Coleman RTX 3100 30L Backpack with Laptop Sleeve

I have had this backpack for two years now (purchased in July 2009) and it has stood up remarkably well. This backpack has been used primarily as a "work" bag (used to haul my lunch, work supplies, laptop, etc on a daily basis to and from work) plus it has seen some significant duty as a carry-on for both international and domestic flights (fits great under the seat). There are a healthy amount of internal pockets which are well protected and proportioned and the smaller external pockets are easily accessed and close securely (for the most part).

I am admittedly pretty rough with my backpacks and historically, most of them seem to wear out in two areas. The first is the stitching where the shoulder strap attaches to the top of the bag (common to most every backpack, no?)and the second is the fabric bottom/under-belly. This bag has held up in these two areas very well for me and are in almost new condition. I am especially surprised because I often keep this backpack under my desk and it is constantly being stepped on, kicked, and being dragged across a rough nylon carpet. These repetitious actions tend to quickly wear through the fabric bottoms of my backpacks... the one that I had before this one had holes in the bottom within 6 months under these conditions.

Other positives are the color... noticeable but not an obnoxiously bright orange. This bag also has a few stripes of reflective fabric on the shoulder straps for safety at night.

The only negative thing I have to say is in regards to the two mesh pockets on either side of the bag. They are not secure (no closures), they are tight and get shallow towards the front of the bag and I think that there could be a distinct possibility of losing stuff if you use them. I also see them as an easy target to get pilfered on a crowded city bus.

My Coleman backpack zipper broke on my first attempted use. Coleman Warranty Service was no help since I didn't buy it from a Brick and Mortar store. There is a big reason why these are selling so cheap, "They are Cheaply Made". I will never purchase Coleman products again!!!!

this backpack came and i was expecting a nice quality laptop backpack like i paid for. this backpack simply has a flimsy piece of material for holding yourlaptop, and the zippers are. very low quality. for a $50 ish backpack the quality of the product is very low. the size s also very big. i am only 5'2" but the backpack still seems exceedingly big. i do not reccommending this backpack, you can find a way better one for the price that you are paying.

As some others have noted, the backpack is a bit on the small side. Other than that, though, it's a very nice backpack. Took some adjusting to get it to fit just right, there are numerous straps that need to be adjusted, but once it's in the right spot, it stays put. The padding on it is excellent, very comfortable and has pads in places you wouldn't expect (on both the shoulder straps AND on the part that actually touches your back). The padding helps to keep my laptop from stabbing me in the back, and it gives the backpack a bit of a curve. With a normal backpack, you end up with the "flat" feeling if you have books or a laptop, and it feels like the backpack is barely touching your back. This one is far more comfortable in that regard.

Was *barely* able to fit a 14" HP Envy Ultrabook with a neoprene slip cover. Not sure if it would fit a 15" laptop as claimed. With the (very thin) laptop in the backpack, I can fit one AVERAGE size textbook and a notebook or two. So if you have lots of books (or even 1 big book) to haul around, I'd go with one of the bigger backpacks. For reference, this one is advertised as 17 Liter capacity.

Good construction, zippers open and close properly, helmet holder is effective if a bit unwieldy (I think that would be the case with any backpack with helmet holder, it's hard not to hit people and/or objects).

This, unfortunately, is much too small, and feels very flimsy. I think it would make a good bag for a young child, but it doesn't feel solid enough to handle a job given by an adult.

Mad Water Waterproof Sportsman's Duffel Bag

I was pleased with this bag from the moment I received it. It was exactly as described. This last weekend it was put to the extreme test, with torrential rains and heavy seas battering the boat we were sailing on. Everything got soaked on board, except for what I had stowed safely in this bag dry as a bone! Delighted I had it.

In addition, it appears to be pretty hardy bag as its already endured some rough treatment without much I'll effect. My only concern on the bag are the buckles, they seem a little brittle but the test of time will show if my concern is warranted. I suppose for the price, it's very excellent value!

