I bought this for my 7th grade daughter. She absolutely loves it! It is large enough and sturdy enough for all her books.The price at Amazon is almost half of what I saw it for in the mall.

Osprey Contrail Daypack

I fly frequently for business (when not backpacking) and use this for airport/office travel. As always, Osprey makes a top-notch product with all the small details covered in the design. Fits well, has excellent storage capacity, and functions like a 'real' backpack while showing a sleak corporate appearance.

The computer pocket is 11" wide and deep enough to hold a widescreen laptop computer. I can pack file folders and documents without getting them bent, and still have room for a jacket ! Excellent organization in small front pocket and side pockets are useful for electronic chargers and things with power cords.

It fits well on the Contrail suit case (also an awesome product) and attaches on and off easily.

Add in the Osprey no-questions gaurantee, and you can't loose.

A little spendy for an office backpack, but you'll know where the money went when you use it.

If you're on the fence about this one, order it. You'll be happy.

This is a great uncluttered daypack. It would be better if the back panel opened all the way down. But it carries its load much more easily than most daypacks.

Voodoo Tactical 15-7866 Tobago Pack

I bought this bag after doing a ton of research. I called voodoo tactical.net, the official dealer and spoke with them. I asked if this bag was durable to hold up to field use. I am in law enforcement and wanted a bag that could take some some abuse and keep going. They assured me that the bag could hold anything you could fit into it and then some.So, I pulled the trigger and bought the bag. When it came I was so excited! it was large and contained massive storage compartments. The lay out of the bag was perfect and there was little to be desired from the overall design.

So your probably wondering whats the problem?.....well, its was the materials. Its a shame too, because this bag had a lot of potential had the materials it was constructed with been better. On my very first day of packing the bag, the stitching came apart from the top main compartment. It tore so easily I was hocked. I hadn't even put on my bag under a load yet, and was nowhere near filling the bag up or over packing. Once it began to tear, it went like paper, making this bag useless. The Nylon is inferior to mil spec and doesn't come close to comparing. The solution? find a bag made from 900 Denier nylon. There is no substitute to good quality material and craftsmanship. This bag offered so much, but its like tricking out a two wheel drive truck with off road gear and accessories. Whats the point? compared to a 4-wheel drive truck its just not capable of doing the job.

I would recommend Flying Circle bags. They make some great bags out of 900 Denier Nylon, are waterproof, are genuinely mil spec, and cost less then this inferior bag. Flying Circle Bags even has a GS contract for govt. sales. They are the real deal.

The pack is well designed in theory, but the actual construction is awful. Within 2 months, the zippers broke, the shoulder strap broke (weak plastic), and the straps themselves came apart. This pack is used for school, I would not recommend using this for anything serious like hiking, camping, and God forbid our soldiers get them.

I liked the size of the bag, but almost immediately had problems with the zippers. A few of the zippers have to be opened very slow and carefully. The come off the track way too easily. I really wanted to like this bag, but because of the cheap zippers, its almost useless. I can't decide whether to put it up in my closet or throw it away.

That's a very nice backpack for the ones who ride bikes. I bought the mid-size, and there's room for a lot of things, like one week of groceries. And it's very confortable when riding, the weight is very divided along the back.

The material is waterproof, so it's ok to ride in the rain.

The only downside is the belly strap that is very thin, and don't help much.

Definitely recommend.

I love the material used for the nimbus latitude it's super stretch and light weight, and is extremely durable. The front loading design made my trips simpler without having to take everything out just to get to stuff at the bottom of the backpack (like what I see a lot of fellow travelers do). I borrowed my friend's nimbus latitude for trips to the Middle East and Africa and throughly impressed with it that I finally purchased my own. The Ki version has even more pockets added to the top. Wildkin Horse Dreams Crackerjack Backpack

The pack is well made and roomy. My granddaughter enjoys naming the realistic looking horses. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the flap over the main zipper often gets in the way when zipping it closed.

Nice small gear bag for carrying things around from car to work to home. I will probably purchase another one to use as a range bag. The only issue i have with it is the location of the D-rings. They should be a bit higher to keep the bag more vertical when loaded. Other than that is seems durable and flexible with all that attachment webbing.

We wanted this to be used as a backpack for middle schoolthere's no way that will happen since this "messenger bag" is the size of a purse. The dimensions of the bag would have helped since we would not have purchased this had we known it was so small. But, its all about the guys on the front anyway, not what it can hold. The price is way out of line for the product.

CalPak Silver Lake 31" Wheeled Duffel

We bought this in a rush for my sons trip and the handle (to pull the rolling duffle) was already sticking a bit. but we assumed it would get smoother with time. Instead it just completely locked up and he had to struggle with that all over colorado.

