Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack Diaper Bag (Brilliant Brussels)

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack Diaper BagThis diaper bag is of excellent quality, easy to clean, practical to carry and pretty roomy to put in my baby things in there and still have more space. Highly recommend it!

I ordered a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag after watching my cousin use the same one through THREE kids. I knew the quality was good and it would last a long time. I have not been disappointed! The fold out changing pad is invaluable and has been a real life saver on our various outings. The inner section is HUGE and can hold way more than you should ever have to carry around at one time. The straps are sturdy yet comfortable. And the backpack straps are fabulous when you just need to have your hands free to deal with the kid. I would order this bag again!

IST Heavy Duty Gear Holder Mesh Backpack, Heavy Duty Mesh Bag (MGB325)

IST Heavy Duty Gear Holder Mesh Backpack, Heavy Duty Mesh BagWhen I received this bag, I thought it was too big.....until I used it on my recent cruise. I used it on one snorkel and two dive excursions, and it is the perfect size for my fins, mask, snorkel, two towels, a change of clothing, and various toiletries. The inner pocket is actually three in one one deep pocket the length of the backpack, and two shallow ones at the top, with a zippered top. Very happy with this bag and it will obviously last for years, unlike the lightweight mesh bags that fall apart.

Kelty Frisco Daypack

Kelty Frisco DaypackI bought this backpack for my 9-year-old son for school this year, and it has held up really well. It is made so well and have had no rips or tears or any kind of wear on it all really. My child is tough on his backpacks, and that is why if your's is, I recommend going the extra money to get a really good one. Also...we will use this on vacations where we go hiking, so I feel like I am really getting my money's worth here. Kelty is a great company making a terrific, durable product.

Ogio Lucas Backpack

Ogio Lucas BackpackI've only had this bag for about a month, but I am a longtime Ogio fan/customer and I know a good bag when I've got one! I got this bag to replace my old ogio bag (6 years old), which was falling apart. Considering the fact that bag went through 5 countries, and survived NYC for years...that's saying a lot. Anyway, this new "Lucas" backpack is a slim, and sleek bag. My favorite features are the side zip pockets (most bags just use like...cargo netting for their side pockets), and the chest buckle (good if you're doing any biking or running and want the bag to stay secured on you). I can fit a pair of jeans, a belt, 3 shirts, socks, and a pair of shoes into the main compartment...so it's just the right size. The material seems sturdy, zippers are sound...I hope this one holds up as long as the last one.

I love this product. It has a pliable outer pink cover. Not only do I adore the color, I love the fact it protects the contents of the backpack. It is roomy, leaving plenty of room for my 15 inch laptop--and more room to spare. I like the two main compartments and the many pockets within. The section with the shell cover has a velcro strip on each side and a heavy duty snap closure so it can open completely. I'm not sure how I would use this feature, but found it cool. The padding on the back is in a u-shape--along the small of the back and each side of the spine. The shoulder straps are wide, with a zippered pocket on the front of one strap. I'll use it for quick access to my cell phone. A nice surprise is the fit of the strap that buckles in the front. Instead of the waist, it fits right below my chest, a much more comfortable position. I love this backpack!

timi & leslie Hart Diaper Bag

timi & leslie Hart Diaper Bag, EspressoThis is my third Timi & Leslie diaper bag. While most people wouldn't see the need to have 3 diaper bags (well I have 2 skip hop bags too ... so 5 total), it's because they think of diaper bags as something you have for the baby.

The reason I love these diaper bags is because they support the idea that a baby isn't something you have a bag for -a baby is something you need to incorporate into your life. So it's more like you need all your handbags to be updated to handle diapers and toys and messy clothing. Not that you just need another bag. You can actually have different styles and colors and use them like you'd use any other handbag you mgiht have.

