I dont have too much experience buying stuff online. The bag pack is little bit small sized. I can barely put 2 books in it. It works for my summer class but will not work for my Fall class where i have at least 3 book with 1 binders. overall its good brand and its looks good. good for Kids....Want Swiss Gear SA1357 Black/Cement Grey/Swiss Red Backpack Discount?
Vivitar DKS-18 Photo/SLR/Laptop Sling Backpack (Black)
The compartments themselves are well padded, and the accessibility to the sides as well as front zippers is awesome! Being able to change from a shoulder-slung to a cross-slung to a backpack is also great :) The top compartment holds a surprising amount of stuff as well.
Total stuff in the bag currently:
Canon T3i + 18-55 kit lens + Hood
Canon 55-250mm Lens + Hood
Canon 50mm 1.8 Lens + Hood
Macro Extenders
Ring Light + battery pack + DC adapter (cheap macro stuff)
Polarizing filter/UV filter
2 Portable HDDs
AA Battery Charger
Phone Charger Cables + Wall adapters
Laptop Charger cables
14.6" IBM Laptop
So, it does fit a significant amount of stuff. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!Yes, everything fits and well protected in this bag. It is very similar to the Tamrac Evolution 8 or 9 but only 1/3 or 1/4 of the price respectively. I think the side access is very important....unless you want to take the backpack off and lie it down on the street for the next burglar. The rain cover also comes handy and important unless you only stay at home.....in that case you don't need a backpack. You can buy the big brand but I am telling you that I made a side by side comparison and there is very little difference......the zippers are actually better on this product. I am selling my Tamrac Expedition and staying with this one instead of the Tamrac Evolution. Forgot to mention also that the tripod leg pocket at the bottom is also bigger and stronger than the Tamrac and you can conceal it in case you don't carry a Tripod. The laptop pocket is well padded and big enough for any 14 inch screen. The handle on the top feels stronger than the Tamrac Evolution IMHO.

When I received the bag I was actually surprised at its size.. It is a fairly medium to large sized pack(almost school book bag sized..not as wide)..I'm 5'11" and it's not huge, but not too small and female looking(on a man). The reviews discussing the interior materials and Velcro quality are VERY true as far as plan your positioning and use your fingers to separate the velcro( so to relieve the pressure of tearing)... Mine did tear a bit and the nylon is tough to repair.. But it is what it is... I sewed it up as best I could, put it where it's gonna stay, you aren't gonna see it! and on with life! Exterior quality seems to be fine.. I know other reviews mention zipper issues.. I have not had any as of yet! Used a few times in and out-doors(cold weather). Will keep you posted as to in the future.
As for capacity... It will hold some gear! If you have 8 lenses and diffuser screens and multiple slave flashes a camcorder, 6 p.&s cameras, etc.. NOT what your lookin for!! I have my T3i w/ 18-55mm attached, 75-300mm( can also fit mounted), filters, batteries, chargers, various cords, hoods...and have room for a point & shoot and my handycam in the bottom...top enough space for a lunch or rain poncho and some trinkets( your not going out for a 3 day camp with just this!!). For a day at the park, or at a venue ..Perfect..maybe a tad bulky but..all-in-all..
CONCLUSION: For $50...it gives you the size, ability, and style of the KATA, Tamrac, etc at a 1/3 of the cost.. If your a professional(getting paid for your shots, and traveling 340 days for it)..you don't need or wouldn't be looking at this bag!!.. If your going a vacations, and taking the family to the theme park or day hikes/bikes then, this is a GOOD BUY!!! Yes you may have to fix an issue or two, you will probably customize it, and you will be able to determine if it is comfortable as a sling or not..for me.. Long hours of wear(backpack mode), an hour or two(sling is fine) yes, the padding is a bit funky for sling but I found that I can adjust it so it doesn't rub my neck..look as I said.. It's a backpack with options..which is why we are all looking at it!! And like me this is the 100th review you have read and have narrowed down your 2 or 3 choices and makers... I chose this one and I am satisfied completely with cost and above cost quality..should last for a while and do what I need it to! Hope this helps all those like me who obsess over research, products and manufacturers, etc...before buying.. But then again "to each his own.."