He LOVED the bag otherwise and I wish we I could just risk getting the same one to replace it but it is SUCH a hassle to return....

If your travels are either long in duration or you simply face a situation at the destination where you need lots of stuff, this is a bag that can handle the load.

Jansport Mesh Back Pack

My daughter needed a mesh back pack for school and we bought the Jansport in scarlet. It is a bit large for my second grader who just turned 7, but not so overwhelming that she can't handle it. It is probably the standard size for an adult back pack.

The mesh is thick and sturdy--unlike others we bought and lasted less than a year before wearing out on the bottom, and it is roomy for books and folders. It has a front pocket in the same mesh material. but it also has a small inside pocket in a solid canvas sort of material that is handy for small items, or pointy pencils that could hurt someone poking out of the mesh pocket.

The straps have plenty of padding for comfort when carrying a full load.

I love Jansport--still have a back pack of theirs that I carried in college (15 years ago) and it is still in perfect condition. I did not hesitate in ordering this back pack and do not regret it--this is a plain, but durable and comfortable pack.

This is a great backpack for amusement parks or anywhere with a security check point. It's well ventilated. People are always asking where did I get it.

I went through a bunch of bags before I arrived at this one. I wanted a simple and small to med size black (work friendly) backpack with a side pocket for water, organizer, and preferably a pocket for a tablet in addition to a laptop pocket. This one covers all bases. The backpack is very well made and appears to be using a water resistant (unconfirmed) nylon. It has tricot lined pockets for both a laptop (up to 15") and a tablet. There is also a small lined pocket on the side for a phone or music player, but it seems kinda useless being so small. The backpack is perfect size, not huge where it would be uncomfortable on the train, but large enough to fit all my stuff and then some. It also doesn't have a lot of those annoying features most backpacks seem to come with these days. Things like sternum straps, insanely padded back, and other useless straps all around. This backpack is listed at 18L capacity, which is not mentioned anywhere for some reason.

I love this sleeve! I get compliments on it all the time and it fits my Asus laptop with these measurements 15.60" x 10.60" x 1.20" 1.60", but it is a snug fit. Both patterns are very cute, do note that the designs are brown not black, which can be a little hard to see in the pictures.

I have a 15.6" HP Pavilion DV6-3259WM (14.88"x9.65"x1.37") and it slides around in this sleeve. Its obviously made for a bigger laptop. The only way to make it fit is to leave the styrofoam insert it was shipped with in with the computer, which is weird. I actually tried it on my 17.3" HP DV7-4272us (16.35"x10.8"x1.25"/1.46") and, although it's pretty snug, I would say it's more appropriate for the 17.3".

The material looks just like the picture and the stitching looks sturdy.

I lusted after this super cute case for a long time, and waited even longer for it to come into stock. Unfortunately, I recieved it June 1st and in less than 2 weeks the seams up by the flap, on both sides, started unraveling. It's been steadily falling apart ever since. Keep in mind that I RARELY use my laptop. For such minimal use, I'm very disappointed. Don't sacrifice quality for visual appeal. I will be buying one with a zipper closure next time.

Got it today in the mail. It's really pretty, colors are vibrant and good quality, but when I tried it on my laptop (HP Pavilion m6-1045dx) it's a little bit loose all around. I would love it if it's an inch smaller all around and thicker material. Most items sold here on Amazon (cases,decals,bags) aren't up to date yet with the slim laptops that have come out recently. I'm saying this coz if I had a regular sized, bulky 15inch laptop it would definitely have fit with the machine's thickness. But the past couple of months, ultrabooks and slim (lightweight) laptops are about an inch or two thinner than their predecessors, so it wouldn't fit the nice cases they have on here. I'm holding on to this for the next few days and will upload some pics, but I'm not sure if I'll keep it. =/

I ordered 4 of these as gifts and had them monogrammed. They are excellent quality, heavy duty, extra pockets and came folded in a bag that can be used for other items. I travel every two weeks and so far I've always had plenty of room to spare in my bag but my final undoing will be the zipper. Got two bags for a recent 6-day trip to Walt Disney World. Since check-in luggage is now $15 per bag, we decided to get 2 large duffel bags for 2 adults and 2 youth. A plastic clip on the shoulder strap of one bag broke on the trip down; very inconvenient. On the way back the second bag got a nice slash, presumably from some baggage handling equipment, that penetrated the bag and cut deep into a nice down-filled coat.

Next time we'll get luggage with heavier fabric and wheels.

The interior pouches are well-proportioned to hold extra hand-warmers and hat, gloves, etc. The waist band take the weight of my shoulder, which is a definite bonus with me.