Very nice waterproof bag for the money. I will eventually buy some more. Went camping with this bag and when it rained this was the only source that kept my gear dry. Make a tent.

Angry Birds Large Rolling Backpack

I ordered this backpack for my son and 2 days later it broke and he's so upset and I have to buy another one, the bottom of the backpack broke and the handle broke as well and now I have to order another one and school has not even been in session for 1 and 1/2.

I ordered the Angry Birds large Rolling backpack for my grandson who is starting 3rd grade. He loves Angry Birds so was thrilled when he saw it. He has a lot of homework every night so it is helpful for him to have a backpack with wheels. It is large enough for him to have room for his books and his lunch box. It seems to be sturdy enough to last the whole year. We are happy with the product.

I never got the backpack. It was delivered to a wrong address and after weeks waiting the company told me that USPS changes the address automatically. I think the company in this case should've written the address manually and not through the computer. But I just got a full refund, which shows it is a responsible company but not too effective. My son really wanted that backpack. I got it from another company with no problems with my shipping address. Plus I've ordered before from Amazon and received my items with no complications.:(

Briggs & Riley Verb Glide Backpack

I've been using this Briggs & Riley backpack for a number of months now and have no complaints. I use it for my daily commute via public transit and have carried it on business trips as well.

It is very well made and designed. Looks appropriate for a business professional and not a "book bag" for a high school student. It is "classy".

It's not too big and not too small. Very comfortable to wear and it still looks brand new after months of use!

Well worth the price. I doubt if I'll need to replace it for years to come.

So I've been searching for a quality laptop backpack. I own a small business, do some traveling but not a great deal. Primary use will be to and from the office. This looked great so I ordered one. There was much I liked, but the things I didn't were too important to ignore.

First, the good stuff. The bag is beautifully made, great materials and quality construction. It's an elegant bag. If you want a pack that doesn't look like a student's backpack, this is a great choice. It really does look like a fine piece of luggage that just happens to sit on your back. I liked the organization features and the orange interior, as well. It rode reasonably comfortably on my back.

Now, the stuff I didn't like so well. First, I was very disappointed with the slot into which my laptop goes. The way it's designed, the velcro around the top does not cinch the laptop down. I have a 15" Macbook Pro and when the velcro top is fastened, there is about 4-5" of slack between the top of the laptop and the top of the strap when pulled taut. It should clasp lower down the panel than it does to create a snug fit. This is, in my opinion, a poor design. I don't want my laptop bouncing around with every step, and with this pack, it will.

Then, the zippered compartments don't unzip fully enough, so it can make it difficult to find things in the deep recesses of the bag.

I also don't like that I have to put a water bottle inside the bag itself. I'd be more comfortable with that if my laptop was completely enclosed in a separate compartment, but it's not. If the bottle leaks, Houston, we have a problem.

Also, the little feature on the front of the bag, this kind of grommeted compartment that sticks out on the front of the bag? It's made from some weird material that is a combination of stiff and flexible. With my bag, just having it at home and loading and unloading it a few times was enough to bend the top edge of that thing just enough that it was already starting to bug me, and I hadn't even used it yet.

If none of the things that bothered me bother you, you may love the bag. For me, it was just a non-starter. My top requirement is my laptop has to be held very securely, and this just didn't do it. I also felt that the padding on the sides was insufficient. If the bag fell out of an overhead compartment and landed on its side, I was not confident that the computer would not be dented.

I ended up getting a Tom Bihn Brain Bag and it's exactly what I was looking for. But it looks like a backpack. If you want something that looks like it's ready for the boardroom, but is still a backpack, this Briggs bag is a good choice if you can live with the issues above.