I've only taken it out once so far, but it is very comfortable in the backpack mode (I don't think I'll ever use it in the sling mode, as it seemed a little awkward when I tried it), and has lots of room for my Nikon D5100, two lenses, tripod, plus lots of room for extras, filters, and other small equipment. Another reviewer mentioned that the pack sits too low on the back, even when straps are pulled tight, but I got around this by removing the pads at the bottoms of the straps, which weren't doing anything anyway, and then was able to cinch the straps tighter and get it where I wanted on my back. I am planning on travelling with this pack and I think it will do the job for me. Even if it only lasts one year, for the price you can't go wrong.Want Vivitar DKS-18 Photo/SLR/Laptop Sling Backpack (Black) Discount?
Gonna have to say some not-so-great things about this one.Cons:
-Pretty cheap interior material. I feel like I'm fighting to not rip it when I organize the dividers. The zippers feel cheap as wel as well. I'm worried they might break in the near future.
-Never seen this in a backpack, but the straps don't go as high as I want...I pull it up to the maximum height on my back, and it's not high enough for me (I'm 6' 2").
-There's an obnoxious 24 inches (at least) of extra strap hanging when I pull it up to the maximum height (fixable). Again, not something I've ever had a problem with in a backpack...
-There's absolutely no soft area to put more fragile things like filters.
-The laptop area has ZERO padding.
Pros:
-Chest and waist strap
-Comes with a rain protector
-Place to put a tripod
-Can be used as a sling (haven't done it but I suppose it could be useful)
Overall, it's an average camera backpack. My biggest qualm is the cheap interior/no padding. I'm going to try to make it work, but maybe go with something else.

Also, as you can see in the photo, there are no front pockets. There are also no side pockets--no drink carrier nets. You have to unzip the thing from the top to access your wallet, keys, phone, and other small items. Very inconvenient.
That being said, the unzip-all-the-way-down-the-middle feature definitely simplifies security screening at the airport. So three stars for that.
I had a similar bag from Targus that was roomier. With the Targus bag, I was able to put my liquid baggie between the large sections of the bag. As a result, unzipping simultaneously made my laptop ready for screening and and enabled me to extract my baggie. Sadly, this bag is too small for that. A completely full quart-size baggie of liquids is a super tight squeeze in the center of the backpack.

My grandson uses this to go to school, and on small road trips. Its a great gift my grandson is enjoying it to the fullest. It's beautiful and my son loved, however it's more fragile than I supposed, so I'm afraid it will be gone in a few months from now.Got this for my three year old Grandson. He had the smaller backback "Cars" on wheels. He loved the bigger backpack from "Avengers". Great gift from Grandma to take his things to spend the night! High Sierra Classic Series 59101 Col 35 Internal Frame Pack
1. Fits under the seatIf you pack this bag to be even remotely full, it is too deep to fit under the seat. You could however, try to cram it in, put your foot over it and then your coat over your lap so the stewardess won't force you to check it.
2. Sized for some carry onsIt is ok for 8 out of 10 airplanes. Smaller airplanes will force you to check it and the bag needs to be placed horizontally to fit in the overhead (meaning it takes up a lot of room). I highly recommend you getting on the flight first to make sure you have enough space. Also, UNITED may force you to check this bag for domestic flights. This bag theoretically meets the size requirements but it just LOOKS huge. Beware.
3. Distributes WeightIf you pack this bag to be remotely heavy, you will hate yourself. It feels no different from any other backpack filled with heavy stuff. The internal frame does very little to make this tenable.
4. Packs a lot of stuffThis bag looks big but doesn't pack a lot. The most I've been able to fit is about a weekend of clothes (that I wore twice), toiletries and shoes. My friend had a purse that fit more than this bag. There are no side packets or any nooks and crannies to store most things. Things that are slightly wide are really hard to put in and take out (IE: laptop, papers, notebooks)... I tried to put a binder in to no avail.
5. Top loading is terribleIf you are backpacking across XYZ, imagine having to take EVERYTHING out of your bag to get a pair of shoes...now, imagine doing that again and again, spreading your stuff all over dirty hostels around the world.
6. It does not fit a sleeping bagUnless you ONLY want to fit a sleeping bag. The bottom compartment has a "rain shield" for the bag and thats really about all it fits.