I use this like a handbag ... like a work bag ... like a toss-over-my-shoulder and go out with my friends bag. It's really a well designed and high quality bag, with a super soft (fake) leather than feels nice to hold. And it really has many well thought out compartments and accessories. I especially like the little clutch for your wallet. I absolutely use these bags regardless of whether the baby is with me. I have all 3 stocked with a couple of spare diapers/wipes, a toy or two, a food pouch, some formula, and a change of clothes. And there's still plenty of room for my stuff. Because I have all 3 bags stocked, I can grab any one. I'm not saying other people need more than 1 you don't. Just trying to stress just how much this really looks and feels like a stylish bag that fits into your lifestyle.

The main selling point of the Hart over the other great Timi & Leslie bags is that it works as a backpack. The straps are ample, so it's not a tight little teeny-bopper backpack. It looks and feels good on. For reference, I am 5'9 and carrying more than a bit too much baby weight, and this fits me just fine and I feel comfortable wearing it around. Truth is, I usually use a different Timi & Leslie bag with a cross-body strap, but this one is the one I grab when I'm using the baby carrier and need the front of my body to be mostly free.

The only downside to this bag is that if you want something you can hand to a guy (the baby's father, for example), it may be an issue for him since it very much looks like a woman's bag and not like a diaper bag. So maybe some guys would rather not have this be the Family Diaper Bag.

Anyway, I wholly recommend this bag. I love it. And this style specifically for those who baby wear. It's definitely the most compatible for that.

This bag has it all, extra straps, a milk bottle carrier, good looks, outside zippered compartments, and a soft brown expresso leather-like material with a faint metallic sheen. However, keep in mind that the top is a typical drawstring backpack top. If you have small items, they'll spill out if you have to put the bag under the plane seat in front of you, for example. The backpack straps are actually thin webbing, so you won't want to wear it as a backpack for very long, but it's nice that the option is available. Other than the drawstring and the thin straps, I like everything about this bag, so I give it 4 out of five stars.

Buy timi & leslie Hart Diaper Bag Now

I will start off this review by stating I do not use this timi & leslie Diaper Bag as a baby diaper bag. I do caregiving for some very disabled people, and I use this bag for them. Since A) many of the needs of small children are the same as for the elderly or disabled and B) this is a growing need, I thought I'd review this bag for those Amazon shoppers looking for solutions.

When you care for an adult, the last thing you want to be toting around is a neon pink diaper bag with elephants or whatever stamped all over it. People need their dignity. That being said, I have destroyed many a purse trying to carry the necessary wipes, liquids, medicines, emergency supplies, and food that are essential to get me and mine from A to B. This bag could not have been more perfect. It looks exactly like a gorgeous purse, and not one of the dozen people I showed it to realized it was a diaper bag. I use the lined bottle bag for transporting liquids, the dirty clothes bag for soiled items, the many zippered compartments for medicine bottles, the inside key fob for my wallet, the button-sealed inner section for important medical information, and everything else fits inside the roomy interior. This bag got soaked in the rain several times and dried off beautifully. The extra straps work to turn the bag into a backpack if I need both hands to push a wheelchair. The included handbag is very cute.

Drawbacks are very few. Because of the shape, the bag can tip over onto the back seat of your car rather easily, especially when only partially full. The top has a cinch-style closure; a zippered top would have been better for preventing everything from falling out. There's no ideal spot for a cellphone; I have another bag with a mesh compartment on the outside that is better for carrying a phone (you don't always have time up unzip a bunch of stuff to get to your phone). That's pretty much it for the downsides.

Adult care is a fast-growing area of life, and everything I've seen commercially to meet the needs of caregivers is hideous and/or depressing. So I use this. If you're a new Mom or shopping for one, you will love this bag. But even if you're not, very very useful and rating:

GRADE: A

A higher price point, but worth every penny.

My daughter is using this for a backpack to hold the stuff appurtenant to hauling around two young children [*lots* of stuff!]. The quality is great, very tough and attractive with a pebble-leather look. The feel is soft and pliable.

The zippers are all brass and they require just a little use to get them going but I ran into no fouled ones. A little soap on them and they worked beautifully.

