When I saw this bag I thought it was so cute, and when it came in the mail it was too cute. However in less than a week of using the backpack the front zipper broke, which was annoying. The bag itself is smaller than I expected but its a good bag besides that.

I was so excited to receive this bag for my freshman daughter. She started using it the first week of Sept and after about 6 weeks of light use, the zipper split and frayed..and it can't be fixed. She's so upset, as am I. Beautiful bag, but it doesn't last very long. I am very disappointed.

I bought this for my grandson and it is just perfect. Looks better than picture. It is very functional and easy for a toddler to maneuver. This is the third item I have order from this company and each one is excellent. We now have the backpack, the duffel, and the rolling luggage!

We're going on a 7 day cruise and everything my 2 year old needs fit well into this suitcase, including swimmers and beach towel I will admit to being a super packer which means I roll all clothing. This case is sturdy and roomy and the outside pockets let the little one have easy access to small toys and snacks. For children a little older, there is plenty of room for a week at Grandma's, although there would not be room for bigger toys or large cuddlies. The zippers work well and the design is enough like Mom or Dad's to make the little one feel grown up. Another reviewer suggested this would fit under the seat of a plane. I fly a fair amount and this case seems a little too big for that, but it would certainly be no problem in the luggage compartments above the seat. The price of this was a lot less than other comparable luggage I looked at but I was not disappointed in any way. It does not have ball rollers, but that is not important on a case this size. The zippers are color coordinated and strong, as is the stitching. I have nothing negative to say about this case, and I rely strongly on customer reviews, so I hope this helps. I wish I had another grandchild so I could buy another one.

High Sierra Pack-N-Go 20" Duffel

This carry on bag fit very well under the seat or in the overhead compartment. I was able to fit a long weekend's worth of clothes into it. The bonus bag is great. The carry on is very attractive!

It's super cute, larger than I thought, and really easy to store. Might not end up being the most durable, but again, very useful for overnight stays and doesn't take up a lot of space when not in use.

I wanted a sturdy bag that would work for 1-2 night stay. I was able to fit clothes in here for 2 days along with a small blanket easily. The print is fun and the toiletry case doubles as a holder for the bag when not in use. This is a great buy. The only problem I had was the shoulder stap was annoying....so I simply cut it off and use the 2 handles.

My only concern when purchasing this product was sizing, but it fit my MacBook Pro 13 perfectly, with a little room to spare which I assume would fit it with a hardcover, although I don't actually have one. I really like that this can be used as a sleeve alone or that I can put on the strap and carry it by itself, it's perfect for all situations. The bag seems durable so far, no fraying or obvious weak points.

The built neoprene material is great as a laptop bag. I have a white macbook and this fits my laptop perfectly, I wanted a bag without the extra pockets since the macbook battery lasts a long time. You can also unhook the straps and just use it as a sleeve and put it in backpack. The strap is very sturdy and easy to adjust. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This bag is lovely. Excactly what I wanted except it doesn't fit the MacBook Air 11.6 inch snug like you want a neoprene sleeve to fit. It is so big, I think it would be big on a 13 inch as well. Too bad because it is really cute!

DAKINE Men's Point Surf Pack

We purchased this back pack for a cruise so that we could keep all of the things we needed with us while off of the ship. The front compartment enabled us to store documents and make them easily reachable. The sunglass pouch did an excellent job of protecting sunglasses.

The back pack was also comfortable to wear for long periods (like waiting to board, waiting in line on the Lido deck, etc.). Even better, the side pocket was perfect for holding a large water bottle.

We abused this back pack (dragged, kicked, sand and sun) and it still looks new. We look forward to many years of use.

I gave it three stars because, let's get real.. what can you possibly expect from a $30.00 bag other than for it to perform like, well, a $30.00 bag? It has enough pockets, good quality zippers (so far), and it does have some padding to protect a laptop, but I actually ended up getting a sleeve for the laptop as well, just in case. I should note that while the 15" Macbook Pro does fit, it just barely slips by the opening.

I really really love it. Excellent materials, the dimensions are perfect, the color is the same as the picture and has a very good quality!

Really i recommend this bag, has a lot of sections, for my laptop, hard disk, books, moleskine notepad, for my ipad, etc. I love it!

Mountainsmith Lumbar-Recycled Series Swift TLS R Backpack

I purchased the cobalt Mountainsmith Tour in November 2011 and loved it for school and bike commutes, however the only problem was the size. It was simply too big for the "daily purse/bag" or lite hiker.

After a lot of research I decided to go with Mountainsmith again and purchase this new Swift TLS in black. It is absolutely perfect for the daily use bag! It fits all misc daily items and still has room for more without looking too bulky.

The front shove-it pocket is deeper and more secure than indicated in the pictures too. It can safely fit a phone, notepad, pens, mp3, and whatever else you decide to stuff. The compression straps can also double in function to hold a spare shirt or light rain shell. The hip belt is perfect too, just the right size and durability with airflow and security.

I would say the only drawbacks I have experienced with this bag are the chest strap (too slender/minimal adjustment and does not sit right on my back and shoulders), no haul handle (such as the one found on the tour) and difficulty carrying my extra large water bottles (this of course defeats the "light day bag" concept however).

Overall this is an awesome pack and I highly recommend it!

For the price, this is exactly what we were looking for in a small day pack and as a front pack for longer hikes. It's the perfect size for a couple of water bottles, a camera, snacks, a small first aid kit, map, compass, and other small things you might need to reach for during a hike. We are very happy with this bag.