This is a very good pack for a day hike if you are the dad carrying all the food and water for mom and the kids. I use it to carry all the water and a picnic for a long day hike (10+ miles). The pack is very comfortable carrying 20+lbs. It suits well on my hips and the straps are extremely comfortable the whole time. Definitely recommend.Read Best Reviews of High Sierra Classic Series 59101 Col 35 Internal Frame Pack Here
I am very pleased with the quality of the High Sierra Classic Series 59101 Col 35 Internal Frame Pack. It has a sturdy build and is very tuff. It looks great, and will make a great two-four day pack. ***** for this product.Want High Sierra Classic Series 59101 Col 35 Internal Frame Pack Discount?
This pack works great. I use it on my bike commute 5 days a week for 12 miles a day. the weight is distributed nicely and the straps are nice and thick with the two front straps it hardly moves around so I don't have to worry about the weight shifting to one side of my body and falling off my bike. The top back loop in the middle unthreaded because I attached my Ulock through it. Don't put anything too heavy on those.

Kidorable Umbrella
I contacted the company, as I'd gotten it directly from Kidorable. They told me they'd be happy to replace it, if I mailed it back to them at my own expense. Cost of shipping tube, plus cost of first-class postage, was over $8, for a $14 umbrella.
Also, it's cute, but TINY!My 5 year old son is a complete pirate fanatic...so when I saw this I knew this would be the perfect addition to the Santa haul. It is very sturdy and is even more adorable than the picture. My mother bought the boots, raincoat, and umbrella for my daughter when she was 4 and everything has held up quite well. She is 7 now the boots are still in prefect condition as well as the coat. However, the umbrella broke about 2 years after we bought it. It wasn't due to the quality at all one of her friends stepped on it and snapped it. My daughter used this set for the first 2 years every chance she got even when it was barely raining and all of it held up very well! We bought the coat and boots a bit big and they really lasted it wasn't until last year she has grown out of all of it. THE ENTIRE SET IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!! My daughter breaks just about everything but this set lasted like no other!!!Kidorable Ladybug Raincoat Kidorable Toddler/Little Kid Ladybug Rain Boot

Update almost 2 years later!
Still in love. kids now 5 and 3 and its perfect. lots of pockets for snacks, my stuff, band aids/meds and misc. I can fit so much in here, and now my needs are different and it still rocks. you CAN maching wash on gentle in a pillow case and air dry for a nice clean bag. The black is so classic and i get compliments all the time still. best diaper bag for 2 small kids, babies or pre school aged!I love this bag! I'm on baby #2 so I feel like I learned a lot from the first one. What I really love about this bag is that empty, it is a VERY light weight bag. I compared to other bags, some that were over a hundred dollars more than this one, and this was very light weight. I didn't want to lug around 20+ pounds of baby gear on one shoulder then a baby in the other arm. I love the gripped straps on the side that attach to a stroller! What a great idea! Also love the expandable feature, although I'm sure I'll never wear it closed up. First of all, I have a tendency to over pack for outings and second, I love the orange accent in the middle! My favorite part about this bag is that it is very classy looking. I wasn't about to lug around a "character" themed diaper bag on my shoulder. This bag is definitely brown, cream and bright orange with shiny gold accents on it. It is a little hard to tell from the picture. Also, the inside has 4 of the same size pockets, 2 on each side and the back side of the bag has a zipper that holds the included changing pad. It's a great bag, don't hesitate to order it!

