The shipping ended up being faster than Amazon said. I ordered on the 8th and received on the 17th so not too bad. When Amazon said it would arrive on the 30th I thought that was ridiculous. The backpack looks well made and will hopefully last my little guys Kindergarten year. The description did say that the backpack came with a "removable cape" and there was no such cape to be found. I purchased this backpack for my very forgetful 8 year old daughter. She is always forgetting something somewhere at the end of the day because it did not fit in her backpack. I am so happy with all the space! I opened the pockets expecting them to be half the size they actually were. This is a great product! I recently returned to school (at 45 yrs old) and the first 2 days I carried a backpack and thought I was going to die! I calculated my walk from the car to my first class at .8 mile, all carrying a backpack full of laptop, 2 books, notebooks, pens, water bottle, etc. Way too heavy! A year ago I purchased this backpack for my 10 yr old daughter after trying so many others. This is THE BEST wheeled backpack I have ever purchased and well-worth the money. I bought a more expensive/so called hi-quality wheeled backpack from a "BIG" sporting goods retailer and after a few weeks,the zipper broke. There are more pricey backpacks out there in backpack "LAND" that claim to be the best quality and most durable. I doubt it!! My money is on High Sierra from now until my daughter attends high school. They have the best styles and colors...and are virtually kid-proof. No backpack lasts forever, but most kids don't handle them delicately anyway. If you're on the fence, GET OFF and buy High Sierra. After adjusting the shoulder pads, the black "straps" hang down at the bottom of the back of the bag. My daughter was putting the bag from her shoulder at one point to rolling it at another (rolling to the bus and shoulder to get on the bus). If the shoulder pads and straps are not tucked in when rolling, the black straps hanging down will not last my daughter's broke off within 2 days of use. So, it seems that it is not practical to use as both a roller and a strapped backpack easily.
My daughter loved it! We are going to Hawaii soon and this was the last thing she needed to be ready. It was shipped very quickly and it's good quality.

Great backpack. Just used it for two weeks traveling in Asia. Fits well and held up during multiple long days, carry on, check-in, etc. Would definitely recommend to others.
Smooth-rolling, quiet wheels. The end has 2 substantial feet so you can stand this duffel on end, and it won't tip; you have to arrange your heavy items to be on the side where the feet and wheels are located! Why else would they design feet on the end, it's meant to stand upright. I've used this bag on 4 trips and NEVER has it tipped over at the airport.

I purchased this bag from another vendor in the purple/love/peace print for my daughter, and it was really cute and as advertised fabric-wise. It even met my criteria for 20inch total length (approx) to qualify for carryon (international criteria). However, the zipper is not heavy duty and the zipper pulls have no option to place a lock on the closure. I realized that this would probably not be a good flight travel bag if it had to be gate checked so I returned it. For the price it's a very cute bag for casual car trips or overnights for young people, but I wouldn't recommend it for business or high frequency travelers. It appears to be good quality for its price point however and if this were just for casual use I'd have kept it. I would compare it favorably to similarly priced luggage from Target for example. This is a really nice SMALL bag for weekend/overnight trips.Is a perfect carryon for airlines.The only thing I can find wrong with it after 2 trips is it will not stand up straight when in line,u have to set it down like a duffle.Othwise not a bad bag,I had a coupon which made it more affordable too!I think the price is just a tid bit too high.But ya,I would buy again & recommend to a friend!The colors are supercool!
This year, for 3rd grade, my daughter(8 y/o) wanted a shoulder bag like the bigger kids. This bag (unlike most messenger bags) was perfect for her size. It's roomy enough inside to hold the textbooks but it's overall size is compact, so she doesn't look like she's carrying mom's bag. Only problem, so far, is that the front zipper pocket lining has come undone at the bottom seam. It's just the thin lining that covers the (thicker) outside canvas, so the pocket hasn't, technically, lost it's function. I'm sure I could buy some fabric tape and fix it up myself but, it happened within the first week of use!! This tells me that the bag is not durable and it may need more "fixes" in the near future. Someone might say that perhaps the item is not authentic Sanrio product, but in reality I've had problems like this before with Sanrio items. With something like this, you're not buying quality, you're buying a name (with a super cute character on the front).

My 3 year old grandson loved his backpack. He really loves anything Turtles so when I saw this online I ordered it for him and he loved it.
She absolutely loved it, small, and "like totally adorable, the cutest thing ever." From my perspective I will say it isn't that protective, it is more for style and keeping minor scratches/dings off it. Still, it is affordable and made her happy so I approve.

I got this bag when it was on sale, $39. The original price is 100+. This bag definitely doesn't worth over 100 bucks. The materials it uses are not the cheapest kind, but not much better either. A fair purchase price might be around $40.
Well my daughter and I liked it at first, but then she only got to use it for 5 days until the zipper teeth began to break off. Very cheaply made and not worth the money! She had to end up going back to her old backpack since you can't zip this one anymore. I wouldn't reccommend unless they begin to put better zippers in this product.

This backpack is very well made and is as tough as it looks. The zippers are heavy duty and there is storage galore. I decided to return this backpack because it is too thick overall with semi rigid sides. It doesn't crumple up into a thinner backpack as some might expect. It is almost like carrying a soft side suitcase on your back. If you understand that it semi rigid on the sides and you have a lot to carry, then you will not be disappointed. I bought this for my Neice's birthday. She turned 4 in October. My Sister-in-law and brother tell me that she really loves it and takes it with her to pre-school.
I was excited to get this backpack for my boyfriend for our Africa camping trip. The backpack had a nice design and he loved it at first. The problem was the cheap build quality. The seams came loose in three different places and the buckle of one of the straps just broke completely after 2 months use. While it seems like a great idea and it looks nice, it feel apart WAY to easy. Super cheaply built. Save your money!!!