Did not have as much room in the main pocket as I would have liked but was a good hunting pack.

High Sierra Cirque 30 Pack

I was looking for a backpack that I can use for both day hikes and for backpacking (I pack light when i go backpacking!). This pack is extremely comfortable, and has the perfect amount of storage for carrying all my gear. It has a sternum strap (which has elastic so it doesn't constrict your breathing), and a waist strap. padding on all the straps, and the padding on the back of the pack itself, is plenty comfortable. There is a phone/mp3 player pouch on the left shoulder strap, and the top of the pack has a special thru-hole for use with a water bladder.

My only complaint is that the zippers are a bit tricky to use. The zippers seem pretty durable, but it can be a pain in the butt if you have to unzip and zip the pack frequently. I think other reviewers pointed this out too. It isn't a deal-breaker, it's just kind of annoying. There is a fabric strip that covers the zippers (like most backpacks have), and if you pull it away from the zipper before you try to unzip the pack, it is much easier.

As far as capacity is concerned, I am able to fit all my backpacking gear (sleeping back, tent, food, fishing gear, etc), my full-size camera tripod that collapses to 15", and two 1-quart bottles in the mesh side pockets.

My backpack is still good as new after 3 years, and I even use it as a carry on bag at the airport frequently, however the carrying handle on top tore off about a year ago. It didn't cause any damage to any seams or anything, so I just cut off the remaining material for the handle and continue using the backpack without it. I do miss it sometimes though, it was a great place to grab hold of the bag to toss it into my car trunk. If the rest of the bag ever bites the dust, I will definitely consider buying this exact same backpack to replace it.

I recently bought this backpack to use while cycling and must say the quality is quite high. It seems to be made of a high quality water resistant material that will likely last a long time. The straps on this bag are thick and the back of the bag is made of a rather stiff foam. The pack is also versed with every attachment option imaginable, but I find it has too many straps that can get quite annoying. Inside there are not many pockets, just the two main pouches each with a thin separator and a small zip pocket. Overall for the price, this is a great backpack to use for outdoor activities.

From the picture and the description, I was expecting a little bit of a bigger pack.

It is extremely comfortable, the waist and chest straps see to that well. Do not get me wrong

when I say i was expecting it to be bigger, its big for a day pack. It would even be okay on longer

and over night trips. So far I have used it for everything from hiking, snowboarding and camera hauling.

If youre in the market for a reliable and inexpensive pack, go for this one.

I bought the black one and paid $49.95. What a bargain! I have paid much more money for much less pack. It's well made, comfortable, easy to organize and great for a grab and go hike. I wouldn't load 50 lbs of books in it and you can't use it for a four day backpack trip, but I have to carry a lot of water for my dog and this pack is a blessing. I have an arthritic shoulder and this pack gets the weight off of the painful spots and shifts it to the hip belt. I love it!

this is a comfortable hiking pack, nice straps-easy to adjust. but it looks like it should hold more than it does, and it only has the two large zippersno smaller pockets for keys and such. But still a good pack.

Great bag. It has 2 main compartments, one in the front and one in the back. The compartment in the front has a couple of smaller pockets to put stuff inside, pretty simple layout. The straps are really comfortable and will never eat into your shoulders regardless of the content weight. I also had my bag on during slight rain with my DSLR inside. I was worried initially but when I found shelter, my camera and insides were still totally dry.

There was an accidental leakage of water from my bottle on another occasion as well, the insides dried up really fast and well. Great multi-purpose, or rather all-purpose bag for most weather conditions and comfort.

Just a slight edit for those interested in its durability. I've brought this bag out under heavy periods of rain with a DSLR (Canon 50D) and my laptop inside my bag. I was worried that the stuff inside would get wet so I kind of ran through the rain. The straps were sturdy and allowed me to move pretty fast with minimal obstruction.

Upon reaching my destination (which was sheltered) I unzipped the bag and found everything inside still toasty and dry. Great bag for any casual traveller.

This laptop sleeve provided everything I expected it to. The material is soft and durable. I've had lots of comments on the print as well. The strap is super soft, but I like the fact that it is removable because most the time I use the handles anyways. The pocket is really handy to store my mouse and cables.

The stitching that held the plastic hook to the bag of the shoulder strap came lose and as I was walking my entire laptop bag fell on the ground. Luckily the bag is a little padded and my Mac laptop was fine. I have only owned this bag for a little over a month and carried it around probably 2 weeks at most. I did not carry anything heavy, its usually my 15 inch Mac and the power supply. The bag does feel really cheap in quality, not worth the money. My advice: spend an extra $10 and get a real laptop bag from Belkin.