I got this about 2 weeks ago and it's great plenty of room for your usual items and then some. However, after about 3 days of normal use, the stitching on the personal items zipper in front has started fraying this means that the zipper has come off from the fabric lining and backing, exposing the batting , lining and guts. I have to stuff the zipper in and find someone to stitch it up for me.
Inside, the pockets are poorly sewn, so that even before use, the pockets were starting to come apart from the lining and the two pockets merging into one.
It's such a stylish bag i really want a replacement, but will have to see if the local agent will give me an exchange or repair.
I'll be writing to skip hop to see what they can do about it, enclosing pictures.

This is a wonderful and stylish mid-sized diaper bag!I admit I was disappointed when I first received it. But I had already ripped out a tag and was afraid Amazon wouldn't accept the return, so I kept it ... and I'm really glad I did! I've used it every day since then and have come to love it! Here are my comments on common features:
Size: When I first saw it, I was mainly disappointed at how small it was. But after 9+ months of use, I now think the size is perfect: It's large enough for a half day out with the baby, but small and light enough that I sometimes carry it as a purse when I'm on my own.
Pockets: I was also initially disappointed at how it only had two sets of outside pockets, but honestly, I've never needed more. (In fact, some of them go unused.) One thing to note is that the cell phone pocket is sized for an iPhone; my Android doesn't fit, so I keep it in one of the gathered pockets.
Quality: I've had this bag for about 9 months and I've used it almost every day. As far as I can tell, the bag still looks pretty much like new.
Style: Of course, this depends on your individual preference, but I can say that this bag looks as nice in person as it does in the pictures. It's stylish enough that I've never thought twice about taking it into nicer venues. I've even had people tell me that if it weren't for the Skip Hop label, they would have never guessed it was a diaper bag.
Design: One thing to mention about this bag, and perhaps my only criticism, is that the top doesn't open very wide, which makes it difficult to reach into the corners. To be honest, though, once I got used to it, it stopped being an issue entirely; I haven't even thought about it for months. And it might actually be a feature: Since the opening is small, things don't fall out much when you're digging around in it. But it's something to be aware of.
So how much does it hold? Here's my standard fare: In the main compartment, I usually have three cloth AIO's, a wet bag, and a camera. In the inside pockets, I put a dozen cloth wipes and a small spray bottle, a half dozen pairs of baby socks, a folded up receiving blanket, and a small toy. In the outside pockets, I keep my wallet, keys, cell phone, extra pair of glasses, comb, a few hand wipes, and a small tin of calendula salve. If I want to bring my 11" laptop, I usually tuck it into the changing pad pocket. I'd say that, with all the above objects, the bag is about 2/3 of the way full. I've crammed it fuller before, but it gets to be rather heavy and things become hard to reach.I LOVE this bag. I got it in the cream link pattern, and it feels so trendy without being over-done. What I love best about it are ALL the pocketsnone of them are superfluous, they are all easy to access, and extremely practical. I love that the changing pad pocket is on the outside, making it easy to access all the diapering stuff when pinning down a wiggling poopy child. I love the roomy diaper pockets on the inside, the cell phone/pacifier pocket (my daughter doesn't use a pacifier so I co-opted the pocket for my cell and it's perfect! No more digging!). The ONLY complaint I have is the coloring. I love the contrast of orange and cream, but I thought when I go ordered it that it would be more of a white than a dark beige. Also, because it's so light, it gets dirty really fastthe material is a slick nylon kind of a material, not the coated canvas many diaper bags are nowadays. A bottle of anti-bac leaked in my bag and it wasn't actually water proof (granted, that was a pretty extreme test of their water-proofing, but still!)The brown of the zipper for the orange section ran and left a permanent stain on part of the bag, and the orange portion got a water stain. This was not Skip Hop's fault though, so I don't think it detracts from the bag. What does detract from the bag for me is that the corners get pretty gross looking from brushing up against things in the course of the dayhard to feel stylish when your bag gets that dirty looking, that easily. It's not machine washable, so I often have to empty it out and go at it with a toothbrush, being EXTRA careful not to get the orange section or brown zippers wet, God forbid they stain the bag! That said, it's lightweight, stylish, practical, and unique looking. Despite the wear and tear of staining, I would probably buy it again.
K-Cliffs Clear PVC School Backpack/ Outdoor Backpack with Blue Back Panel
It rained a lot while we were there, and the thick plastic material helped the things inside from getting wet. It is not waterproof (although I don't think it claimes to be...) because water can get in through the zipper area, but on the whole, this backpack kept everything a lot dryer than if we had used a cloth one.
One more thing, it is a lot easier to find things in a clear backpack, so when you are packing a day's worth of park necessities (sunscreen, diapers, fans, snacks, etc), it is WAY easier to find them in this bag. That alone made this purchase worth while. I will definitely be saving this bag for all future theme park visits (even if I don't totally love the style of a clear backpack!!)so far so good. I purchased two of them for my girls. I like the fact that the back of them are solid material. I am not to fond of the ones that are plastic all the way through