Very light weight and it holds quite a bit of stuff for how slim the profile is. I really like a lot of pockets and zippers for things and this bag doesn't disappoint in this way. More important, though, the pockets are large and spacious I don't like when every pocket provided in a bag is small or unusable. This bag does not have that. I got the grey bag for a change partly because the black was out of stock and also because I thoguht I would do something different. One note on the color the grey is much darker than it looks on the website. Closer to a darker grey than the light grey it looks like. Nice but different. The red stiching is nice and durable. It appears to be a very durable bag, I'll report back if that proves to be different.

This day pack has lots of pockets and room. I can keep my small electronics, keys. and money where it is easy to get to. I did not use it for my computer yet. I travel for short periods of time and I like the fact that it holds alot of different items.

This bag is a must buy for any urban commuter travelling on public transit. It's slim form factor lets you navigate crowds with ease but you can still carry all your essentials with room to spare. I usually carry my 15" macbook, a packed lunch, kindle, charger, umbrella (for really rainy days) and there's still room left! I like the appearance of this book bag for my son. In terms of quality, this book bag is a piece of garbage. At this point the book bag & lunch bag are completely unusable. Lunch bag was never used opened & closed maybe once, zipper came off track. My son had his first day of school yesterday, used book bag once, went to pick him up, both zippers are now off track & can't be repaired. For the book bags marketing age range, you would think this would be made a more durable. Mind you, no textbooks, just a folder and a small book were inside. Save your money & put it towards something with better quality. Quite disappointed.

This bag is pretty much as pictured, the dimensions from corner to corner of this boxy item are: 24" L x 13.5" W x 14.5" T. The backpack straps are pretty comfy compared to other canvas military packs from Rothco. Stitching and zippers appear to be of good quality. Not sure how this will work as an airplane carry-on but at the very least it will make an excellent laundry/general gear pack.

i wanted something for short hikes into a state forest for camping. Something for times when a short hike allows me the convenience of a sloppier packing job. I prefer the duffel to a day pack because i can access everything in it, without unpacking. This one is very sturdy. i wish it had just a little more structure to improve its manners when used as a backpack.

Brenthaven 2244101 ProStyle Slim Pack for 15-Inch Laptop / Ultrabook / Macbook - Black

I've been using this back for about a month now, and it's been great for carrying my 13" MacBook Pro. It's padded notebook enclosure is excellently protects and accommodates it, yet it could also easily accomodate larger notebooks. The front pockets carry my power adapter, Texas Instruments TI-89 Titanium Graphing Calculator, the power cord, pens, pencils, and an five subject notebook. I haven't found much use for the device pocket, it would be great for storing iPods or my phone, but it's inconvenient to open as I am required to take the bag off of my back. It comfortably fits either shoulder or both.

I have purchased numerouse backpacks over the years, never finding one that met my expectations. Finally, I struck paydirt ! I have never heard of Brenhaven, and found them accidentally while surfing through hundreds of backpacks on the internet. I watched the video on the ProStyle Slim and I was impressed. I decidied to take a chance and I was not disappointed. A perfect fit for my 14" laptop, my IPhone and the rest of my gadgets I use on a daily basis. I say "almost love it" because it's very smart in it's design. Looks like something a professional wold carry, not a college or high school student would. The one and only flaw I found is that the shoulder straps do not stay in place. Every time I adjust it to be perfect within minutes it slips. I thought of sewing the straps in place but that would ruin the feature of adjustments.

Overall it's certainly functional and well designed with a very tailored finished look. I said 4 stars, but if the straps stayed in place it would be 8 stars. :)

I bought my bag about a year ago and it has been wonderful. I don't think this is anything they should change, but I have a workstation laptop and it is a very tight fit, but the computer itself is pretty large, so for the average computer, I would say it is perfect. Good bag, feels sturdy and the stitching is really decent, only one of the pocket zippers is faulted but I don't believe it's a fault in the bag in general but just mine.The flap pocket has a hidden zipper underneath and it's a little difficult to open and close as there is no tab attached to it(that's the believed fault).

I got better pictures on the Brenthaven site itself but the price was too high so bought it on amazon.com . There were two liner colour options that I viewed on the Brenthaven site, one with the orange liner and the other with a white Brenthaven liner, I ended up with the white, there was no indication as to which one was being shipped on amazon.com only that the bag was black.

I like the raincoat, it's handy in rainy Trinidad weather.

It fits my 14" ultrabook laptop with alot of room but it works out that I can put my adapter in with it and still fit my cell phone documents and tablet when I'm moving around and not have to worry about over-packing or bursting any zippers or stitching.

I like it.

Just great, this bag is awesome. I use it for my bike, going to university classes, shopping, and even camping. Very versatile little bag, and its very lightweight so don't expect it to lug 5 textbooks, but 1 or 2 works great, perfect for groceries. The straps are very long so I cut them, biking with those slapping you sucks, but I imagine this allows it to work for people of all shapes.

I like the bags size, handles, durable material. Expect to wash the bag as there is an odor to the material the bag is made with. I didn't do it yet so I cannot tell you how well it washes.

I have only used this as a grocery tote, so I don't know how it works as a backpack.

The biggest plus, for me is that because the bottom can be packed flat, there is not the everything-sinks-to-the bottom lower back fatigue/ache of a backpack. And when you need to place items in it, it stands up, it doesn't lose it's shape and become limp and unmanageable.

I've been using this every single day since I bought it several months ago.

I put it to a brutal test; heavy books back and forth from the library; too many groceries.

Shows no signs of wear at all.

I will buy another when I finally whip it to death.