There is no end to the pockets and nooks on the bag so it's easy to keep your stuff separated. The inside offers a nice slick lining and everything goes in and comes out of the main section quite easily, quick access. Two sets of straps and extra brass hooks-ons on the bag make it useable either as a backpack or as an over the shoulder bag.

What more can be said? It's first-class and will clearly last a very long time.

Highly recommended.

I received this as a gift in exchange for an honest review:

So although my children have moved on from the 'diaper bag' stage, I am in need more than ever before of a bag that can hold all that I need, and at the same time, not look lame. I remember registering for a diaper bag a few years back, boy things have changed since then. This is by far the most beautiful bag I have ever had, AND it comes with all the perks of a diaper bag. So maybe for some, this doesn't meet their standards of a nice bag, but for me, I'm coming at it from the perspective of it works really well to keep me organized with multiple children.

Some of the features I really like:

1. It's a fake leather. This is great from a PETA perspective, but for me that feature is great because anything that gets spilled on it wipes away easily with a baby wipe.

2. The multiple inside pockets. I can use one side for me, the other for the kids, keeps things organized.

3. The key ring. Critical to getting the kids in the car faster, no more searching to the bottom of my bag for my keys.

4. The construction. It isn't a flimsy bag, very well made, no random strings hanging out from places, and well placed buckles and straps.

5. The inside small "purse". I use it everyday for small trips. It only holds my small Coach wallet and smartphone, which is exactly what I need it for.

Personally, I obviously don't need the bottle holder, but it will hold drinks for my young kids. I have had so many supposed leak-proof cups spill inside my purse, this will make things easier. I also don't need the diaper changing pad, but that would have come in super handy when I was in airports or other public restrooms and there was no diaper changing area (or it was too gross to use).

I got this is espresso, and it's super cute. I do like the backpack straps, and like that they are optional. For me, I could either go with a super compact bag, but it doesn't really hold much, or use a bag like this and always be sure I had everything I needed. And at the same time look "cool". I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

High Sierra FastForward Wheeled Pack (Red, Charcoal)

High Sierra FastForward Wheeled PackI bought this backpack for my daughter who is in 5th grade. I figured she could use the laptop pouch later on when she actually had a laptop to use. The backpack is sturdy and rolls well. My suggestions to improve the design would be to make the handle smoother to pull and also to not have the shaft protrude so far into the main compartment. Space is reduced fairly dramatically with the interior of the handle but I guess there isn't a lot you can do about that. I felt the Calpack backpacks had more room for books but weren't quite as sturdy as this pack and also not as nice looking. My daughter can fit her lunch, her binder, and one book but not much else.

Pluses: rolls well, looks great, sturdy

Minuses: space capacity not as good as other backpacks, handle retraction not very smooth.

I just purchased on 7/24/2007 for the 2007-2008 school year and already the handle on the bag is broken. I like the material and the straps, but this shouldn't be happening already.

Buy High Sierra FastForward Wheeled Pack (Red, Charcoal) Now

An excellent, very sturdy, fairly light-weight bag, for either wheels or backpack. It looks like it's made of a truly tough material, has a couple of front zippered pockets a smallish one for large iPod-type objects, and a really large one with inner pockets and flaps and pencil-holders sketchbooks, folders, magazines, etc probably even a small laptop. And the main compartment is, of course, huge easily stores a few days' clothes and toiletries, plus odds & ends has a couple of good-size inner pockets also. Sturdy telescoping handle (mechanism takes up a small amount of space on the back surface of the large compartment.) Sturdy-looking wheels. Just got back from a trip to the Mainland with this bag as carry-on oh, yes, there's also a good-size outside pocket on the back for magazines and last-minute purchases (water bottle, newspaper, book etc...)

A fantastic buy, IMHO!