OGIO Deluxe Bag
It looks great, feels tough, and has all of the somewhat premium features of a backpack. I think someone posted a review about the zippers saying they werent great, well id disagree. Imo the entirety of this backpack is well built and thought out. I used it for my first semester of college and it has very little signs of wear. Only has it on the bottom and where the middle strap goes on.
Pros: Looks great, built well, comfortable even when full(can hold all of my books and binders with a bit of room to spare((3 textbooks and 5 spirals))), has a spot for ipods/phones/sunglasses, second biggest pouch has a bunch of mesh organizers for cables, notecards, etc., smallest pouch works great for many things, the bottle holders really hold things well. The main shoulder straps and handle are very well padded and strong, ive had zero issues with them, and the zippers are good too.(they use the same zippers lowpro bags use, and i love them) overall it slightly waterproof for a few seconds. I had to sprint through very heavy rain, leaving me completely soaked, but the backpack only moist, and nothing inside was wet even at all. Overall id buy it again.
Cons: The material they make this pack out of is kind of lacking for only one reason, it isnt a dyed cloth, its one sided and the opposite side is white, so any tears, or loose threads stick out white, the middle strap; its an okay feature, but has its faults. Dont remove it unless you really feel like never using it, its a pain to get back on, and can tear up the pathway that it hooks on(youll know what i mean when you see it). If they fixed the white thread issue id reccomend the heck out of this thing, but otherwise its just a great backpack(with non white thread id say awesome).
If you like the looks and features buy it.Great bag. Fits my 16" laptop easily. Heaps of compartments and looks great. Only thing that I don't like is poor quality zips. You can tell the are weak just by using them. Really let's down a fantastic bag. Even so if I get six months out of this one I wouldn't hesitate in buying another one.Got the backpack pretty quickly. Love this backpack. It's bigger than my old one so it's taking some time to get use to but it is such a useful backpackI used it daily for more than a year, still looks like a new one no problem with materials or zippers. Very durable, great materials, great size and shape, looks stylish. The zippers are trash and at least in one week the backpack gets broken and a huge hole appeared between one of those poorly zippers!

We were very pleased with our purchase... Size was just right! Not huge , but not those little purse sized ones either... Quality was excellent... Such nice looking leather.., especially considering the price... So many that we saw were hundreds of dollars... Great find!!When I Received the backpack and open it up I was expecting a bigger backpack! The backpack that I saw online looked a lot bigger, but the one that I received is a lot smaller and I'm not happy the size! The backpack looked light and cheap.