I have been very happy with the Verb line from B&R. I also have the Fuse 20" carry on luggage and the Move business laptop case. I love my set much more now that I have the backpack. Even though this bag is the smaller version, you can fit a 15" wide laptop easily and possibly a second smaller laptop. There is lots of room and functional storage. There are dedicated pockets for a backup drive, cell phone, cables, and extra mags/paper files. There is even a dedicated pocket at the bottom of the bag to told your laptop power supply perfectly. Inside there is a zippable pocket to hold change/money so that it doesn't fall out. Padding for the laptop is good, but could have more on the bottom. The key clip comes in very handy while travelling, even to/from the office. There is a zipper at the rear bottom of the bag, so that you can insert the backpack onto your rollable carry on luggage arm handle, so this fits perfect with my Fuse luggage. Quite honestly the best backpack I've ever owned. Construction is great, design is very well thought out. Great job B&R!

I have had this backpack for over a year now. I travel a great deal I and needed a functional good looking pack that I could take into a client site. For the most part this fit the bill. However, after a couple of months the B&R badge came off the front. No big deal except it leaves two holes on the front which sort of spoils the look.

The big downside I have found though is the front slide pocket that was obviously designed for your cell phone. A really GREAT idea with one glaring problem, many phones do not fit, worse yet they get stuck. I have a Samsung Galaxy II. In a case it will not fit. With the case off it slips right in, but gets caught when you try to remove it which can be very embarrassing during a meeting. I own another B&R briefcase and my phone fits in there just fine so I am not sure why they made this one so small. It also needs the quick access boarding pass pocket that resides on many of their other bags.

All in all a great bag but these minor little annoyances keep me from giving it the fives stars it deserves. So, B&R, fix the flimsy badge, make the phone pocket a inch bigger and add the boarding pass pocket and you have a PERFECT pack.

I absolutely love this cover and the matching skin that came with it. It makes my computer more personable and it expresses me to a tee.

The case is very nice. Getting the right cut on the skin for the top of my computer took a few tries. Remember to always start bigger you can always cut away more if needed. However the mouse pad didn't make me happy. It is pretty but the edges are sort of lifting up. Almost like the fraying on pants. For the price with the shipping I expected a little better.

TITLE World Champion Sport Bag/Back Pack

This bag is huge. Don't expect it to fit into the tiny lockers at most Boxing gyms, but there is plenty of room for boxing gloves, towels, water, extra clothes etc. The zipper is a giant tread like connector. The bag is closer to a duffle bag in size and as long as you aren't expecting to stuff it in a locker its a great choice!

My boyfriend got an amazon gift card for his birthday from my mom. He needed a new gym bag and decided to go with this one. He was very happy with the value of this bag. He trains kick boxing and jui jitsu. He has room for his gloves, wraps, shoes, gym clothes, gi, and water bottles. I should also mention my boyfriend is 6'7 needless to say he needs a lot of room for all his items. He wears the largest gi size (sorry don't know the actual size number) and his gi fits in this bag with room to spare. He also likes the large zipper on the bag that allows you to open it very wide and see everything you have in your bag easily. He also likes the option of wearing it as a back-pack. As mentioned by other review this will not fit in a small gym locker, but it is a great bag for the money!

This bag is very nice. It is well-made and holds my purse essentials with room to spare. The leather is beautiful. I had a leather Coach purse, and I must say that this seems like better quality leather for a much cheaper price. It is great to have my hands free. I loved this backpack so much I bought this one only after I had already bought the green one from REI! It is the perfect size for my 7 year old and also perfect as a daypack for an adult. I plan on using this to travel oversees. What I really like about it is that it has a "rucksack" drawstring opening under the clipped hood. You don't have to worry about everything falling out when you open the pack, which is great for my son. Plus it has very handy zippered pockets on top and on the front. It has a chest clip for the straps so I don't have to worry about it slipping of the shoulders. Love this bag!

We bought one of these for our son when he started preschool a year ago and it is still in good condition. It is a great size, big enough for papers, clothes, etc. but not so big it overwhelms a small child. This backpack is still in great condition and held up so well to abuse from our son that we purchased one for our daughter this year. She is small for her age (3) but can still handle this backpack easily and loves the chest buckle. I love that these packs are equally suitable for school, hiking, an overnight trip or even a short backpacking trip (will hold just the amount a small child can handle). I would highly recommend it as a quality durable pack.