Read Best Reviews of High Sierra FastForward Wheeled Pack (Red, Charcoal) Here

This bag held up well travelling as a rolling carryon on a medium-length trip with a plane change, 3 other carryons, a car seat and a baby. So you can guess it got a little abuse on the trip, but it held up fine. No problems with the single strut handle or the wheels. It never once did that annoying flip/roll that my carryons sometimes do.

I didn't think I'd like the way the laptop is contained in the bag: the pocket is in the front flap instead of the back of the bag. But it worked just fine and my fears of the laptop slipping out when I opened the bag were unfounded. I have a big, heavy 17" Toshiba monster and it fit perfectly, along with all my other equipment.

The only complaint I would have is that with the weight of the bag, computer and accessories, I did not even attempt to use it as a backpack and I'm not sure I ever would.

I bought this bag for my last two semesters in college. After I bought my laptop, and put heavy textbooks in a regular backpack, carrying the backpack around was really taking a toll on my back. So after i purchased this bag, my back pain was relieved because its on wheels.

The only thing I would improve about this bag is make it out of waterproof material for when it rains.

Arc'teryx Cierzo 35 Backpack - 2136cu in

Arc'teryx Cierzo 35 BackpackDon't buy this if you think you are buying an all purpose day pack. There is very little structure to the pack and it works best with lightweight stuff and fully packed. It folds up tightly and works great as summit pack or to carry as an extra pack to separate gear while going for water etc. Like all Arcteryx gear it is extremely well made.

Leopard Animal Print Faux-fur Carrying Case Sleeve for Apple MacBook 13 inch Notebook Laptop Comput

Leopard Animal Print Faux-fur Carrying Case Sleeve for Apple MacBook 13 inch Notebook Laptop ComputerI love this cute and functional laptop sleeve. My new MacBook Pro 13" fits snugly inside and there are no worries of it sliding around. The zipper seems to function smoothly so far, and opens wide enough to allow easy access both in and out. Decorative zipper pull makes it easy to grip and zip. The exterior is a velvety short-nap faux fur which prevents slipping when holding on to it, and the inside is a soft black neoprene to provide a bit of padding and prevent any scratches or damages to the computer. The case appears well-stitched and it's also very lightweight. Fits nicely inside my larger tote bag. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely cozy cover for my 13'' laptop. I like the easy in an out, the zipper and the cool animal design. No leopard was hurt in it's production and it works with all my eclectic outfits...It additionally fits with the sleeve into a bag with handles, so I am truly mobil! I recommend it!

Dakine 23-Litre Capitol Pack

Dakine 23-Litre Capitol Packgot this backpack a few ago but just started using it this week and heres what i think about it:

Pros:

-capable of carrying heavy stuff (books, laptop, etc)

-color looks great

-price is okay

-came sooner than expected

-packaged nicely

-strap are comfortable even when its loaded

-roomy

Cons:

-looks big but what can i expect from an 18 inch

-not sure if its because its not worn out yet, but the backpack seems very stiff and zipper is loud (specially during class)

-inner material of the backpack gets these white marks which is very visible & makes it look ugly from the inside

(marks just by sliding books/notebooks in and out)

-bottom of backpack looks like it may give out within a year..looks worn out just by 2 weeks of use

I bought this as a gift and the person seems to love it and uses it every day. I think they're pretty satisfied.

Disney Tangled Rapunzel Princess 16" Rolling Roller Backpack Bag Tote Luggage

Disney Tangled Rapunzel Princess 16' Rolling Roller Backpack Bag Tote LuggageMy daughters use this rolling backpack to transport their ice skating gear. It can be used as a traditional backpack with should straps as well. It's adorable and functional.

I've ordered this Tangled backpack and Amazon shipped me an Ariel backpack instead. I could not exchange it via online services and had to call and spend nearly 20 minutes arranging the return and exchange, the rep was very pleasant and helpful, and made sure I received the replacement on time for the little girl's birthday party. I received the replacement, but it was the Ariel backpack instead, again. So I ended up with lost time, two wrong backpacks and no gift for the party. Hence, the seller gets 1 star from me for trying and failing. As far as the backpack's quality goes, I would give it 3 stars mostly for pretty colors. It's a throw away backpack that won't last a year, but will sure make a little girl happy because it's so cheerful and colorful.

