargain anymore. High Sierra Spire 2500 Backpack

This is great back pack with tons of pockets, and places to keep you belongings organized. Excellent built quality. I have a 14 and 15 inch laptops and it holds both very securely. definitely good buy, for the price.

This backpack is awesome, very lightweight, with so many useful pockets and places to put large and small items. I really like the side pockets for a water bottle and the cell phone holder on the strap. Great price as well.

The design of the backpack is good but the material are very bad for the price. You can find others models better than this in other brands for the same price or less.

I got this backpack just before going back to Australia, which is a very long trip and I usally have to walk a ways in the airports so it is good to have something with good support. I really like this backpack so far. It is very supportive and comfortable to wear. It also only you allows you to pack so much so that it still fits great in the overheads on the plane. There is also an adjustable strap on the inside to resize it, like on a big pack. So basicly I would totally recomend it. I love it :)

Do not buy this pack if you will be using it to carry books. After just over 30 days of use (5x/week) or approximately 25 daily uses, the shoulder strap stitching ripped out where it attaches to the back of the pack. I could not return it to Amazon since it was more than 30 days, so I am returning it to High Sierra. They say they will either repair or replace it, but I doubt if it would hold up if they repair it. After this pack failed, I visually compared it with another High Sierra pack (High Sierra Swerve) that we own and also use to carry books that is now over 2 years old. The Swerve is constructed much better and is heavier duty, and it also appears to be less expensive than the Spire. The Swerve has held up well, and is still going strong! I am going to request that they send us a Swerve in lieu of repairing the Spire.

they dont tell you the dimension and in the picture it looks huge but its actually really small meant for a grade school kid i got the back pack and was very dissapionted at the size

I bought this for my 4 year old to take to preschool and he loves it. It is just the right size for him just big enough to put a full sized piece of paper in. It seems durable enough and certainly worth the little amount we paid for it. It also arrived in about a week, even coming from the UK, which was a happy surprise. My only complaint would be how little the straps adjust. From as big as it will go to as small as it will go there is a difference of maybe 4 inches, so the straps don't fit very tightly on little tiny shoulders. However, still good enough for us, and my little Doctor Who Fanatic couldn't be more pleased.

Timbuk2 Candybar Backpack

I ordered this to use as my carry on for an upcoming trip to Europe. I spent hours looking for a messenger bag and only found stuff I loved in the $200 price range. I decided to give this a try because my brother in law has a Timbuktu baghe loves.

Size wise it's perfect for my needsiPad, kindle, toiletries and a cozy scarf fit great with room to spare for snacks and water. I ordered the purple and greylove the colors. So far it seems well made, no cheap looking stitches to be seen. There are three minor things I do not like : 1. There is only Velcro to close the top flap, so conceivably if the bag was dumped upside down my crap would go everywhere. 2. The iPad/notebook access and the little front pocket (great for cell phone) seem geared to left handers, meaning you access from your left side, which for me is taking some getting used(I have dropped my cell phone out once) 3. The outer pocket has 2 snaps for access but the pocket only opens part way, it's kind of a weird design and makes it a liitle hard to get to stuff.

Overall I do recommend this bag because it's well made, above average in the style department and ultimately because it's well suited to my needs.

This pack is terrific. The vertical design is so efficient to pack and carry.

There is plenty of room for all my books and notebooks, pens, cards, money.

The side access is also fantastic. The pack is sturdy and lightweight

and well made.

This bag arrived 2 days before i'm leaving for my Asia trip. I figure i will be needing the compact size bag to roam around instead using the bigger backpack. This one fits everything i need to fit in during my trip. It can fit my 13" macbook pro nicely. Strong handle. A minor downside but not a big issue for me will be when you walk, the side handle flaps will make a little noise. Put all your $$ and passport in the side pouch and you'll be fine. I needed a bag large enough to carry my 11.6" laptop, a couple of books, and an article of clothing or two--and nothing more. This bag fits the bill, and protects me from my habit of carrying everything but the kitchen sink.

The bottom of the Candybar sits higher on my back, and the shallow profile keeps the weight closer to my body, so weightier items (like a laptop or hardcover books) are far more comfortable to carry than if they were sinking to the bottom of a bigger bag. The straps are also closer together than a lot of unisex backpacks I've had, which is heaven for my shoulders.

13 inch Midnight Green Sparse Floral Laptop Notebook Sleeve Slip Case Bag for most of MacBook Acer

After shopping around a bit, I finally settled on this sleeve for my 13 inch Macbook Pro. It fits snugly but not too tightly. I had read on some similar items that the zipper was unprotected and became a scratch-hazard itself but I'm happy to report that I can't see that being a problem here; it has just enough of an inner guard to prevent the zipper from touching my Macbook. The colors are slightly more monochrome than the picture leads you to believe but it's still a pretty design, I like it!

My one complaint would be that the material is quite thin. I wasn't expecting top quality for the price but it's still a little disappointing. It'll definitely keep away scratches, which is what I wanted, but I doubt it would protect against rougher conditions, drops, etc. (Of course I have no plans to torture my laptop, but just in case!) This probably won't be my permanent sleeve but it's good enough to keep me happy for now.

All in all worth buying as a cheap, fun sleeve.

I bought this case for my new 13-inch Macbook Pro. It's pretty, although not as vibrant as it seems in the picture the colors are nice, but it doesn't "pop" as much.

I'm not exactly thrilled with this case. It's nice overall, and I'm not going to toss it, but I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for possible replacements. The zipper pulls are attached to the zippers by triangles of bent metal, like usual, but these bent completely open and the zipper pulls dropped off the first time I put any pressure on them. I'm not Rambo or anything they came off WAY too easily. Also, the reason I had to pull so hard on them was because the zippers have a nasty habit of getting caught on the corners; they drag over the lining and get stuck. It's not that the case is too small for my computer, either; this happens when the case is empty too. So, I replaced to the pulls with knotted ribbons (which are constantly falling off because they slide out of the gap on the zipper) and I'm careful zipping it up around the corners, and it seems to work. But, if you're looking for a completely hassle-free option, this case is probably not it.