I've ordered this Tangled backpack and Amazon shipped me an Ariel backpack instead. I could not exchange it via online services and had to call and spend nearly 20 minutes arranging the return and exchange, the rep was very pleasant and helpful, and made sure I received the replacement on time for the little girl's birthday party. I received the replacement, but it was the Ariel backpack instead, again. So I ended up with lost time, two wrong backpacks and no gift for the party. Hence, the seller gets 1 star from me for trying and failing. As far as the backpack's quality goes, I would give it 3 stars mostly for pretty colors. It's a throw away backpack that won't last a year, but will sure make a little girl happy because it's so cheerful and colorful.

I bought this backpack with the intention of having something my princess-loving 3 year old could store all her pertinent "stuff" in for when we do day trips to Grandma's house. And the fact that it's wheeled means she can pull it herself without me having to feel like a Sherpa every time we leave the house. The handle snaps firmly in place and retracts with a decent amount of pressure. There are two side pockets that have Velcro, 3 main pockets, and a smaller back pocket where the straps are. The bag is really lightweight, which is good, since by the time she's filled it, its not, but it does tip over if too full. The canvas seems really durable, the plastic wheels/handle less so (tougher to wheel on carpet), and since I don't plan on having it thrown around an airport conveyer belt, I'm ok with the cheaper plastic.

This just arrived today so we have not had time to use it yet (other than my almost 4 year old dragging it around the house). The construction quality is much better than I anticipated. There are two large zipper pocket portions and one small on the front. There is velcro on the back to keep the straps from dragging when it's being rolled. When my 4 year old daughter puts it on her back it is quite large but is perfect for what we bought it for. We are going to use it as her carry on for the airplane. This will fit more than enough. I would say it would be perfect for a long weekend as well.

I purchased this for my grandson's birthday.He took it on a plane trip first, held all his toys and reading material for the flights. lots of pockets and room. easy for him to handle. only issue was the extra length of strap from shoulder strap caught under the wheel and ripped off. it came undone from the velcro. make sure to get it on the velcro and close the cover over it to hold.

other Moms have asked where it was purchased. his friends love it because it has wheels and the bright picture and pockets.

Not a very durable backpack. Purchased it for my kindergartner for the school season. Didn't even make it two months before the handle/wheels part fell apart, so we ripped it off and it became a regular backpack for the next three months until we got a new high quality rolling backpack from Pottery Barn. The construction of this backpack does not take the normal daily wear and tear of a young boy. Expect it to last only a few months.

K-Cliffs Clear Transparent PVC Multi-pockets School Backpack/ Outdoor Backpack with Color Trim

Well today I shipped my second backpack back to Amazon. The first one arrived Christmas Eve (it was supposed to be a gift) with a LARGE tear in the bottom. The second backpack arrived this week with a LARGE tear in the top. The plastic is brittle and both backpacks almost appeared to have been slashed with a box cutter. Very disspointing. Toshiba 16-Inch Neoprene Case

A: Toshiba should remove the handles on this, using them messes up the product.

B: It is neoprene SLEEVE, not a "case". The name "case" implies there is some support, there is none.

I wanted a neoprene sleeve, and it is a decent one for the money, but the handles on the sleeve are not supported by anything. The weight of the computer & just makes the sleeve sag down & neoprene stretch upward at the base of the handles. Thin neoprene stretches & that is what the handles are attached to.

Having handles there tends to have you use them.

Puma Performance Gym Sack

Since these bags are "what the kids use" instead of a traditional backpack for school, I bought a different brand for my son when school started. The top of it ripped almost immediately, because these bags are sort of triangular in shape, and guess what-books are not. This puma bag took a few extra days to get here than I thought it would, but is of very high quality, with wide straps that don't dig into the shoulders like a string bag. Very sturdy!