Buy Disney Tangled Rapunzel Princess 16" Rolling Roller Backpack Bag Tote Luggage Now

I bought this backpack with the intention of having something my princess-loving 3 year old could store all her pertinent "stuff" in for when we do day trips to Grandma's house. And the fact that it's wheeled means she can pull it herself without me having to feel like a Sherpa every time we leave the house. The handle snaps firmly in place and retracts with a decent amount of pressure. There are two side pockets that have Velcro, 3 main pockets, and a smaller back pocket where the straps are. The bag is really lightweight, which is good, since by the time she's filled it, its not, but it does tip over if too full. The canvas seems really durable, the plastic wheels/handle less so (tougher to wheel on carpet), and since I don't plan on having it thrown around an airport conveyer belt, I'm ok with the cheaper plastic.

This just arrived today so we have not had time to use it yet (other than my almost 4 year old dragging it around the house). The construction quality is much better than I anticipated. There are two large zipper pocket portions and one small on the front. There is velcro on the back to keep the straps from dragging when it's being rolled. When my 4 year old daughter puts it on her back it is quite large but is perfect for what we bought it for. We are going to use it as her carry on for the airplane. This will fit more than enough. I would say it would be perfect for a long weekend as well.

Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack for 15-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - Gray (TEMD-115)

Thule EnRoute Mosey Daypack for 15-Inch MacBook Pro and 10-Inch Tablets - GraySo after discovering this pack on Thule's website, I was nervous that I could not find a review on it ANYWHERE, I ultimately purchased it from Amazon, and below are my first impressions

One of the first things I did was load it up with essentials, 15" Macbook Pro Retina, Nexus 7 tablet, car adapter, rain jacket, snacks, Nikon D5200 SLR w 18-200mm lens, SB-400 flash (in the crush proof pocket). Macbook chager (in the other crush proof pocket), everything fit great, and the pack was surprisingly comfortable with about 20lbs of gear in it. I really like how it sits close on my shoulders, should be great for motorcycle rides in the spring.

Since I will use this pack with a lot of electronics I did a quick weather test, I filled the main pocket with a beach towel, and I stuffed paper towels in all the critical areas, then I put it on and stood in the shower on full blast for 5 minutes. Here are the results.

Top compartment (zipper on very top of bag) = Soaked

Crush Proof pockets = little leakage, just slightly damp

Inside the main compartment: laptop area = bone dry

Tablet area = bone dry

very bottom of pack (where the beach towel was) = very wet, not quite soaked.

Since I plan on taking my DSLR in this pack I am going to purchase this to keep it dry and protected http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004S7ZVQO/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I kow this isn't advertised as a waterproof pack, but the wickening of the faberic performed well, and if caught in a downpour your electronics should be safe.

Overall I am very satsified with my purchase, it's the perfect size / comfort / styling for an urban daypack.

Enough features to be an urban pack, and enough room to be an overnight (or gym) pack. This Thule pack is very well-made. The material has a tough feel but sophisticated look. The zippers are strong and there are no seams for them to catch on (a pet peeve of mine). Here's the run-down on functions and storage...

Your computer will go in an inside pocket at the back of the pack. The laptop slot, which fits my 13" MBA very easily, is padded on all sides (including the bottom of the pack), except for the top which is open and does not have any closure. The top of the pack cinches down to keep the laptop in place, but when the bag is open, you will need to be careful to no let your laptop slide out.

Your iPad will go in a shallow pocket attached to the laptop pocket, This one is not padded on the front and will leave the top of your large iPad sticking out a few inches.

The rest of the inside of the pack is cavernous. I was able to fit three days worth of clothes for a recent car-camping trip.

On the inside front of the pack there are three pockets (one large and secured with a small piece of velcro, and two unsecured smaller pockets. I struggled to find a good use for the larger (4" x 11") pocket, but ended up using it for snacks and power bars. A charger didn't quite work for me there. It was too bulky and caused the bag to slouch over too much. The two smaller pockets are good for your phone and a couple of cords.

There is a good-sized pocket and zippered mesh pocket on the top of the bag. This is where I ended up putting my charger and cords. Keys and wallet can go in the zippered mesh pocket (there is a key chain holder there). The mesh pocket would also be a great place for toiletries.

On each side of the pack there is a reinforced zippered pocket that is designed for sunglasses or your phone. The inside is a soft, felt-like material. There is no dedicated media port, but the top of the zipper would allow you to pass a headphone cord through. The sunglass pockets are very well reinforced and are a nice, well-designed feature. Won't quite fit goggles, however.

Below each sunglass pocket is a water bottle pocket. Fits your typical 0.5L water bottle fine. The good news is that it also fits a 1 L Nalgene-type bottle without any trouble. The depth of the pocket holds the water bottle in place. The fabric around the bottle stretches, so your bottle is secure whether it is 0.5 or 1 L.

That's it for pockets. There is a total of 7 lashing points on the front of the pack. I use small caribiners to hang my flashlight, headlamp, and other items. One complaint about the pack is that the latch to secure the top of the pack is very subject to slipping out. It is a passive, pass-through latch that has a tendency to work its way out. I found myself resetting that latch way too frequently. Why not use a more secure latch? I'm guessing it would have taken away from the sleek look of the bag. Still, I would rather not have to mess with the latch so frequently, especially with my laptop counting on it staying secure. This bag is also lacking a waste strap. The sternum strap is fine, but if you load this up, it will start bearing down on your shoulders. There is generally very little in the way of adjustments, particularly at the shoulder, and you cannot cinch the contents down to make them more balance or secure.

Overall a good bag that tries to balance looks with functionality. I overall prefer my North Face day pack for its overall versatility, but this bag is very nice as a relatively simple pack that you can just toss stuff into and go.

I'm very pleased to have this pack for an unusual use. I do genealogy work, have for decades, and the materials are valuable. I'm too old to reproduce it. This pack becomes my travel pack for daytrips or weekends to sites, libraries, cemeteries, and even the document rich courthouse. It's nice to have all the electronics and materials in one pack to pass through courthouse security easily.

My bag is gray, and the color is a few tones lighter than the Amazon image appears, FYI for those color conscious.

My adaption shows the versatility for this item.

1.....Main compartment is large enough to hold my laptop and a full 3" thick 3-ring binder of data. A separate compartment, with protective padding between holds my KindleFire easily. Between these larger compartments is an 8"x8" sleeve that can hold a ready supply of new charts. On the front of this main partition is 4 additional sleeve pockets two 4"x6 ½" and two 4"x5". These hold pencils, erasers, highlighters, scissors, extra batteries, flash drives, discs, and even coins to pay for copies (thus the convenience for passing through security, jeans pockets empty, it's all in the bag.)

As duel protection, a drawstring nylon top can be optionally closed over the inside contents prior to lowering the top flap and securing it with a fool-proof strap clasp.

2.....The lid that covers and secures tight over this compartment has 2 of its own zippered places, one inside the other. One holds my snacks, a net portion, which also has an attached short strap with a metal clip to secure a valuable like a camera or keys. The larger compartment I carry 5"x*' pads of paper for notes.

3.....The front has 2 (one each side) stiff sided zippered storage units that easily hold anything 3"x6"x2", and the locations where I keep a camera (fast use) and cell phone. I also keep a spare pair of glasses there (yes, I have lost a pair in the grass before.) Below these pockets are sleeves with an elastic open top that holds water bottles and/or a slender coffee thermos for me (and peppermints.) I also carry a damp washcloth in a Ziploc.

4.....There are 7 plastic 2" loops that have yet served no purpose for me.

5.....Padding on the pack's back and straps make it comfortable to carry as a backpack for extended times. A strong nylon loop at the top of the straps allows the pack to easily be carried in one hand, my usual method.

6..... Pack itself weighs less than 1 ½ lbs so carrying load is completely up to the user.

That's just my use, and everyone will be able to adapt this item for their own use.

Perhaps a backpack diaper bag? Overnighter carryon?

Strong construction, as good as I've seen on a pack this size.

It's worth the money to protect valuable electronics and genealogy data.

It will be fun to read reviews in the future and see how many ways this pack has been adapted.

This bag is a little large overall, but my laptop sits in perfectly in the main compartment and the padded surface of the compartment offers good protection. I use the slip pocket to keep my Kindle Fire.

It comes with two side heat-molded compartments which are known for fragile gears; I keep my cell phone, sunglass and my camcorder. The bag can accommodate all kinds of gear and can take up to fifteen to twenty pounds of electronic paraphernalia. It also has a side pocket on the lower side where I keep my water bottle. One cool thing about this bag is that the padded backpack straps make it easier to carry the load. It is good for camping trip or weekend trips.

The materials are of good quality and the bag is strong, but the snap-in locking mechanism is not user-friendly. I give this product four-star for comfort, design and utility.

I commute back and forth from work and was looking for a smaller sized pack that would also hold my iPad, other electronic items and my lunch. This is the perfect pack!

The straps are well made and along with the padding on the back it is a very comfortable pack to wear. What I really like is it's compact enough that I can actually sit on the bus with the pack on my back. The main shoulder straps are substantial and well made and although very little padding, very comfortable and form fitting. It also has a chest strap that you can either clasp to help secure the pack to your body or just leave dangling. Plus, the chest strap rides along a channel, so it is fully adjustable up and down (although as a woman, I like it in the top position above my breasts). I kind-of wish these chest straps where removable, but not a big deal. I also wish it had a waist strap, but for the small size it's not absolutely necessary. I think this pack is a good size for either medium sized people, but might be to small if you're very overweight.

The size is perfect and it's fairly narrow, so if I need to run to the bus, I am able to swing my arms without any impedance. It's like a mini version on a full-sized pack and since it's fairly tall, I can pack a lot of stuff in it.

One other item that is quite unique to this pack. It has 2 sipper side pockets one of each side of the pack called "SafeZone" which are hard-case compartments. They are large enough for my big sunglasses and iPhone and I'm sure it would hold the largest android smart phone too. Lots of other pockets in the top compartment and inside, so plenty of areas to keep you organized. The main padded laptop holder is towards your back and it will hold an iPad or laptop. Under the hard-case compartments on the outside of the pack are two large-sized open pockets to hold water bottles. I like it that they are deep enough to hold the bottles securely and large enough to hold the large round nalgene plastic bottles, plenty of water for my day.

Well made, good quality zippers and the top clasp although a little tricky to figure out, is quick and secure. There is also a draw string closure at the top of the main compartment for extra security. And, even better, it is super light-weight material, yet strong and very well made, so I rate it a 5 star. This pack is awesome!!! Love the light gray color too!!!

Liberty Bags Large Lightweight Nylon Drawstring Backpack (8882)

Liberty Bags Large Drawstring Backpack, Lavender, OSThese bags are great for putting wet workout clothing in to carry home from gym. They are a good size, they are waterproof and they are washable. And dry well in the dryer. My husband has an assortment to keep in his locker and was quite pleased with the price.

I bought this bag for my son and it is great. It is large enough to hold a beach towel, change of clothes and still have room for more. It seems very sturdy and well made. The only down side is shipping was more than the bag.

Slightly bigger than I expected, but that's okay. I love all the colors they come in. After a hard time deciding what color to get, I ordered the hot pink one. I use it as a gym bag.

First, the good--

1) The bag was quite spacious. I've seen other drawstring bags with much smaller holds, and this one definitely has more than enough space for carrying towels, gym clothes, sports equipment, or--in a pinch--books or even a packaged lunch.

2) The fabric used is somewhat resistant to water. (Most likely by design.) I'm not saying it's absolutely waterproof, though; don't go dipping it into a bathtub and expect the items inside to stay dry.

3) It comes in many, MANY colors. At the time of writing this review, there were 14 different colors, and I wisely chose not to have the blindingly noticeable colors like bright pink or yellow. Navy blue is more than sufficient for me.

4) The price was very reasonable for its purpose. I bought this bag for just under ten dollars (including shipping!) and received it in less than five days. If you have particularly high standards for a drawstring bag, then I warn you--take the time to research other options. You will mostly get what you paid for.

Now, the bad--

1) My biggest concern is that the bag was very poorly built. Although it cost less than $10, I noticed tears in the fabric from carrying even 10 lb. loads. I didn't notice those until my roommate pointed them out to me, and foolishly thought the fabric would hold a 25 lb. load later on. Buyer beware: although the item is labeled as a "backpack", do NOT think it acts in substitute of a conventional backpack. The straps are about a half-inch wide, and will leave imprints in your shoulders with heavy loads. In extreme cases, the fabric WILL tear and you will be left with a hole in the bottom as I was.

2) The fabric is very thin and flimsy. And there isn't a lot of it. While it can hold a large number of items, I'd imagine that the paper-thin fabric would be very transparent in bright areas or if the bag is a bright color. In addition, with such a thin fabric, it's VERY easy to accidentally crush something since the shape of the bag does not hold under pressure.

3) The straps are non-adjustable. I have a relatively small torso (32"), so it was very difficult dealing with a bag which had straps made for a 38-42" chest. Often times, the bag will slip and fall from your shoulders because the arm holes are just too damn large.

4) No pockets. Not a one. It makes it hard to sort smaller items from the big, bulkier ones, but as I've repeated multiple times already, you get what you paid for.

Final Verdict--

While this bag is incredibly cheap as well as cheaply made, I am buying another one to replace my old bag just because of the price. Do be warned that it is recommended that you buy a different bag for heavier loads (at least 10 lbs.), but this particular bag is flexible and thin so it works as a way to further sort your stuff inside of a larger, sturdier space such as a cargo box or backpack.

3 / 5 stars

The bags are very inexpensive, however, they are not very durable. They are worth the money but you might need to buy an extra bag. Also, the bag is a little smaller than I expected.

High Sierra Sheridan Backpack

High Sierra Sheridan BackpackThe best feature about this backpack, compaired to others, is the extra support on the straps. It reduces stress on the back when it's loaded down. This backpack is also loaded with pockets, zippers, and compartments to organize everything. The fabric is heavy, durable, and water resistant. The zippers are sturdy and strong. The stitching also looks very durable. When I compared this to the many, many, other backpacks I've bought my kids over the years, the superior quality was obvious.

I recently purchased this backpack for my daughter for school and so far it has lived up to expectations. Here is what my daughter has to say about it: "The pattern looks like it does in the picture and is really useful for school. It is also sturdy and well made so if you want to take it on a more vigorous trip, it will hold up. I don't have any complaints about it, but if you are looking in to buying this product, there is one thing you should be warned of. The straps are a bit wider than normal because it is built with the suspension straps and made for comfort while hiking or other vigorous activities. So if you don't like that feeling of your whole back being covered, you may not like this. But I am also a petite person, so it may not matter that much for you. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this purchase and it has more features than I actually need, which I like."

This is perfect and roomy for a couple of normal sized textbooks, three or four binders, and several notebooks. So far so good!

Great size for my computer and books, really cute and fun without being obnoxious. I'm very excited to take this to college.

Looks nice and convenient pockets and straps, but the one I purchased starting splitting at the top seam after just a couple of weeks. I use it to carry my 17" laptop, but apparently the pack is not designed for such weight. Spend a little more and get a better quality backpack.
